Pop up window at the start of launching labview vi.

When my labview vi is launched, I would like to first display a window that requests a serial number and when this has been entered, the window disappears and the main vi is launched which sequences all the tests for the unit identified. Can anyone give me some guidance please on how to do this.

The VI is located on the functions pallete in Programming>File I/O>Advanced File Functions>Check if File or Folder Exists. Attached is an image of where it is found

If that doesn't work:
# Type about:config in the address bar

Using Firefox 5 in Windows 7, once I have Firefox open, I can no longer open a new window using the start button. How do I fix?

As I stated, I have Windows 7 on my laptop and have installed Firefox 5. I sometimes like to have multiple windows of the browser open. But, unlike any previous version of Firefox, now when I have the browser open, when I try to open a new window using the Start menu, it will not open one. I have to use Ctrl+N. Why did this change?
This may seem insignificant but it really hampers my work flow. For one, with other applications, Shift+N is what opens a new window. For two, I've been doing with with my browsers for years now and it's like second nature for me - having to remember that in Firefox it's Ctrl+N is a pain in my tuccus.
Firefox is my go to browser and I would like it to stay that way. Please find the solution for me! I have tried looking using Tools, Options, as well as looking at my start menu and taskbar options, and no dice.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

How to pass value from new pop up window to the input field

Hi,
i have a F4 help on a input type field and adjacent to that two more input fields, on clicking the help on the first input field a new pop up window opens, the value in this pop up window is to be selected to give the value in that field and the other two values should be appeared in the input type. suppose the pop up window has three fields "15 LIMA PLANT 45802 ", so on clicking it in input field only 15 should go to the firstinput fields and "LIMA PLANT" and "45802" should go to new window
do anyone know this?

You need to uninstall the Community / Conduit toolbar add-on.
Locate the files in bold print and move them to the Trash. The first five are in your root /Library
/Library/Application Support/Conduit
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
/Library/ScriptingAddtions (anything CTLoader realted)
/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
The next one is in your Home folder.
~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
When you're done, try Safari.

I have some windows minimized. When I try to open up another window from the start menu, even the minimized windows open up.

When I first open up a window from the start menu, just one window opens up. But when others are at the bottom (minimized) and I go to open up a new window from the start menu, all the minimized windows open up, too.

That can a problem with the Ask<i></i>.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Pop-up windows are blocked even though I uncheck "Block pop-up windows" in the options.

In Facebook, when I try to launch the player to play all the songs Songs iLike, it does not work. Instead, an empty window opens up. Also in Windows Live, when I try to pop out my conversations, it just says "If your pop out window is blocked, check your browser settings." and the same empty window appears.

You may have another pop-up blocker on that PC, maybe as part of a security program.

Hi,
I am not sure where to post this thread, but here goes. My client has the CRM web UI which has been integrated into SAP Portal 7.3. I am not aware of how this is done as I am not familiar with CRM.
The issue being faced is that when a user tries to create a new opportunity etc, the pop-up window opens. But an address bar is seen in the pop-up. This was not appearing when they were on an earlier version of EP.
I am not sure where I should be looking to remove the address bar. Is this something related to the web UI and not the portal?

How to stop a pop up window if the session expires

I have a situation wherein i have my jsp page. in that i have a button on clicking it a pop up window will open to take a input parameter.
Now what we want is that if the session is not valid than the pop up shud not open.
Currrently what is happening wen the session is not valid the popup gets open and in that popup a login page is coming.
The logic for pop has been put in a javascript code which gets executed when the page was first loaded . So even if i put a logic for checking the session before the popup opens it wont work. So what can be a possible way i can do it?
I am writing a scriptlet to check the logic for valid session.

The code is working fine and blocking the popup. But I am not sure if this will be a correct fix.

I have a jsp page which contains a add button, while clicking it a popup will come out(which is a another jsp page). There are some input fieldsand a submit button. Now how could I send the data from the pop up to the parent winow. Also I have to check that if the pop up is open and I click add button then another pop up must not open.

I have a jsp page and the popup is also a jsp page the data that is passed from the popup window to the parent must be send to the server from the parent window to get a data from the data base as search result. Its of no use to get it as js data

A question about not having a pop up window for the hyperlink

Hello!
Now I am creating a hyperlink in my InDesign. After I transferred my indesign file into pdf and clicked on the link. There was always a pop up window asking me if I agree on going to this website or not. I don't want the people who recieved my ducument have this trouble. Is there a way for me to fix this? Thanks!

Well, you can relax... BOTH of the "infections" it lists ( a "Rootkit" and a "Trojan").... WON'T run on a Mac, so you KNOW it's a fake. There's NO WAY it could have detected WIndows malware on a system running OS X.
I'd stay away from that Facebook page, and report it to them.

I get a pop-up window saying my start-up disk is almost full. What kind of files am I supposed to delete? Have I used up the memory?

The rest of the message says I have to delete files.
Also, my iPhoto library is almost out of space...
should I be adding memory to my entire harddrive or, is

emptying the trash often is always good. Also, check your downloads folder to make sure that there isn't anything in there you can trash (most things are find to trash, if you don't want it or know what it is, throw it away)
emptying your cache (in Safari is the easiest) is a good idea too.
anything you put on the computer can be moved to an external drive or disk, just don't move system files (IE: Library, Preferences, Home, etc...)
