Port Forwarding - Old Rules work, new ones don't

As per subject 2 rules I created in Oct work fine.
2 I've created today don't.
If I reboot the HomeHub, will that change my IP Address and upset my line speeds / profile ?
Thanks

We had the same error message here. We resolved it by changing the format of the password in the bc4j.xcfg file. To do this, find the bc4j.xcfg file in your project directory. Using notepad or another external editor, edit the one under the "src" directory. Find the password tag under your connection in the file.
Edit it so that it reads like this:
<password value="<yourpassword>" />
Let me know if it worked..
BTW, I have also heard that upgrading your Java instalation on your server will also fix the problem, but we have not tried that.

, I've spent way to much time already trying to troubleshoot this problem.
Simply put, everything works fine on JDeveloper 9.0.3. The same application can Not view anything on JDeveloper 9.0.2
I'm deploying the application to Oracle9ias 9.0.3 and I come up with the following error:
Error Message: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file **/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath
This error only occurs when I deploy the application through Enterprise Manager. Yet when directly deploying the files all application pages that were unchanged have no difficulty working, but the application pages that have changes (database tables changed as well) don't work properly. In fact, they attempt to make View Object select statements that are not contained in the new version of the application (PK name has changed).
How can I get the pages pointed to the new bc4j.xcfg? Is there something wrong with the configuration on the server? (I've already attempted: including the bc4j.xcfg in the additional path, sychronizing, deploying the business components, and even recompiling in 9.0.2)

  • WRT120N - DMZ works, port forwarding doesn't work; only one device allowed in DMZ

    Hi,
I have an WRT120N router and two DVRs.  I can get either one of the DVRs to work just fine if I put it in the DMZ.  Neither one works when I enable port forwarding.  Since I cannot have two devices in the DMZ with this router, I cannot use that approach (throwing them in the DMZ) as a viable solution.
I need help finding out what I am doing incorrectly with the port forwarding.  Basically I am creating an entry for each port of each device, going to the correct IP address of that device.  I have tried both protocols as well as just TCP.  This does not work.  Just for fun, I tried using the port range forwarding and this does not work either.  The only thing that works is if I throw either of the devices in the DMZ.
So what I have essentially is this:
DEVICE1 / 192.168.0.120 (internal) / PORT 999 / works great in DMZ but not in port fwd
DEVICE2 / 192.168.0.121 (internal) / PORT 456 / works great in DMZ but not in port fwd
I have used Wireshark from a remote computer to observe what happens when I navigate to the URL that I need, such as http://myjunk.ddnsprovider.xyz:999 (where 999 is the port on which the device in question serves).  I don't see anything out of the ordinary.  (I assume there is no way to run a packet sniffer on the router.)  (Can we "telnet" into the router, btw?)
So either I am doing something wrong, or there is a need for a router software update, or the router is blocking some other protocol, etc.  Help is much appreciated!  BTW, tried with the router firewall off, too.  No go.
    Regards,
    Mike

Whats the current firmware installed on your router? Have you tried to upgrade the firmware on your Router?

  • Using Tv as display - old mini works - new one doesn't

I hooked up my older mac mini to my TV. I used a regular DVI to VGA cable and all was well with the world. I have a Widescreen TV, and the new mac mini stays in a 4x3 state - it never goes to widescreen. I hooked up my old mac mini and I tried to use the same screen resolution as it was automatically setup before but it stays 4x3 and it looks funky - like the entire screen is even more compressed.
I called apple and they told me that they couldn't help me because they will only help me if I had issues working with a monitor or tv that is under 30".
Anybody know what I need to see my new mac mini in widescreen? If I can't fix it soon I'll just return it and go back to my older slower mac mini so I could at least watch hulu in widescreen.

here is a weird thing - don't know if this means anything. In the display settings there is only 1 setting for 1920x1080, and it shows up as 1920x1080(interlaced), when I flip my TV on it says 1080i, but if I go to display dropdown on my tool bar there is another 1920x1080 - with no other changes, however my TV now says 1080p. However, the actual text quality did not change.
When I keep my TV on 0 sharpness the text is unreadable - I reduced it from 55 to 40 just to be able to read. I wish I could just find out if it is indeed a setting on the Sony, or if either the Sony is not capable of delivering or if I have some other limitation. I tried adapters for the display port and the mini-dvi - but that didn't make a difference at all. It's really frustrating. I think I'm so used to working with mostly apple hardware that's easy to use the minute I have to fix some other piece of equipment (like my sony), I feel I need an engineering degree.

  • How do you guys transfer photoshop cs6 from old laptop to new one?

    Hi,
I'm trying to transfer photoshop cs6 from my old macbook to new one.
I tried to do it through using migration, but it doesn't work.
Is there a better solution? or do I need to buy new one ?

Migration does not work well with Adobe programs. Deactivate it on your old machine. Then use the Creative Cloud Cleaner on the new machine to get rid of the unsuccessfully migrated software.  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Then do a complete new install on the new machine, and activate it.

Is there a way to move Messages and Local (not synced with iCloud) notes from old iPhone to new one ?

Yes, it will. You cannot merge information on the phone. If you want the old messages, you will need to restore from a backup of the old phone, which will make the new phone look just like the old phone. If you want to save the messages from the new phone, you will not be able to get the messages from the old phone.

  • How to get Port Forwarding to 8080 working on HH2

    Hi,
How can I get port forwarding to 8080 working on my HomeHub2?
I have a QNAP TS219P NAS connected via wired Ethernet to my HomeHub2.
This has a Web Administration facility that should enable me to access & manage the NAS over the Internet.
I have set the NAS to have a fixed IP address of 198.162.1.100 and enabled a dyndns account to point to my ISP WAN IP. I then used Application Sharing on the HH to forward all traffic to 8080 to the NAS device (called "Kermit" in my case).
However, using http://mysite.dyndns.org:8080 simply brings up the admin page of the Home Hub.
Despite the HH telling me the port is forwarded correctly, http://www.canyouseeme.org reports the port as - "Error: I could not see your service on nn.nn.nn.nn on port (8080) ...Reason: Connection refused"
My HH firewall is set to "Default" (Allow all outgoing connections and block all incoming traffic. Games and application sharing is allowed.), but I have tried disabling it and this made no difference at all.
I know that dyndns and port forwarding are working in other respects, since I also set the NAS up as a Web Server with a simple home page, and forwarded port 80 on the HH through to the NAS. Requests over the Internet for the http://mysite.dyndns.org:80 home page work fine...
There's nothing in the HH Event log that I can make sense of and I'm going mad...
Is anyone able to talk me through some good ideas of how to progress this?

Another thing I thought of- did you setup the port forwarding to forward to your named IP address or to the hostname?
I would recommend setting the port forwarding to your named IP address:
    http://192.168.1.254/app_config.lp?be=1&l2=0&l0=2&l1=4
In this menu (Application Sharing -> Configuration, select "User Defined" in Device. A textfield entry box appears below device and hardcode 192.168.1.100 in there).
Finally, any logs on the QNAP for your external connection attempts? - Could it be passing through the HomeHub and then get rejected by the QNAP?

    What "ipod registration"?
    Plug it in and sync.
It will erase your content form the ipod and replace with content from the new computer.  Make sure you have copied everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one first.
