Hola, tengo un IPAD2 que necesito sincronizarlo en mi nueva MAC. Mi miedo es perder la musica y las apps(algunas con videos) que tengo en el IPAD.

[email protected]You need to transfer the purchases from the iPad to the iTunes library on your Mac.
Without connecting your iPad to your Mac, launch iTunes. From the iTunes menu go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
Now connect your iPad to your Mac and start iTunes.
When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases. this will put all of your purchased content into iTunes on the Mac.
If you do use the auto sync feature with iTunes, When you are done, you can turn auto sync back on again by going to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and uncheck the box at the bottom - Prevent iPods, .... from automatically syncing.

I currently have an Ipod Touch and Ipad 2 wi-fi that were linked to my wifes account on her computer, she has an Iphone 4, Ipad 2 wi-fi + 3G and an Ipod touch.
Over the years we have combined our joint music collections on to 1 itunes account - Silly Me! I now need to change the arrangement so that I am able to log in to my new Itunes account, using my own computer without loosing any of my music, films and apps etc. Anybody got any solutions as I have tried to back up, open a new account etc and then sync and GUESS WHAT? everything disappears. music, films, apps etc. PLEASE HELPI'm afraid you can't do that on iOS devices. Any purchases that were done using the single account, in this case your wife's, can only be used if you continue to log in to the same iTunes account. If you now want to use your own separate account you will need to re-purchase any of the apps or media you want to use using your own separate account. Only iTunes on a computer can be authorized to use more than one account.
Most families use one account for purchases for the very reason that they want to collectively share all the apps and media purchases. It saves money by not having to make separate purchases of the same things for each account.
Hopefully, in the future, Apple will allow people to consolidate two or more accounts in to one so that purchases made on separate accounts will be able to be shared amongst those people. -

I was updating my software on my iphone 4 and it crashed so it recovered it and i restored it from its back up. However I have lost all my music and my apps but not my pictures. How can i get my music back. I did not remove my phone from the computer until it had said it had finsihed.
Media and apps are not part of the backup. They need to be re-synced from your itunes library or re-downloaded from the store.

Thanks for answerIf you go to Apple, they will not replace your battery, but exchange your iPod for a refurbished iPod of the same model with a new battery. Therefore you will lose everything that is not backed up. If you change it yourself or have a third party change it, you will most likely not lose anything (but still best to make a backup as lllaass suggested).

i bought an ipod touch at a pawn shop and it has account and registered to another person on it and i don't know the password. and i started my own itunes account on the computer and when i connect the ipod to the computer the other persons account shows up to be synced to the computer and when i hit the sync button it says that the ipod can only be synced to one library at a time. then it says that it would erase his library contents and all other apps in order for it to be synced to my account. so i was wondering if there is anyway to sync all the music and other apps to my account with out it erasing everything on the ipod.
Do what iTunes is telling you to do. Wehn you purchased the iPod the apps and other media do not transfer to you. Then are permently locked/lienced only to the person who purchased them. Using the stuff on the iPod is stealing.
