Popup boxes like form suggestions don't show up correctly. Why?

See the little blue thingy in the left bottom corner of the username input? That's what pops up, everything else is hidden.
When I start Firefox (4.b7) in Safe Mode, it works. I disabled all my Addons, but that didn't help. No idea what's causing this. Any help would be appreciated.

1) Open downloaded https://secure.logmein.com/activex/npRACtrl_ff3.xpi (this is zip-file, im using Winrar)
2) modify install.rdf: 3.6 -> 4.6
3) delete zigbert.rsa in /META-INF folder
4) Save all back
5) Install in Firefox 4

I currently have Abobe Reader X (10.1.2) on Windows 7 and I need to save a Word document currently in A3 as a PDF file to print in A4. For some documents I have no problem printing and all of the text, images, boxes, lines etc. all show up no problem, except for 2 documents where there is a problem. The document fits onto the screen perfectly.

Reader is unable to create PDF files. You must be using some other product, and therefore should post your question in that product's forums.

Form Guides don't show in Preview

I am trying to learn how to create form guides and have found that when I click the preview button, nothing but a blank template of the form guide appears. None of the text or graphics I have added appear. Can anyone provide any solutions?

How do I get back 'Don't Show Again' dialogue boxes?
In particular:
I've got an interactive form with a 'Submit via Email' button. Normally, when you select this button you get two options:
1. Send via desktop email application (e.g. outlook)
2. Send via other email applications (e.g. hotmail)
Previously I've selected the 'don't show again' check box which defaults to the second option.
Now I'd like to select the first option but don't know how to get this dialogue box to come up again. How is this done?

You can use "Edit => Preferences" and select the 'General' category, click on the 'Reset All Warnings' button, and click the 'OK' button to finish.

Forms 11g with Webutil don´t show in browser IE 9

I have a problem with Webutil. I installed th Oracle Forms/Reports 11g in Red Hat 5.5 x86_64, and when is necessary run a pure Forms, it´s works.
Now, when I will try run a Forms with Webutil, don´t show in browser IE 9 - Win 7 64bits - Java Plug-in 1.6.0_25 Using JRE version 1.6.0_25-b04 Java HotSpot(TM) Client.
What can be to show only a gray screen and dont show my Forms ? In java console don´t showed any error, neither in WLS_FORMS.log and forms-diagnost.log.

If you managed to get to the point where the applet container is created (the "gray square"), but the form never appears then you can assume one or more of the following has occurred:
1. The JRE crashed after startup. Many times, but not always, if such a crash occurs it will leave a JRE dump file on the desktop. Its content may help to identify the cause.
2. The Forms runtime crashed at startup. Many times, but not always, a Forms dump file will be created on the server. Its content may help to identify the cause.
3. The Forms runtime was unable to start at all. This can occur on unix systems when/if there is a resource or permissions issue. One of the more common causes is if the file descriptor (nofiles) value is set too low.
4. The applet is actually running, but has attempted to display a dialog box and is awaiting your acknowledgement, but the box was wrongfully sent to the background behind the browser. A similar issue was reported in one of the JRE 1.6.0_xx series, however I don't recall which one. Uninstall your current version and install the latest which is 1.6.0_27
There are other possibilities, but these are most common.
I would recommend the following:
1. Uninstall any JRE older than 1.6.0_27. Reboot. Install 1.6.0_27
2. Set networkRetries=5 in formsweb.cfg
3. Set FORMS_TIMEOUT to 15 (default). Setting to a high value as you have is not recommended and is rarely necessary.
4. Verify that the test form works. For example:

5. It appears that you are trying to use WU_TEST_106.fmx. Instead, download an updated version of this file (the name has also changed)

6. Ensure that you have compiled webutil.pll into .plx. Do not use an old version of this file. The installation will include one. If not, check for it in an installation that also includes the Builders.

Have a form but don't want users to see blue boxes for form fields.

Is there a way to set form fields so the blue boxes don't show when they open the PDF but the field remain active? When I save and open it on my computer, I don't see the fields. However, when I send it as an attachment, others see the fields. Does it matter if the user has Adobe Reader vs. Adobe Acrobat?

This is a setting of the application, whether or not to have form fields
highlight, not of your file.

I have a 3rd generation ipod nano. I recently upgraded to Lion which is causing lots of issues. Aside from that, I went to the Itunes store to purchase books like I have done at least 100 times before with no problems. Now I can by the book and get it to my computer, however when I tried to download the book to my 3rd generation ipod the dialog box informed me that to download any new audiobook purchases I would need an ipod touch. My ipod nano 3rd generation serves my purposes just fine. Why should I be forced to buy something I do not want just to continue something I have always done seamlessly? I know this is more of a rant than a question but I am sure someone else out there has had this happen to them. Maybe you could share your thoughts on how to work around this issue if possible?

I forgot to add the last obvious and crucial step I had taken - plugging a different iPod into my system. It was also not recognized. That was the final proof I needed to determine if the problem was device or system. But now what?

Text files don't show on fillable form after saving on a mac

I have a fillable form with text and check fileds on it, if a user filles it on a windows pc and saves it all works fine, but if a user does the same thing on a MAC then the text fields don't show.

Avoid touching any PDF (in particular any PDF form file) with Preview.

How to get back box : "Don't show this message again".

At some point, I have clicked "yes" on a box that said "Don't show this message again". It was by deleting tracks from iTunes library.
Now I want "my box" back. How can I fix that?

I'm guessing your problem is caused by code validation errors: orphaned division tags for example, or mismatched code and document type (i.e. XHTML /> mixed with HTML > style closures).
Start by using the code validation tools below and fix any reported. You'll need an Internet connection for this:

Video clips don't show up - just a box with a red X

Still images show up fine but video clips brough in either directly or using Send To Color from within FCP don't show up:
1. When I use import it won't bring the clip in at all
2. When I use FCP to send to color it just shows a red square box with a red X through it.

BTW, the clip is a 720x486 D1 Motion JPEG A clip - 5 seconds long @29.97fps. Also, still images don't open - guess they are not supported? Could the Motion JPEG A also be an unsupported format?

Emails that I've sent don't show in the "sent" box and I can't attach a "sent" sound

Emails that I've sent on my ipad don't show in the "sent" box. Also, I can't attach a sound to sent emails.

I have been having the same problem.
Since August 3, Mail has not received any new messages from my hotmail account. Up until August 3, Mail has been performing flawlessly for years, handling three different email accounts [two of the accounts were disabled in Mail a few months ago].
I have the "Activity" window [Window>Activity] in Mail open. The activity window clearly shows that Mail is "Preparing to retrieve messages". But nothing is retrieved. And when I go to my email via web browser, it clearly shows that I have received email messages since August 3.
And the Connection Doctor in Mail [Window>Connection Doctor] clearly shows a green light for my hotmail/Outlook account.
I have no clue what is happening.
Just for giggles, I enabled my other other email accounts. Both retrieved emails flawlessly. Maybe Hotmail/Outlook has changed some of its security settings???
