Popup message in the middle of a method

Hi,
In method A exists method B which is used to popup a message window but the message didn't show until the end of method A. The message window should be displayed only after the process of part of method A not at the end of method A.

Why do you want to customize the importing parameters?
The method SUBSCRIBE_TO_BUTON_EVENT is used to bind the popup window's BUTTON to an action on a view.

Can you see the defaulttrace file for more details?
Open up Visual Administrator and go to Log Viewer. Then open up the Defaulttrace file. Generate the same error message and look in the file for more details.
What do you see?
And of course.. What did you do to make this error ?

I am getting a message in the middle of my imac screen instructing me to hold down the on-off button and turn off the machine. The message is in several foreign languages beside english, and there is not way to get rid of it. The curser is inactive.

The message is in several languages and completely takes over the computer disabling the mouse and all other functions. The only option is to unplug the computer or turn it off. I'm concerned that this is a virus. It does not look like it's related to Apple or the imac OS.

That sounds like a kernel panic. These are generally hardware related, often caused by poorly seated or fauly RAM.

How do I show and hide a popup message by the program

Hi,
I've the following problem. Sometime the program must wait to open a seriel port. On slow machines, this could take some seconds.
During this time I'll display a popup message with the message "please, be patient....".
After the port is open, the message should be hide by the program.
JOptionPane could be good, but without a "OK" button. Everthing should be controlled by the program.
I would implement the Runnable interface for the showing of the popup message.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You can use a JDialog... this will act like JOptionPane, but you can put on it whatever components you like... so no OK button!
For example:
JDialog dialog = new JDialog(parentFrame);
dialog.add(new JLabel("Please be patient", BorderLayout.CENTER);
dialog.pack();
dialog.setLocation(100,100);
dialog.setVisible(true);
dialog.setVisible(false);

IPhone 3G stops receiving text messages in the middle of a conversation

My iPhone 3G 3.1.2 frequently stops receiving text messages in the middle of a back-and-forth texting conversation. No other function on the phone seems to be interrupted, because I usually just continue using other apps before I realize it's been 10 minutes since the other person last replied.
I can receive the messages by turning the phone off and on (once I realize what's going on), but this is such a hassle, especially because I can waste 15 minutes of another person's time in the process. Interestingly, once I turn the phone back on, I receive the messages and they tell me they were received at the earlier time (ie., if I was previously texting at 1:53, it might say 1:55, even though nothing showed up AT 1:55). So it seems like the phone receives the text and knows that it did, but for some reason doesn't display it or notify me at the time.
I've seen similar threads in this forum to this problem, but they all seem to be accompanied by other malfunctions, which this is not.

Retrieve message at the middle of the MQ

I'm a beginner in JMS and I've a quick question here. I would like to see how to retrieve a message at the middle of the queue. Gone thru the JMS API the two classes to retrieve messages are QueueReceiver and QueueBrowser. It looks to me QueueReceiver retrieves message only at the end, and QueueBrowser enable examing messages in the queue but does't retrieve them at all.
Any idea or suggestionis highly apperciated.

Browse the queue to find the message you want to consume, then create a consumer with the selector
"JMSMessageID = foo
and you should get the message you asked for (if another thread didn't grab it)

Bottom bar for text messages in the middle of screen?!

The email and text message screen has a bar at the bottom for composing emails, searching, forwarding, replying, and deleting. However, this bar moved all the way up to the middle of the screen. As a result, the view of my message is limited to the upper part of the screen and there is a large white space underneath the bar. How do i fix this?!?!?!?!

Why the Emergency Broadcast message in the middle of Lost finale?

Who on earth decided to have an emergency broadcast alert in the middle of the Lost finale--especially at a part when minutes of a conversation was lost? Whoever pushed the button on this, needs to be fired.

I always get an error message in the middle of writing mail if I pause.

While composing a message, in the background Mail temporarily saves the message in the account's Drafts mailbox.
What type of account is this - .Mac, IMAP or POP?
If a .Mac type or IMAP account, are you storing Drafts on the server and if so, any reason you need to do so?
If yes to the first and no to the second, deselect store Drafts on the server under the Mailbox Behaviors tab for the account preferences which should resolve it.

I opened a new document and a popup messages says; "The document could not be autosaved." Pages won't allow me to manually save or duplicate document. What's up?

I opened a new document in Pages 5.2 and a Pop up message appears; "the document could not be autosaved." First time I have seen this. Went to manually save the docement and another message appears; "the document "Untitled" could not be saved as "Project Portfolio" [my document title]. Then, Pages would not let me duplicate the document.
I suspect something may be missing and I need to reload Pages. Is there another way?

Your scummy Firefox hangs when it arbitrarily decides to update its version. Why not have it send a popup message warning the user so they can close gracefully and safe their work?

1) This site sucks beyond belief. I tried to click on the "About" button to findthe current version of Firefox and couldn't find it.
When I came back here, the text I had entered in this window had vanished.
LEARN HOW TO F*CKING PROGRAM.
2) The *original* problem was that I was surfing and suddenly the whole computer went very slow, with Firefox altogether unresponsive. I lost some work. WHY DON'T YOU WARN THE USER AND ALLOW THEM TO CHOOSE WHEN TO INSTALL UPDATES?

Have you considered the Flash update which was released a few days before the Firefox 3.6.14 update may be a big part of this problem?
Try re-installing the 10.1 r102 version of Flash and see how it Firefox is.

Popup message is not showing from vbs file - SCCM 2012 Package

Hi,
I am deploying a package that needs the outlook should be closed prior to install. For that, we have included popup message in the vbs script(setup.vbs) file. When deploying the package via SCCM(using package deployment method), the popup message is not appearing
but it is working when we run the script file manually. i have modified SCCM program setting but no luck.
Could you advise what setting needs to be changed in SCCM Program & deployment?

Running it with user rights might cause an issue with installing it, as the user might not have the appropriate permissions. You should be able to run it with administrative rights and select
Allow users to interact with this program. That way the user should still be able to interact with the program messages.
