Popup call changes ToC highlight.

Using RH8 HTML under XP to generate CHM. No source control, no network drives.
In a project I have the settings:
SingleSourceLayouts>HTMLHelp>Properties>Advanced>TOCstyles>AlwaysShowSelection
Project>Windows>Properties>AutoSynchronizeToC
These settings mean that the user can always see his position highlighted in the ToC.
The ToC contains several books, each containing several topics; some topics are included in several books. Various topics call other topics as popups. The popup topics are not in any ToC.
When the user displays one of the popups, the ToC resynchronises (in my test project) to the _next_ ToC entry; thus from BookA Topic 1 to BookB Topic 1, from BookB to BookC. BookC behaves properly (but this would probably change if I created BookD). Regular links, browse sequences and the Back button are also `unstable' with respect to ToC synchronisation.
I'm no guru but I could see nothing special in the HTM, HHP and HHC files.
My test project is 810kB zipped and contains no sensitive information.
Has anyone advice or tips?

I selected a Binary ToC
and that helped considerably. The highlight now remains during a popup, but calling a topic via a regular hyperlink always highlights the _first_ entry in the ToC. Unfortunately I read somewhere that you can't use a Binary ToC with merged CHMs. S-I-G-H ! ! ! (or does somebody know a workaround?)

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
If you have many extensions then you can first enable half of the extensions to test which half has the problem.
Continue to divide the bad half that still has the issue until you find which one is causing it.

Warning Popup - Uncommited Changes (Struts/UIX)

In the JHeadstart demo, if you have created a new record or edited information and attempt to navigate away from the page before committing, a popup appears warning you of this.
If you disregard, nothing is updated/inserted, and you can continue on.
Is their a way to implement this in Struts/UIX simply?

I do not believe there is a declarative way to do it, i wish there were. Anyway, my team managed to do by using Java Script event (on-click , on whatever) then the java script can call functions embedded in the data action methodes. One of the functions you create should be one that tests the status of the transaction using getPoststate()==STATE_MODIFIED etc ...
Then the java script could display a popup warning

(In the code below, specifically the {'event':'Change'} says that an 'event' called 'Change' is generated)
You should write OnChange event to handle 'Change'

For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud."

Well, it might depend on the nationality of your keyboard, but on my US keyboard, the tilde ("squiggle") is above the TAB key; on a Mac, ⌘-TAB cycles through the active applications and ⌘-tilde cycles through the windows in the front application.
When you do a Find, Pages selects an instance of your search text (the next one after the current selection, I think, but I didn't check that). It doesn't make the document window the front window, though. If you click in the window to bring it to the front, it moves the selection (or insertion point) to wherever you click unless you click on or above the ruler. Try clicking at the top of the document window after you do a find; say somewhere near the document name. Now you should see the highlighted selection (your search text). If you click back on the Find window, the selection will go grey again, unless you hold ⌘ down while clicking.

I would open up the grid spacing slightly so everything does not run together. In System Preferences > General, try setting Highlight color: Red. This won't change the grey selection background around the icon, but it will turn the background behind the icon text to red. That stands out. However, the collateral effect is that text you select in this editor, and other OS X applications, will now have a red background too. Changing colors will require a killall Finder in the Terminal. Actually set mine to #ffff00 which is a vivid yellow, which is more practical when selecting text in a document.

Yes, you can change existing highlight color also.
For this, go to 'Comment List' on the right hand side and select any one comment.
Now, press 'cmd+A' to select all the comments in the list and then 'control click' to choose 'Properties' from the pop down.
Choose highlight color as desired from 'Highlight Properties' dialog box.

When I'm working on my document in Pages, I often do a Search (command-F) to quickly find a word or phrase that appears somewhere else in the document. It works great, but it highlights the word/phrase in light gray, which I have trouble seeing. Is there a way to change the highlight color to yellow, or any other color, making the word/phrase easier to see?

Changing the highlight color of a JMenuBar

I'm trying to change the highlight color of a JMenuBar. I�m using the METAL lookandfeel which by default highlights with a purple color. I would also like to know how its done on a JTable, I assume it is quite similar.

Can You Change the Highlighted Button in the Find Font Palette?

I have several hundred spreads that I converted from Quark to InDesign CC and a few fonts are missing, so I need to replace them. I can use the "Find/Replace" window to take care of most of them using the "find format" function, but one doesn't show up as a choice, so I have to change it using the Find Font palette. I select the missing font name and then select the replacement. Then, if I hit the "enter" button on the keyboard, the palette closes because the highlighted button is the "Done" button. Is there a way to change the highlighted button to the "Change All" one?

Thanks for the reply. I tried using the tab key and although it does change the highlighted button, you can't just press "enter" to select it. I also tried ALT+A (option+A) and it did nothing. I should have mentioned that I'm using a Mac.

Do you mean the "Categorize" amnu? If so, simply click on "new" and then "add color" to be presented with the Apple color wheel.

i.e: it calls the last function in the select statement at the beginning

the Tables EMP and EMP2 are two tables defined in the same schema.

Your "thinking" is wrong here. You can not use the column order to model your program flow. As SQL is set/tupel based, there is no given sequence of the execution order. Otoh you want to have a specific order in wich your functions must be executed otherwise the result will be wrong (or undefined). Thus here you need a procedural approach. This can be done by using PL/SQL for example.
You would code your functions in that way, that they are working correctly independent from the place where they are called ie if function1 needs the setvalues function, this function must be called inside the function1 then.
Are you sure you need all these functions in this procedural approach inside the sql-statement? This is mostly not needed and can be accomplished by using pure SQL. If not, may be your design is broken.
