Porblem with MessageRadioButton when using PPR Event on it.

Hi,
I have a Requirement where there are two MessageRadioButton
when the 1st MessageRadioButton is selected One item should be Mandatory and
when the 2nd MessageRadioButton is selected another item should be Mandatory.
The Problem I am facing is when I select the 2nd item and going back to select the 1st item the selection is not getting changed.
Can anybody help me how can I resolve this issue

Please put the value for checked and unchecked for both radio buttons.What i mean to say if there are two radio button say male or female.So put M for male as checked value and F for female as checked value.

Error when using PPR in the OA page developed.

HI,
We are encountering an error when using PPR for the custom OA page being developed. I am using JDeveloper version 9.0.3.5(Build 1437) and Oracle Applications version 11.5.10.CU2. The scenario we are using PPR and the steps to reproduce the issue is mentioned below,
Scenario:
1) PPR is enabled for a custom OA page that is developed.
2) The PPR is being used to enable or disable a particular field based on the
selection of a value in a poplist in the same OA Page.
Error replication steps:
1) The user enters a value in the primary mandatory field which has to have
unique value.
2) The user selects a value from the poplist of a field which has PPR associated.
3) The user enters data in all other mandatory fields in the OA page except one
and tries to save the form and is shown a error message saying that all
mandatory fields are not entered(This is correct). Now the page gets
automatically refreshed and so the entered values are wiped off.
4) Now if the user again enters a value in the primary mandatory field (as in
step1) and if that value happens to be already existing value and then select
a value from the poplist which has PPR enabled then immediately the error
"Please enter a unique value" is entered, though we did not save the record.
The unique record validation would happen only at the time of saving the
record as per out business logic.
5) But if in Step 4 if i had entered a unique value again then the above said error
does not happen. There are few more similar kind of issues happening in the
same page because PPR is enabled.
Please note that this issue happens only when the page is deployed in a oracle
applications instance and not in JDeveloper.
Would this issue because of some cacheing problem? If Yes then how do we resolve it? Or would it be some other problem caused by our internal coding.
Any inputs for resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.

What works in Jdeveloper should work when deployed in iAS as well.
And PPR is an old feature given quite enough time to mature, so before we suspect OA we should investigate the code. What I do not understand is how the page refreshes in Step 3 and why does the user have to re-enter the fields just because he missed entering one mandatory field the last time.
Mandatory field validations are client validations set by making the fields 'Required'. You obviously have client validations turned off on your PPR, otherwise you would be stuck with a javascript popup on PPR. The only way you can get the "Please enter unique..." error on PPR is Server Validation. So where have you placed this validation? If it is not in the EO, is it in the AM? And are you unconditionally calling the AM validation method in your processFormRequest? The PPR will also go through processFormRequest so I hope the PPR event is in a different if-else block.

Problem with SDO_relate when using polygons with holes.

I'm having a problem with sdo_relate. I'm trying to extract all elements from a point table (bdtq_batim_p) that are inside a specific polygon from another table (SDA_MUNIC_SS). The spatial index for both table have been rebuilt and the data from both table is valid.
When I do a count on the query, I know the answer should be 1422 elements (Counted in ArcGIS). However, sdo_relate gives a smaller number of elements in the result set.
The query :
SELECT count(distinct t.identifiant) FROM bdtq_batim_p t, SDA_MUNIC_SS s WHERE s.mus_co_geo = '48015' and sdo_relate( t.SHAPE,s.SHAPE,'mask=anyinteract querytype=window') = 'TRUE'
returns 282 elements. The query with mask=inside, SDO_Anyinteract() and SDO_inside() all give the same result.
I did a test with the following query and the result is 1422 (which is the good result).
SELECT count(distinct t.identifiant) FROM bdtq_batim_p t, SDA_MUNIC_SS s WHERE s.mus_co_geo = '48015' and SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE( t.SHAPE,s.SHAPE,'distance=0') = 'TRUE';
It's important to note that the polygone (from SDA_MUNIC_SS) that is used for this query have holes in it. I have the same problem with all the polygons from the SDA_MUNIC_SS table that have holes in it. For the polygon without holes, the results are the same for the 2 queries.
My question are :
Why are the result from the two queries different? A query with a buffer of 0 should always return the same result as a query with Anyinteract.
Is there a known problem with SDO_RELATE when using a polygon with holes in it?
Do you have any idea how to solve my problem.

Since i don't have much control on the version of Oracle and Patches that we use in the system, we used a workaround that detects the polygons with holes and uses the SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE( t.SHAPE,s.SHAPE,'distance=0') = 'TRUE' operator in those case. We saw a slight decline in performance but it now returns the right results. When the system will be patched, we'll come back to the original version and see if the problem is solved.

If DL is not working properly for you the way around this is to export from Premiere to either mpeg2-dvd for DVD or BluRay H.264 for BD-disks and import the files in Encore.

Problems with keywords when using 2 directories.

Pardon my french, I'm Norwegian... ;-)
I have LR3.6 and have a folder structure I'm pleased with, I also use keywords on the images.
I want one directory with B/W and one in color, in order to work in a directory where only B/W images appear. I think it's easier to see the images that work in B/W this way...
I have copied the LRCAT file into a new folder. When I open LR I choose the directory to be loaded, B/W or Color. This works OK. When importing new pictures I copy images into the desired directory (eg. Colors?) with the Default Develop settings. When I use the B/W directory I sync the Color directory with the B/W Default Develop settings.
I've imported the same Keyword list in both directories, but the problem is that the keywords are not included on the pictures when I sync. The images have the same filename so it should be possible to retrieve / sync keywords as well?
Is there anyone out there who can help me, either with another solution where I do not need 2 directories or how I can import keywords to the other directory?

Problem with Snooze when two calendar event pop up

When two calendar event pop up at the same time in notification and you press snooze a couple of time on both of them. Eventualy one of them wont pop up again in notification.

Problems with COLOUR when using "save as".

Running on Mac, get dulled out and purple colour tone when using "Save As". When using "Save for Web.." colours are OK. Colour profiles and images coming into Raw are set as sRGB. Can anyone help?? I do have to convert to 8 bit to save as JPG. Any help appreciated.

The Print version is what a ProPhoto file looks like when viewed as if it was sRGB - i.e. in a non-color managed application. So there's still a ProPhoto profile here.
Here you can see how the colors shift by going between sRGB and ProPhoto (using assign and/or convert). Your original is in the middle. You can see it's the very same color shift:
If you convert to sRGB and you still get the same outcome, which you shouldn't, maybe the preferences are corrupt. Or maybe user error and you still have ProPhoto embedded.

JTextPane: scroll with wheel when using addMouseWheelListener()

Hello! I have JTextPane with code (code editor) with busy mouseWheelListener() which is used to increase/decrease font size when Ctrl key is hold. I think I overwrite default wheelListener behavior, so it is impossible to scroll text with a wheel. How can I do that?

6601 output counter when use Simple event Counting Mode

I want to put the ouput counter in a high, while I count event. How to do that with set attribute?

It looks like you want this vi to count events until you reach some specified target value ('Pulsos'), then stop the counter. It sounds like you'd like the counter's output to toggle high the instant you start counting and toggle low as soon as a certain count is reached.
First off, I'm pretty sure you can't get hardware-timed behavior quite like that. That being said, your posted example appears to rely on software timing anyway -- attempting to call 'Counter Set Attribute' to toggle the output. Soooooo.... why not simply use a digital bit that you can also software time to turn on and off?
Here's a small modification of your example that toggles a digital bit high when the counter is started and toggles low when your target count is re
ached. In your real application, some of the config should probably be done outside this vi, but this'll give you the general idea.

We have a replicated table using the following index:

If I force the set of primary keys to be only the NOT NULL fields, I can successfully apply the error, but since we may have them storing both NULL and NOT NULL values, this is not a solution.
I'm wondering why the DB on one hand converts the empty string in a NULL while inserting, but it looks the Apply process onStandby is not able to do the same when looking for the record before applying the transaction.

Porblems with built application, using wordsub.llb

I am trying to compile a Vi that uses the New Report.vi to create a test datasheet. When I run the Vi in development mode, it works ok. When I run it after using the "build application" fucntion, the vi gives an error (Code 7). The description for the error says something about the "open vi reference". I believe the error has something to do with the "word" related vi's that are contained in the wordsub.llb.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Are you using LabVIEW 8.0 or later? If so, the instructions for building an executable are incorrect...they state that you must add _wordsub.llb as a Support File, but you should actually add _wordsub.llb\Word Dynamic VIs.vi as a Dynamic VI when building the executable. Also, if you are calling any Excel-specific VIs, you would need to add _excelsub.llb\Excel Dynamic VIs.vi as a Dynamic VI as well.
Try this out and see if it works...we are planning on changing the documentation for the toolkit for the next release to indicate the different steps you need to take for building an executable with Report Generation Toolkit VIs in LabVIEW 8.0 versus previous versions.

Cannot connect to the Internet with browser when using VPN

I am experiencing an odd network problem and am hoping that someone on this list has seen something similar and can help me isolate the cause.
I have a Mac Pro running Mac OS X (10.5.8) and use Cisco's VPNClient to connect to my employer's network. Some time in the last year I started getting this odd behavior wherein that while connected via VPN, I cannot open external web pages in Safari (Version 5.0 (5533.16)). When this happens I get the following message:
+Safari can't open the page "http://www.google.com/" because your computer isn't connected to the Internet.+
Web pages on the company's internal network work fine. Firefox exhibits the same problem. However, the very odd thing (to me), is that I can get to the Internet using the browser in NetNewsWire. Other services (like twitter) also seem to work fine.
The problem is intermittent and occurs between restarts. After some restarts the problem is not there. Also, connecting and re-connecting via VPNClient does not affect the behavior. If access to the Internet is working then it will continue working, at least until the next restart. If I restart for whatever reason (software update, etc.) the next time it may or may not work.
This has been going on over several updates to Mac OS X and Safari.
Another clue is that my MacBook, also running 10.5.8 works fine when connected from the same home network so I am pretty sure the problem is with my Mac Pro.
Anyone out there have any idea what could be causing this and how to go about fixing the problem?

I couldn't fix it, and the Earthlink technician couldn't fix it...until she checked and found that the starting address: "www.my.earthlink.net" is down. In fact, it's still down, so I'll just continue using Foxfire for awhile. I can connect by typing "www.earthlink.net" in the addres bar, but it's so much easier to just click on Foxfire in my dock. This shows the value of having a spare browser.
I'm going to mark it "solved. Thanks for your help, It was a bit technical for me, but I tried. I had to, having just sent an article about the value of persistence to a friend, how could I fail to persevere?

Problem with gui_download when using DBF FILE type.

Good Day Experts.
I am trying to download excel file using function module GUI_DOWNLOAD.
declared a table it_string type table string.
initially I appending my header to it_string. and then passing my internal table to it .
this is how I am passing data into it_string.
so in gui_download I am passing parameters as below. but I am not getting data into the excel file.
I tried both ways passing field separator as 'X' and '#'.
please guide me where I am wrong.
