Port for business graphics server

Hello,
I need to know on which port my business graphics server is running. I have administrator access to the web as but cannot use visual administrator due to security constraints.How do I see on which port business graphics server is installed or even see the listing of all services running on different ports using browser access to the Web AS?

The default port for IGS is 8030.
It can be called via URL as http://loacalhost:8030

NW 7.1 CE problems triggering onAction event for Business Graphics?

I have ported an application that was running on NWDS 7.0 to CE 7.1. No problems with code compilation and on the web page everything is working fine in 7.1 except that I am unable to trigger the onAction event on Business Graphics (e.g., bar chart). In 7.1 the cursor is not even changing from pointer to hand when I mouseover on the bar legend as it does when I run the app in 7.0. Is this a server setting with CE7.1 or am I missing something else?

I figured it out after some more poking around. In NW7.1 CE, the additional required step is to map the eventID of the Chart (Business Graphics) Category also to the same attribute as Category description.

Fixed length co-ordinates for business graphics

Hi,
We are using business graphics UI element with (chart type : Bars, Columns). The graphics output is working fine but the co-ordinates value of series is automatically getting adjusted to the maximum value of series values obtained.
But i want the co-ordinates values to be of fixed length. I tried changing the customizing values for value axis (Minimum value - 0 and Maximum value - 100) but doesnt seem to work.
Can someone help me on how to achieve this?

the sql instance service is running with domain/sqlservice account ,
- i stopped the sql service service
- when i start it not started again and i found below error message

Ports for LOM and Server Monitor?

I have an Xserve setup behind a firewall (local IP), and I'm trying to access LOM and Server Monitor from outside of the network .... which ports should I forward to the Xserve?
google comes up semi-empty :P

The entry for port 623 says "Used by Intel Xserves' Lights-Out-Monitoring (LOM) feature; used by Server Monitor". Server Admin uses port 311; it's possible Server Monitor may also use that port for some functions, though I'm not sure.

Onedrive for business "the server is out of space"

hi,
- on premise SharePoint server 2013
- dedicated "my site" web application.
- the sites collection has the right quotas
- the server has a lot of space available.
OneFor Business client app have a strange behaviour:
- I synch small files < 1mb: works
- I synch one file of 300 mb, the client app (OneDrive for b) give me "the server is out of space"
- I remove my "300mb" file from my client and I synch one file of 50mb: works
- I synch other 10 files of 50mb and WORKS
- I retry to synch the file of 300mb and the client app give me "the server is out of space"
- I remove the file with the error and I try to synch a smaller file like 250 or 200 mb, same error.
- I try to synch other files of 50, 60, 70mb that added more than 300mb and WORKS!
what is the problem ?

Have you looked at Site Quotas on the MySites in Central Administration on the SharePoint server, as well as Database size to validate that there isn't database size restrictions in place, and lastly, free space on the volume holding the database files
on the SQL Server?

Opening ports for Kaspersky MDM Server

We are setting up Kaspersky to use mobile devices and they request we open 9799, 9899, and 400. I opened those ports on the ASA 5510 but they are still saying closed. One person said we need to set up a NAT outside and then open the ports up under their. Anybody have any idea why these ports still say closed when I run a port test?

Hi, I'm still getting problems with this. I have added a user defined application on the Home Hub, and from what I can understand I have now opened the HTTP port (80), HTTPS (443) and the Remote Desktop Proxy (4125), but still no joy.
I have also tried to set up port forwarding from Settings > Advanced Settings > Port Forwarding > Configuration with the HTTP Server (World Wide Web) and HTTPS assigned to the Home Server physical address as shown below.
I still get the same message from the Windows Home Server Repair Wizard:
I'm still stumped - what do you mean by ensuring it is a static address? Do you have any other suggestions?

Opening Ports For a Gaming Server; Airport Utillity.

This is my very first post, and I'm not entirely sure if this is in the right Forum,
but anyway, I am currently trying to Open port 25565 using Airport utility,
So far I have Done:
1.Opened Airport Utility
2.Chosen Manual Setup
3. Entered Web password
4. gone advanced settings
5. Port Mapping
6 Clicked Plus.
Now, this is where I'm Stuck, I have no idea what to choose e.g Apple Remote Events and all the other options there, and where would I put the port I want to open? I don't know what to put in private ports, and I don't know what UDC and TDC or whatever they are, I don't know what they mean, Help?

Windows Server 2008 opening ports for sql

Hello we upgraded our server from 2003 to 2008 and we are trying to open up the ports for the sql server and reporting services so the users can access both database and report manager from their desk. we only have one location so its not like we
need people from different locations accessing it. but for some reason the users still cant access the database even after opening ports 1433 and 80. Can anyone help please

Can you explain why does he need turn off the firewall on prod. server? Running SQL
Browser service make sense if we use named instance, the OP did not mention that. Moreover if we enable SQL Browser
service we probably need to add UDP port 1434 to the firewall.

What are the java API supported for Business Graphics? I find a few on java but on [ABAP|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/644c3e873e2f95e10000000a155369/content.htm] the support is richer.

Business Graphics API in WEBAS J2EE

i have a business graphic integrated into my webdynpro application. I checked the api documentation for business graphics and found out, how to change the type of the business graphic and the number of dimensions programmatically.
On the API, i cannot find out any further possibilities of modifing the chart programmatically. I wonder about this, because the business graphic UI - element in NetWeaver Developer studio provides much more configuration possibilities on charts.
For example, i would like to use the averagre functions or adapt the number of labels on the chart axis. But all dynamically.
Has anyone experience, with such advanced business graphics features and nows if it is somehow possible to get to theses features by using the NetWeaver API?

As I understand, your user management is through database, so when a user is created in your application, the parameters pass through the Action Handler -> service class-> DAO. So a better way would be write an additional class with the user management implementation of BO with a constructor or a method which would take the required user creation parameters and call it in the service class just under the user creation method of your DAO.
As the user in your system passes some information from the front end, the same can be used to create user in BO.

Now we need one category for "plant" and other category for "month", Data is qty.

can anybody point out which ports are to be opened on firewalls ?
Im am using a SunMC 4.0 server/console/agent on a v240 and need to monitor systems located behind firewalls.
Also NATing is involved.
I would like to know which ports I have to open from agents to server (and vice versa) and from server to java-console on a PC (and vice versa)

You need to open firewall ports from 161-168. Also take a look at /var/opt/SUNWsymon/cfg/domain-config.x and make sure to open any ports within the "snmpPort" line of that file.

Configure client ports for RTMFP

We are redesigning our Flash application to use RTMFP in place of RTMP, and we are interested in knowing exactly which ports our client app will try to use when connecting with RTMFP. From reading the documentation provided, it appears that the hostport element of Adaptor.xml allows for configuration of ports for Flash Media Server. Will changes to these port values have any effect on the ports being used by the client?

Keystore Entry:
Login to Visual Admin --> Server --> Services --> KeyStorage --> TrustedCAs --> Load --> Select the location where you have stored the certificate on your local system
Load function is used as you have already got the certificate....
Once this is done you will find an entry for your certificate in the Entries tab of your TrustedCAs section.
This is your Keystore Entry...in other words it the name of your certificate.

Are you going to consume Logon tickets of the Third party system (which is other than SAP J2ee engine of your XI)? If yes, then you may also need to do some more settings in the J2ee Engine.

Hostname for Jdeveloper app server connection

First, I know this is a pretty simple question, so please take it easy on me ;-)
I installed eBS successfully on a Windows XP laptop and am trying to set up a JDeveloper application server connection so I can do some OAF development work. Should I choose Oracle Application Server 10g or Standalone OC4J? How do I figure out my hostname and port number?
I've set up the database connection ok, but I'm pretty new to working on the application server side.

for the prot if you mean the ebs it depent on the port pool u choose during the installation for ex.
port pool 0 ---> http port is 8000 and database port is 1521
port pool 1 --->http port is 8001 and database port is 1522 ...etc
you should connect to ebs using
http://yourservername.domianname:port
for the application server if you installed 11i ebs then the applicaiton server version is 1.0.2.2.2
