Eu também estou com este problema! Em Julho de 2012 comprei um aparelho da Apple Iphone 4s e ontem do nada a função wifi esta desativada, simplesmente não consigo ativar a função (está na cor cinza como bloqueada). Pesquisei na internet sobre o assunto e vi que isso não é raro de acontecer e muitos estão reclamando, não adianta redefinir a rede do aparelho, nem ligar ou desligar. .. nada da certo!!
Pelos comentários de muitos consumidores no próprio site do suporte da apple, a solução é levar na assistência técnica, pois não existe outro jeito.
Agora a minha indignação é: como você compra um aparelho que possui um custo elevado e uma função do nada simplesmente para de funcionar. Como a minha garantia acabou mês passado eu devo pagar R$500,00 a R$1.000,00 pelo concerto.
Adquiri o aparelho a 1 ano e 1 mês e os casos prescritos no site em realçao ao problema recorreu depois que a garantia acabou.. muitos colocam a culpa no hardware outros dizem que não é. A apple não se prontifica.
E ai?
Não foi culpa minha, pois tenho muito cuidado com o aparelho até porque me custou caro e achei que valia a pena pagar pela credibilidade da marca.
E agora tenho que arcar com isso?
Isso não é justo!!!
Espero que postar a minha indignação como consumidora resolva alguma coisa.

When I was done my wife's iphone had my daughter's ipod info on it and I can't find my wife's info on icloud anywhere. My wife has about 6 years of business contacts on her iphone so she is rather upset. Is there a way to recover her contacts?

You don't have to wipe anything, but when you get a chance make sure you backed up to icloud.
What that means is your contacts inside of the phone either physically or liquid damaged. To check
which, you can look inside and if you see a little pink, that would give you a water damage. If you don't
see pink it means that you to many times plugged in that charger the other way or tried to. May be
used some other things to plug in. If you flash the light in you may be able to see those contacts.

Just out of warranty. This is a software issue. everything was ok until the software update. Apple just need to sort it out.

Welcome, sorry to hear your news, there are numerous threads on this issue. Try the trouble shooting on the other threads, I do not recommend sticking it in the freezer or heating with a hair dryer though,
If it's within warranty and trouble shooting doesn't work, get it. Ack to apple ASAP and get it replaced.
Many others are in the same position, who also have a 4s

The way to keep the photos from downloading to your wife's phone would be for her to go to Settings > iCloud > Photos > and turn off iCloud Photo Library. You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

You can create a new Apple ID by going to Settings / iTunes & Apps and create new account. Even if she creates a new account, she can still see the content she has for music or apps downloaded on phone currently, though if updating apps, she'll need to enter in your Apple ID and password because it was bought through yours.
Though for any free apps you've downloaded, just redownload with new account you create but anything you bought, you'd have to rebuy because it wasnt through the new account.

You would each need to use your own user account on the Mac, you can do this at system preferences > users & groups.

I just setup mine and my wife's iphone 4 on new ios5 and icloud settings. Our phones are both on my account. Her phone is receiving my contacts, calendars, etc. due to this. Is there a way I can separate her phone from my account in itunes and icloud?

Now that we are set up on icloud settings, her phone is receiving my calendars, contacts, etc. she does not want and does not need any of these items on her phone. How can I separate the two now? is there a way to have a different login and password for her phone so that it sets up on its own icloud settings?

She should create her own Apple ID and start using it for everything, including purchasing.
It starts on the computer in iTunes. There are 2 elements we are dealing with;
purchasing items from iTunes (apps, music) and playing items in iTunes.
Only one Apple ID can be signed in at a time for purchasing. But you can "authorize" multiple Apple IDs for playing. As long as iTunes is "authorized" with both your Apple IDs, items purchased with these different accounts can coexhist in one iTunes Library.
Why this is important, it has to do with back up and being able to transfer purchased items to the computer.
Once your wife sets up her own account, she will want to connect the iPhone to the computer to back it up and transfer any new purchases, iTunes will need to be authorized for that to happen.
With that said, a new feature of iColud is back up. It will back up everything to the cloud. You need to turn it on, it's at the bottom of the iCloud settings on the iPhone. It is limited to 5GB for free, you can buy more. I used all 5GB my first back up, but I have a lot of crap, and there's a lot of things on the iPhone that get backed up that don't count against the 5GB, so it might be plenty of space for you.
When it comes to the iCloud and contacts/calendars, again your wife needs her own account. (ASAP) Does she have a computer in her life that has a list of her contacts and calendars. I hope so, because it sounds like her contacts on her iPhone are now mixed with yours. Or I hope there is still an untouched list of contacts on the iPhone that iCloud didn't mix. Either way Delete your iCloud account from her iPhone. Remove the data, as long as it isn't hers. This will delete all info being synced to the cloud. If she still has a list of her old contacts on the iPhone, great. If not, I hope she has them somewhere else, like her own computer.
Create her an iCloud account. Enter the account info where ever there is a list of contacts/calendars and get the info onto the cloud, then add the iCloud settings to any other devices.
Any new apps/music purchased with her account will back up to the cloud. I don't think apps purchased with your account will. She will also need to enter your password for updating these apps, because they were purchased with your account.
