Pop Us Mesage for Customer Texts

Hi all,
The requirement is as below,
Customer wise want to maintain special instructions, to be flown sales order as a pop up message & at header text in S.O
Then while creating delivery & billing the same pop up message should appear.
For ex- the instruction can be like provide Test Certificate to customer.
Your inputs will be appreciated.

Hi,
Maintained Y-Text Should be displayed while copying at VOTXN for sales header,but same option is not available for Customer.
In CMR maintained the text,
While creating S.O the maintained text is not Popped Up.

Problems with customer text objects in ZDEBMAS definition

Hi
   We have a Z* version ( ZDEBMAS ) of std customer chg pointer msg type DEBMAS - this ZDEBMAS is a shortened version of DEBMAS
We notice that whenever customer related texts are changed in customer master, change pointer objects with CD class - CUSTTEXT, TABLE-STXH get generated for the DEBMAS msg type. No such change pointer data gets generated for my ZDEBMAS.
I do not see any CD class with 'CUSSTEXT' entry in the definition of DEBMAS message type -bd52.
I basically want to replicate the customer text data change pointer generation functionality for my 'ZDEBMAS' msg type too ? Any pointers so to what I am missing ?
We are at a very critical stage of implementing the Z* solution - any pointers will be rewarded right away ....

         Thanks for the quick response. Yes the change pointers are activated globally ( bd61 ) and the change pointer is activated for ZDEBMAS ( bd50 ). The problem here is that - change pointer data gets generated in ZDEBMAS for other customer related fields - the problem is with customer text fields - the change pointer data does not get generated for customer text fields in ZDEBMAS - whereas it gets generated for DEBMAS - I am wondering why and how ?? ( since DEBMAS does not have an explicity CUSTTEXT - object class in its definition ) . Also, when I try to add this object class as a part of ZDEBMAS , I get an error message that this object class does not exist

Having custom text for 'Actual' and 'Target' in Funne chart

Hi,
We see 'Actual' and 'Target' label values in funnel chart when we hover the mouse on the chart.
But i need to change the text to custom text for SINGLE graph. I dont want to chnage any xml or config files, I need this change in single report only.

Can you enter text into "info" pop-up window for TV Shows?

It's not a big deal, but I was just wondering if there is a way (a script perhaps) of entering text into the little "info" pop-up window for TV Shows in iTunes? (You know the one...it pops-up when you click on the little "i" in the description box on the TV Shows main playlist)
The show files I made myself have blank info windows of course and it would be nice to be able to enter a decent length description of the episode (the character limit in the "Description" box is so short).
Like I said, it's not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to enter info in there...so if anybody knows how...please let me know.

Allow Custom Text Entry for Drop down not working For Dynamic form

Dear All,
In drop down field Allow custom text entry is working fine if the form is save as a static pdf form file.But if the form is save as a Dynamic pdf form file it is not working.I can enter custom text in drop down field but after filling it up when I click on next field the text from the drop down is disappearing.
If any body can please help me to solve this problem.

Thanks a lot for your quick response.But it's not working for me.I have even tried with a form having only single field and save it as a dynamic pdf file.In that form also it's not working.The text which I have entered is disappearing when I click outside of this field.

Rich Text Editor Option for Custom Metadata

Hi,
We have created custom profiles for our clients. In one such profile which was created for news updates, client wants to have rich text editor in case of certain custom metadata fields such as description similar to comments.
As far i as i understand this can be achieved by creating region defintion which gives the option to create a web asset which can edited using site studio api. But is it possible to bring in rich text editor features for custom metadata fields in profiles ?

I'd suggest looking into the profile rule's "Use custom include" option.
You need to build the new control on your own, but you'll be able to plug it in via the "Use custom include" profile rule option. It's on the "Edit Rule Field" page.
You can also override the template, but I believe that's a lil' too hardcoded for best practices. This way, you can create a ckeditor textarea and apply it to any metadata you wish (of course, it's up to you to make sure the datatypes match).

Creating Text for Customer Master

There are custom Text id and description (eg. ZAFF 'Affiliate Note') to be created for each type of customer(Sold-to, Ship-to,Bill-to,Payer).
I am working on a inbound interface using custom function module, which is customized from IDOC_INPUT_DEBITOR. When the new customer will be created in SAP, how to create these text for each type of customer?
Any suggession will be helpful.

You can do this in the user exit for that customer based on the partner type by fetching the entry from Partner table like VBPA .
check the entry from here for the customer and based on the partner condition like SH BP PY SO u can populate the text .
you have to do this in teh user exit of that Inbound IDOC.

Text Migration for Customer Master ?

Hi all,
I am involved in the migration of the customer master and so have to migrate text sitting on the customer master.
Can somebody please provide me some help on this?
As a start off point I have a SAP Sandbox system from where I can see what all text is being maintained at the customer master level which i should be bringing on to the Production system. What tables can I look into to see all the text maintained for the customer master.
Help will be really appreciated.
We intend to use the standad idoc for migration.

Hi,
Jason is correct that you will need the READ_TEXT function if you want to either spot check some texts (use SE37 and READ_TEXT to view a sample of customers) or if you want to extract the data.
However, if for example during an extract or during an upload you merely wanted to check whether a customer had texts, you can check on table STXH. Each customer text (of one or multiple lines) will have one header record in table STXH. STXH does not allow you to see the data as Jason pointed out, but it does show whether it exists or not.
An easy way when dealing with long texts to fnd out the object, id and name of any text is to go into the text record intself in the display transaction (eg, XD03 for customer master) and in the menu path click Goto>Header. That will give you the header information for the text and allow you to see what you need to code into your ABAP program or LSMW.

Table for Texts for Customs Documents - Relation to /SAPSLL/CUHD or ..CUIT

I am looking for the table where the text for customs declaration is stored in.
E.g. when you write a remark or other text within a customs export declaration (on the text-tab) - in which database table is this text stored and how is the relation to /SAPSLL/CUHD or on item leve to /SAPSLL/CUIT?

i have just used simple traced transaction and it leads to STXH and STXL tables.
TDOBJECT: SLL_CUHD_C
I believe function module reads/translated the texts.
But this is probably only a beginning of investigation.

Looking for an application that can scroll custom text over video.

Hi, Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this - but here goes. In our school we have a display in the foyer that shows a looped quicktime video. I would very much like to scroll custom text with recent school related news in the forefront or things that parents and pupils should remember - kind of application that is always in the front - similar to the scrolling text news channels have along the bottom. Also possibly another app that would do similar thing but showing local weather. Does anybody have any suggestions. Thanks in hope.
