I have olso anabbled de remote web menagement on port 888.
From the outside i can access the remote management. but i cannot access my webserver on prot 80 or 443. I have checked with the isp provirder en these port or not blocked.
Can anywane help,
Thanks,

Hi Danny, to my recollection there are not any bugs on the current releases for the SRP for forwarding.
To affirm, you have went to Network Setup -> NAT -> Port forwarding
Also, are you able to log in to the server locally with the LAN IP address using an internet browser for http and https?

  • WRT54G2 - Port Forwarding is not working properly?

I have a WRT54G2 model #1 with firmware Version 1.0.00 setup as a static IP address connection from my data provider.  The router provides service to an Internal IP network of 10.50.6.___.  The connection is working properly and I am able to access external IP's from all internal computers.  I am attempting to have all inbound traffic on port 9100 forwarded to 10.50.6.49 (a network printer).  I set up port forwarding and enabled it according to previous posts in this forum, and I see the inbound traffic in the log, but nothing appears to be getting to the printer.  I am able to ping the printer from the router, and print to it from internal PC's.  I am fairly new at this process but know enough to be dangerous.  How can I tell if the traffic is actually being routed to the printer or is getting lost in the router?
    Thank you!

Hey try resetting the router reset button in such a way that power light is blinking on the router & then do a complete network power cycle i.e., unplug the power cables from the modem & from the router & then plug in the power cable to the modem first once all the lights are solid green you could plug in the power cable to the router & check out it will definately work!!

  • Airport Ext. Port Forwarding does not work

I am trying to open up UDP ports 500, 1701, and 4500 to point to my local computer since i'm using iVPN. However, Airport doesn't seem to want to open these up. I disabled Mobile Me as per the support document I found and still having issues.
I want to be able to VPN via my iPhone and/or MacBook Pro into my home network.
My Mac Mini is running 10.6.5 with all the latest updates. My Airport Ext has the Wireless N with latest updates as well.
Any help appreciated. I have spent over 2 hours searching on google and could not find any documents that actually got this to work.

To setup port mapping on an 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn), either connect to the AEBSn's wireless network or temporarily connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to one of the LAN port of the AEBSn, and then use the AirPort Utility, in Manual Setup, to make these settings:
    1. Reserve a DHCP-provided IP address for the iVPN device.
    Internet > DHCP tab
o On the DHCP tab, click the "+" (Add) button to enter DHCP Reservations.
o Description: <enter the desired description of the host device>
o Reserve address by: MAC Address
    o Click Continue.
o MAC Address: <enter the MAC (what Apple calls Ethernet ID if you are using wired or AirPort ID if wireless) hardware address of the iVPN host computer>
    o IPv4 Address: <enter the desired IP address>
    o Click Done.
    2. Setup Port Mapping on the AEBSn.
    Advanced > Port Mapping tab
o Click the "+" (Add) button
o Service: <ignore this for now; it will change to Custom once you start entering values>
    o Public UDP Port(s): 500, 1701, 4500
    o Public TCP Port(s): 1723
o Private IP Address: <enter the DHCP-Reserved IP address you created earlier>
    o Private UDP Port(s): 500, 1701, 4500
    o Private TCP Port(s): 1723
    o Click "Continue"

  • How to get Port Forwarding to 8080 working on HH2

    Hi,
How can I get port forwarding to 8080 working on my HomeHub2?
I have a QNAP TS219P NAS connected via wired Ethernet to my HomeHub2.
This has a Web Administration facility that should enable me to access & manage the NAS over the Internet.
I have set the NAS to have a fixed IP address of 198.162.1.100 and enabled a dyndns account to point to my ISP WAN IP. I then used Application Sharing on the HH to forward all traffic to 8080 to the NAS device (called "Kermit" in my case).
However, using http://mysite.dyndns.org:8080 simply brings up the admin page of the Home Hub.
Despite the HH telling me the port is forwarded correctly, http://www.canyouseeme.org reports the port as - "Error: I could not see your service on nn.nn.nn.nn on port (8080) ...Reason: Connection refused"
My HH firewall is set to "Default" (Allow all outgoing connections and block all incoming traffic. Games and application sharing is allowed.), but I have tried disabling it and this made no difference at all.
I know that dyndns and port forwarding are working in other respects, since I also set the NAS up as a Web Server with a simple home page, and forwarded port 80 on the HH through to the NAS. Requests over the Internet for the http://mysite.dyndns.org:80 home page work fine...
There's nothing in the HH Event log that I can make sense of and I'm going mad...
Is anyone able to talk me through some good ideas of how to progress this?

Another thing I thought of- did you setup the port forwarding to forward to your named IP address or to the hostname?
I would recommend setting the port forwarding to your named IP address:
    http://192.168.1.254/app_config.lp?be=1&l2=0&l0=2&l1=4
In this menu (Application Sharing -> Configuration, select "User Defined" in Device. A textfield entry box appears below device and hardcode 192.168.1.100 in there).
Finally, any logs on the QNAP for your external connection attempts? - Could it be passing through the HomeHub and then get rejected by the QNAP?

As it is the BI java stack system & I configured the SMD & wily in the system. From the BI java stack system the wily agent is not working and it uses the port : 6001.
Now the issue is regarding to the port : 6001

    Hi,
The both mentioned virtual systems are in different LPAR's (Physical host).
Already I have checked the /etc/services and looks every thing is fine in the file. I have also checked the file inetd.conf  and I didn't find any thing # on the Telnet. It seems every thing is fine in the both files.
Can you please look in to it and provide some thing which I have to look in the OS level.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Disable port monitoring task not working

    Hi,
On SCOM 2012 SP1 the task "disable port monitoring" is not working. When I run it shows a success message but the port\interface keeps to be monitored on scom, the ports that I'm trying to disable the monitoring are members of the Relay Network
Adapters Group. Is there any way to fix this task or manually stop the monitoring of the port\interface ?

    Hi Carlos,
By coincidence I ran into the same problem today.
It can be disabled by creating an override where you target the specific port object and set the parameter enabled=false.
I am not 100% sure this is the correct way but it works. I am assuming the disable port does something similar but I have to open up the task to confirm this.
For now I hope this helps.

  • BT Home Hub Port Forwarding, Device Not Listed

    Hi Guys,
It's quite a simple one really but it has me totally stumped. I've been trying to open a couple of ports recently, for games etc and I know how all this port forwarding stuff works, but recently I had hard drive issues and had to re-install windows etc, all the usual **bleep**. Since then though, when trying to forward a port in the hub manager (I have BT Home Hub 2), my device doesn't appear in the drop down list, neither the physical hexadecimal address nor the name I assigned to the machine! My Xbox, Iphone and my dads laptops are all on the list... just not the machine I'm using right now, even though its wired up by ethernet cable and I'm using the hub for the internet to get onto this website right now! -.-
    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Anonymoose and welcome
Try power cycling the hub (turn it off and on) with your device connected and see if it then appears on the list.

  • WRT120N - DMZ works, port forwarding doesn't work; only one device allowed in DMZ

    Hi,
I have an WRT120N router and two DVRs.  I can get either one of the DVRs to work just fine if I put it in the DMZ.  Neither one works when I enable port forwarding.  Since I cannot have two devices in the DMZ with this router, I cannot use that approach (throwing them in the DMZ) as a viable solution.
I need help finding out what I am doing incorrectly with the port forwarding.  Basically I am creating an entry for each port of each device, going to the correct IP address of that device.  I have tried both protocols as well as just TCP.  This does not work.  Just for fun, I tried using the port range forwarding and this does not work either.  The only thing that works is if I throw either of the devices in the DMZ.
So what I have essentially is this:
DEVICE1 / 192.168.0.120 (internal) / PORT 999 / works great in DMZ but not in port fwd
DEVICE2 / 192.168.0.121 (internal) / PORT 456 / works great in DMZ but not in port fwd
I have used Wireshark from a remote computer to observe what happens when I navigate to the URL that I need, such as http://myjunk.ddnsprovider.xyz:999 (where 999 is the port on which the device in question serves).  I don't see anything out of the ordinary.  (I assume there is no way to run a packet sniffer on the router.)  (Can we "telnet" into the router, btw?)
So either I am doing something wrong, or there is a need for a router software update, or the router is blocking some other protocol, etc.  Help is much appreciated!  BTW, tried with the router firewall off, too.  No go.
    Regards,
    Mike

Whats the current firmware installed on your router? Have you tried to upgrade the firmware on your Router?

  • WRT54G. DMZ/port forwarding no longer works?

I have a computer hosting an IIS web site / other services (to the internet) that had been working for a long time.  Now, no matter what I do, I can not get it to work anymore, it's driving me crazy.  I can access the services on my local network using 192.168.1.x, just not from the internet IP.  The computer's IP is configured as the DMZ, I also tried specifically port forwarding instead.  Windows firewall has exceptions for the ports, and I even tried turning it off temporarily, no luck.  I am running out of ideas.  Can anyone help?  Any ideas?

I've also got this problem. Though I swore it used to work with 4.21.1 initially. Regardless, this is weak & annoying so hopefully I can get my hands on 4.20.7 & downgrade.
Also, in the last several months I've had to reflash & reprogram the device from scratch to "unbrick" it ... basically it would stop forwarding packets between the inside & outside interfaces. Meaning I could ping/manage it from the internet but not the LAN or vice versa. I assumed the issue was a corrupt configuration sine each time I had to rebuild my configuration from scratch after reflashing the firmware. Just restoring the configuration from a backup left things in the same unusable state as before.
Hopefully Linksco will address these issues and get rid of this wonky firmware version in favor of a stable one.

  • WRT160Nv3 port forwarding settings not being saved

    Hello there.
I am using a WRT160Nv3 router and am having trouble getting port forwarding to work.
Specifically, my settings are not being saved properly.
I am trying to set up a server to run for Minecraft, and I have eliminated all issues save port forwarding.
I open up the router's settings by going to 10.10.10.1 in my browser.  I go to "Single Port Forwarding."  I then choose a blank spot on the left and label the application (in this case, Minecraft), then I type in the ports I want to forward (minecraft uses 25565).  I check the box "Enabled."  Then I go down to the "Save Settings" button below and click it.
This brings me to a mostly black screen with a white box in it, and big black letters saying "Settings are successful" and a button to click, labeled "continue."  I click this, and it returns me to the last page I was on (Single Port Forwarding).
But here is the problem- that page is EXACTLY the same as when I began.  None of what I typed in or changed is actually saved on the screen o_0
This definitely baffles me, as it seems as if I did nothing in first place.  I use the program whose port I wanted to forward and it still doesn't work, the error messages being the same as always.
So what is the matter here?  Why aren't my settings being saved properly?  Do I need to get a new router-this one is only a year old...
    Any ideas?
PS- I also tried to do port range forwarding, and the same thing happens there too.
