Porque mi iphone no se activa?
despues de actualizar el iphone 3g no se activa y siempre me pide intentarlo de nuevo como resuelvo esto?
No enciende, no hace nada?
Esta cargado?
Recuerda que debes cargarlo ccn el adaptador de pared si esta totalmente descargado.
Si es en una pc, de ser un puerto usb que tenga energia a veces son solo para leer o conectar aparatos pero no tienen carga, si lo estas cargando en una mac que sea directamente de una entrada del mac, no uses las que tiene el teclado.
Si tiene carga completa y no enciende , presiona el boton de home y el de power al mismo tiempo por diez segundos hasta que se reinicie ( sale la manzanita) espero te sirva...

Not a good sign. Try forcing the phone into recovery mode & restoring it. If this fails, make an appointment at an Apple store:

C Apple, i need to know few things,first of all i shall tell my scenario. I got an iphone 3gs from my uncle in US..after long waiting. I try searching internet and all for solutn...but no one knw about it..but there are...some one me abt method called jailbreaking ..rednw..white snw ..ultrasnw and all...I dnt knw why it is so complicated to troublesht...apple is suppose to be simple and friendly.

In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple. -
iphone is dead, gone to insurance co. for replacement. They say because "Find My iPhone" is still active, they can't replace or try to fix it. problem is can't log in to de-activate it, cos email account does not exist anymore. How can I de-activate it?

Your AppleID & Password for iCloud& iPhone should be the same AppleID &Password you used to log in here and post a message.

iphone 3gs shows activation required, hooked up to iTunes and it is not recognized. Did the restore but just gets to the end and gives an error message it could not be restored, an unknown error occurred (-1). Can someone assist me in next steps please?
Instructions to get the phone back working temporary.. till there is a real fix.
1. turn off the phone
2. fire up iTunes
3. press and hold the home button, plug in the cable, hold till you get to see the recovery mode
4. iTunes will the allow to choose restore the phone back to 5.0.1 ( no other choice)
5. iTunes will then ask you to choose which previous backup to would like to recover.
(note: please do not reboot your phone unless necessary, i realize at times after reboot, it goes back to sq1) -

my iphone 3gs is in recovery mode how do i activate it please help. it shows the message your iphone couldnot be activated because the activation server is temporarily deactivated.
This usually happens if the phone has been Hacked / Jailbroken / Modified...

Careless? Possible, but unlikely. Most likely the phone was stolen from the first owner. It would be a VERY careless iPhone owner who did not erase their personal information from a phone before selling it, and to do that it is necessary to disable Activation Lock. In most places in the world knowingly using stolen property is a crime, so the fact that the phone doesn't work may be the least of one's risks. -
I have lost my Iphone and never activated my Icloud on my phone. Is there anyway of locating it whereabouts??? Also Who ever has my phone has downloaded find my phone. Is there anyway Apple can find out the address that was downloaded from??
Unfortuantely, you can only track the phone if you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost or stolen. I don't believe there is anything that Apple can do to locate your phone either.

You should only need a SIM in it to actually activate it in iTunes. Once activated, leave the SIM in or remove it, it should not matter.

What happens when the iPhone needs an activation and it doesn't respond? Then it asks me to restore it but due to an unknown error (-1) the iPhone can't be restored.
Thank you for your response. However, I have done that plenty of times and each time I try to restore my phone, it extracts the software and then when it says restoring with the loading bar, an error message comes up saying an unknown error has occurred.
