Hi
1. Go through these documents for the settings that need to be done.
http://www.sappro.com/downloads/OneClientDistribution.pdf
http://www.sapgenie.com/sapgenie/docs/ale_scenario_development_procedure.do
2. Check out whether you assigned logical systems to your clients.Next check the ports(for inbound and outbound) also in we20.And also go through the link below.
http://www.sappoint.com/abap/ale.pdf
3. Might be you have not created the RFC destination from your target system.
say for eg if u have two systems sys1 and sys2.
you need to create RFC destination for sys2 from sys1 and viceversa before generating Partner Profile

  • Port could not be created

    Hi gurus,
    While creating ALE partner profiles from R/3 , I am getting the following error.
    Port could not be created
    RFC destination SRMCLNT100 not specified for system SRMCLNT100
    Enter the RFC destination and restart the generation
    I have created the RFC destination from R/3 as wellas from SRMclinet 100 and could be able to remote logon to the respective systems. I am able to create partner profiles from SRMclient 100 but I could not do it from R/3.
    Pl give your advice.
    SS

    Hello,
    We defining ALE Distribution models, we add message types between 2 logical systems.
    When generating the partner profile from this view, the system tries to use an RFC destination with exactly the same name as the logical system.
    In your case, it does not find the RFC destination SRMCLNT100 in R/3.
    A workaround is to maintain the partner profiles manually :
    WE20 to maintain partner profile
    WE21 to maintain ports

  • FILE /usr/sap/trans/bin/DOMAIN.CFG could not be created

    Hi
      After a DB copy into the QAS system the TMS will not connect to QAS. I set the CHGR3SHLOC to the domain controller and ran SE06 to delete and reset the TMS as DDIC in client 000.
    When I run TMS on the QAS box and try to include QAS in the DOMAIN_DEV I get the message
    FILE /usr/sap/trans/bin/DOMAIN.CFG could not be created.
    I have all the QAS accounts on the TMS domain controller and they have the same password on both systems.
    Any one else had this one? Its v5r3 and 4.6c releases.
    Thanks

    Hi Matt,
    I'm pretty sure, you are missing one:
    sidnn ...
    Change this user on QAS so that you can logon and logon and try to edit the following file:
    edtf '/usr/sap/trans/bin/test.txt'
    I guess, you run into the same issue ... that needs to be fixed first ... most likely the wrong password for this user (default: sapNNpwd)

  • Trex Index could not be created HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)

    Hi Friends,
    I have installed EP6.0 SP15 on one machine and Trex 6.1 on another machine.All the services are green in the Trex monitor.And also i am able to get a reply from http://host:30205/TrexHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll?CMD=PING.Connection sucessful.While creating my first index in Index Administration i get this error message.
    "Index could not be created; creating index failed: HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)."
    Please tell me as to what steps i am missing and also where can i see the log message in portal.
    Thanks
    Sidharath

    hi friends,
    I went through the settings of trex services on server and found out that even after installing IIS 6.0 it was showing the path of Apache that that is i think the reason that httpserver is green but it is not using the CPU resources.I will share the setting with you.
    [queueserver]
    executable=TREXQueueServer.exe
    arguments=-port 30204
    startdir=C:\usr\sap\trex_02
    starttime=5000
    instances=1
    #hp_32:environment=_M_ARENA_OPTS=1:256,_M_SBA_OPTS=512:100:16
    As the executable for queserver is there so it is using cpu resources.
    [apache]
    executable=httpd
    arguments=-d C:\usr\sap\trex_02/Apache -R C:\usr\sap\trex_02/Apache/libexec -F
    startdir=C:\usr\sap\trex_02/Apache/bin
    instances=1
    As there is no folder for apache in trex installation so i think it is not working.Please check the setting in Trex Administration->Configration->Choose name server and on the right botton of it is edit services.Double click it and you will see the settings as i have shown above.Please share the settings with me as i will be then able to work with trex.
    Do i have to install Apache instead of IIS6.0.Please guide me.
    Thanks

    Error message "The backup disk image could not be created." I have tried everything I have found online in the community from TM full reset  to changing my computers name. Anything else I can try? I am using a Seagate external HD with a connection through my router. I spent an hour on the phone with seagate and everything is ok on the HD end.
    TM sees it and it is mounted but cannot go any further. HELP?!!!!
    Thanks

    How should it be connected? It has a usb port and ethernet. The USB on the ExHD looks like the port on the back of my computer, so I would need one wth the same ends? Do they make those?
    I can usually fix most my comp problems myself, but this new ExHD has stumped me.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,
    I am getting the following error in sending IDOC to SAP via WCF-SAP adapter in BizTalk Server 2009. I have the SOAP header in the adapter mentioned below. Also, wondering what is the convension for Action URL? Is it always "http://Microsoft.LobServices.Sap/2007/03/Rfc/"
    + Operation name mentioned in the Orchestration? I would appreciate if anyone could help me resolve this error.

    Hello Morten,
    The Send is actually just the name of the operation in Orchestration and it does not exist in SAP. Hence, do I really need to have the SOAP header in WCF-SAP adapter or can I send the IDOC without any SOAP header info? When I try to send without

  • RFC destination BW could not be created in the source system

    Hi,
    Recently I installed  BI 7.0 on Win 2003 and try to create a SAP system in RSA1.
    I try to connect R/3 system (on UNIX) and getting RFC connection error u201CRFC user logon failed. Check the connection.u201D  & u201CRFC destination BW could not be created in the source systemu201D. However, I test the connection and it is working fine.
    Please suggest the solution.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Rajesh,
    Answer is very simple. I did get same kind of problem. It is very simple answer depending on your R3 version.
    Use password all capital letters. Don't include any small letter at all. unlock your user id and change password to capital letter. BW doesn't like small and capital letter mix. this bug is fixed in ECC 6.0

    It appears on all the ABAP Dictionary: Restart Log List, that the same error is occuring on creating the secondary indexes...

    Same error occurs if I use the SE14 to "Continue Adjustment".

    Note 1365755 - Scripts to fix fillfactor issues on SQLServer 2000
    These seem to be the key.... but...
    I ran the scripts in 1180553 ... no change in the errors.  In fact, there isn't a dbo.[TATAF~] table and the dbo.[TATAF] table doesn't have the 'With fillfactor" entry.  So i wonder if  I'm at a different phase?
    I'm looking at 1365755 and think I'd like to give that one a try, but it says to unpack the ZIP file in the <upgr dir>\abap\bin directory.  Well there isn't one.  I have the upgrade dir \usr\sap\put and its subdirectories, but no \abap\bin dir.
    So I'm not sure where to unpack this to give it a try.
    Perhaps it would be better to go back to teh beginning of the UPGRADE (after PREPARE) and start again?
    I didn't upgrade to SQL Server 2005 because the version of SolMan we are on isn't certified on it, so thought I'd get through the Sol Man upgrade then do SQLServer 2005... maybe need to rethink this to?
    I'm open you suggesions, ideas, answers!

  • The Configuration Area could not be created (HANA Studio)

    This message is posted in case some else comes across this issue. After installing the SAP Hana Studion, I was continually receiving the following message:
    "The Configuration Area at 'c:\Users\U\.eclipse\org.eclipse.platform_3.5.0_1152700900\configuration' could not be created. Please choose a writable location using the '-configuration' command line option'.
    After trying to mess around with the command line option, I found that I needed to run the Hana Studio as an Administrator. ie, right click on the HANA Studio icon and select 'Run as Administrator' from the context menu.

    If this is a new setup discard existing web application along with site and content database. Recreate the same web application and try provisioning PWA with new databases

  • (Solved) Workflow System Verification Step 4: workitem could not be created

    Hello all
    We're on R/3 4.7 and I'm trying to get workflow runtime environment up and running. I've already passed through the automatic customizing (SWU3), all is green!
    When starting the verification workflow I get a mail in my SAP Workplace inbox telling me something about error WL 410.
    In the workflow log I can see this (had to translate it from german, so please bare with me if wording in english is not absolutely correct):
    green -> Start event received
    green -> (sub-)workflow created
    green -> workflow started
    green -> SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S
    red   -> Callback vom Workitem ausgeführt
    red   -> GET_DEADLINE
    red   -> SWW_WI_STATUS_CHANGE
    Clicking on the first red light pops up a message telling me something like that:
    Workflow 'Workflow-System-Verification' Step n° 4: Workitem could not be created
    The long text message of this and the workflow protocol tells nothing more.
    Anyone out there able to help me on this issue?
    Kind regards,
    Renaud

    Hello Alan
    Yes, this nearly made me crazy. Posted a customer message to SAP concerning this in parallel last week and also sent them some screenshots. They also advised me to move unit H from (non standard) dimensionless to dimension "time". This corrected it as already mentioned before.
    I did several workflow activations before and never had any problems with automatic customizing and the verification workflow... until I came across this system here. Also on all other systems known to me the unit H was never dimensionless. Double checked it last week as well. Probably someone else fiddled around in CUNI without knowing what he or she was doing? Will probably never find it out. I just hope that this was an exception! Else...
    Some extra points would be great of course )
    Thanks and kind regards,
    Renaud

    creating index failed: Invalid entry in configuration: section nameserver, key address, value tcpip://<trexhost>:<30201> is invalid (Errorcode 7213)
    Than you have not changes the value <trexhost> do your real trex name server host name.
    And that's why all the lights in TREX monitoring from your application point of view must be red.
    Best regards
    Frank
