Port Range Already Exists warning - WRT310N

Attempting to forward a range of ports, when I save the settings, I get the error "port range already exists". Doesn't matter what number I put in there or how wide the range is, any thoughts? Has the latest firmware (that I'm aware of; v1.0.07-LS-HND). Hard to find any posts on this but I think there was a similar problem with Single Port Forwarding also if you used the 5 built-in settings.
Thanks,
Ron

Make sure the LAN IP addresses (that you are trying to forward the ports to) are outside the DHCP server range, and that they do not end in 0, 1, or 255.

  • While installing ODC ,pixscan.mdb file already exist Warning

    Hi All..
I have installed ODC but by mistake I have started it without initializing the database and hence it throws the error that database is not initialized ..So I have uninstalled it and once again installed it...While installing it throws one warning that pixscan.mdb file already exist,if I select no and installation continues and completed also..And again while starting the ODC it throws the error -failed to query ecparameter table and database is not initialized..
I have also deleted the captovation directory from(HK_localuser) registry.i am also unable to find blackIce&captovation directory in HK_Local machine .
Please tell me where I am lagging..Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

If you having DB issues, you can simply remove the following out of the registry (note 64bit operating system, else it should be this same path minus the Wow portion i believe):
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Captovation\eCapture\Imaging Systems\eCapture
Removing this will then have ODC ask you to resetup your connections. Please make sure to reinitialize your DB (assuming this is a clean install), initialize DB should always be an enabled option. Make sure to chose the right one, oracle vs sql
As for installing the client, you shouldnt have to reinstall if all your looking to do is modify the DB parameters, just follow the above. If you do wish to reinstall, i suggest either a repair (then performing the above step),
if you wish to do a full remove, do it from Add/Remove. Once you've done so, as stated here many other times, remove the following folder \ProgramData\Oracle\DocumentCapture (again, ProgramData is a hidden folder, you can enable this by hitting 'alt' in a file explorer window, choosing tools..folderoptions..view..show hidden files and folders).

  • Email: Warning Account Name Already Exists

The other day when I clicked on my mail app (not the yahoo mail app) I got the sign in screen. I clicked on Yahoo. Signed in and I keep getting this message "Warning: The acct name already exists." The app on my screen says I have 99+ emails but I can't check them. Help?

Yes, that didn't work.  I called Verizon Wireless and finally got it back up and running correctly.  Here are the steps:
    1. make sure contacts are backed up through backup assistant (see contacts on your account)
    2. power down
    3. remove battery and card under battery (sim card?), replace battery and power on
    4. pull up settings, SD and phone storage, Factory data reset, reset phone
    5. follow prompts, power phone
    6. add mail accounts back
    7. replace card under battery
    8. power back
Everything appears and mail is back in business
I am so happy.  This has been so frustrating for at least a month now.  I should have called instead of visiting the store.

  • SG300, FW 1.2.7.76, "Entry already exists" when changing ACL's

    Hello,
I am getting very frustrated trying to modify/create ACL's on my SG300-20 switch.
I have the switch in L3 mode. I have created several VLAN's and ACL's for each VLAN controlling their access to each other. After the initial setup, I have started trying to create more VLAN ACL rules to allow more access between the VLAN's. The problem I keep running in to is that when I go to modify the ACE's in the ACL, I keep getting the error message "Entry already exists". For example, I go to modify the port ranges to tighten them up, and try to save the ACE after modifying it, and I get that error message.
I have gotten frustrated and deleted ACE's, and then tried recreating them, and I get the same error message! I noticed that if I wait long enough (many minutes, hours?) I can go in and create the ACE again. The ACE definitely doesn't exist but the web interface won't let me create it. I've even tried using a completely different Priority value which isn't used in any of the ACL's, that didn't work either.
Why is this happening? At this point I am finding it next to impossible to configure this thing. Frustrating...

Here is a screenshot of one of my ACL's. This ACL is being applied to every port which is in the VLAN with the IP range 10.0.0.0/24
    http://imgur.com/C6iQk
I just tried to add a new rule which failed with the same error:
    Priority 89
    Action: Permit
    Source IP Address: 10.0.0.21
    Source IP Mask: 0.0.0.0
    Destination IP Address: 10.1.0.0
    Destination IP Mask: 0.0.0.255
    Source Port Range: 8080
    Destination Port Range: 49152-65535
So I am trying to allow anything from the 10.1.0.0/24 network to talk to port 8080 on 10.0.0.21. This failed with the "Entry already exists" error.

  • SG300 ACE Creation "Already Exists" ?????

I'm configuring ACEs through the browser on an SG300 in L3, and I keep running into an extremely frustrating situation.
About every nine out of ten times I try to save an ACE, I get a message in red text that says the "Entry Already Exists" -- when it clearly does not exist.
I just tried creating a new (empty) ACL, and adding one ACE.  Even with that I get the "Already Exists" message when trying to save the first ACE.  I've tried saving and rebooting, blowing away the ACL and starting over, and even creating the base ACL and first few rules through the CLI.  Same problem, over and over.
    What's up Cisco???
I read a couple of posts here that there is a browser-dependent bug, and only IE works well, but I get the exact failure when using Safari, Firefox and IE9.
When I spoke with Cisco SB tech support he said that he has heard about this but he could only suggest that I blow away the config, and reset the switch to factory default (thanks, but no thanks) or post a message here.
Has any one found a solution to this bug?  I've been advocating to my small business clients that they use these switches because the bandwidth is very good and the forwarding is rock-solid, but I'm not going to be able to keep using these switches when it takes hours to make a simple ACE change.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.  -Pat

  • Unable to Save in Port Range Forwarding

I'm using the BEFW11S4 wireless router and am unable to save the new port range forwarding settings I have entered.  Everytime I click Save Settings, I receive a box which reads:
"The server 192.168.1.1 at Linksys BEFW11S4 V4 requires a username and password.
Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection)."
When I enter the same u/p that I used to access the router in the first place, it rejects and keeps bringing up the log in screen.
I cannot get the port range forwarding to save at all due to this.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thank you!

try remembering the password you used for first time while installing the router .... if not then use default password admin with out any username ....
If still not working then you need to reset the router ....

  • Airport Base Station - setting up base station to already existing network

    Hello,
I just replaced a network switch on the network. Since I did that I am unable to get Internet connection from our main base station in the server room that distributes the IP addresses. I did a reset to the base station and tried to get it to show on the already existing network, but I'm having some issues getting the base station configured with the other base stations on the network. How do I get this main base station to show up on our network?
Right now our other base stations are not getting valid IP addresses. The base station that is setup to distribute IP addresses is getting valid addresses from our provider. If someone could give me any suggestions I would appreciate it.
We are running Apple 10.2.4 on our network.

OK - starts to make sense now. If you did a factory reset of the base station then more than likely the airport network name for it is the Apple default name, and you probably lost the WDS in Wireless Mode.
Do you know the old network name and the network password? Do you know how the other 4 or 5 base stations were configured - ie as a WDS network and whether as relay or remote base stations. You should not need to change anything on these base stations if you know how your AEB (main) was setup in the first place.
One step back from this, you need to confirm that the DSL modem is connecting to your ISP. Connect the ethernet cable from the DSL modem to your Mac and confirm that you can log onto your ISP or internet. If it works then lets go onto the AEB you reset.
Apple publish setup manuals for their AirPort Base Stations - they can be downloaded at: http://support.apple.com/manuals/#airport
    1. Reset your AEB to its factory default again.
    2. Turn-off the AEB and connect one of its ethernet ports to your Mac by ethernet cable, and connect the DSL modem to the WAN port on the AEB by ethernet cable.
    3. Power up your Mac, the DSL modem and the AEB and wait for all to complete their startup sequence. Then open AirPort Utility - you should see your AEB under a generic network name. Click on the AEB.
    4. Use the auto setup procedure by clicking 'Continue'. Follow the onscreen instructions for setting up a new network. When asked, use the 'original network name' for your school network. When asked for a network password, use the 'original network password' for your school network (what sort of network security were you using - WPA2 Personal - use whatever you had previously.
    5. At some stage you will also be asked to give the AEB a name and admin password - use whatever they were previously.
    6. When the setup procedure is complete and the AEB finishes restarting, the AEB will reappear in AirPort Utility. Click on the AEB and click 'Manual Setup'. You may be asked for the admin password to get into the configuration profile.
    7. Click on the 'Wireless' tab and set the 'Wireless Mode:' to 'Participate in a WDS network' if not already set to this. While in this pane, look at 'Channel:' - do you remember what this was set to previously (if not, you may need to connect one of the other AEBs by ethernet cable to a Mac and use AirPort Utility to check the Channel setting.
    8. Now, click on the 'Internet' icon at the top of AirPort Utility. Check that 'Connection Sharing:' is set to 'Off (Bridge Mode)' - if not, change it.
    9. Now, click 'Update' and wait for the AEB to restart.
    10. Now, disconnect the ethernet cable from the Mac to the AEB ethernet port.
    11. Open Airport Utility, and hopefully, you can now see the AEB and the other 4 or 5 base stations.
    Let us know what happens.

  • What port-range in the firewall of a Socks (e.g. JSocks) server?

    Hi there,
I am using the JSocks implementation of a socks v5 server.
Some of my questsions are quite general (not only specific to JSocks) and I hope that someone knows the answer. Unfortunately the forum of JSocks (sourceforge) is only rudymentary so I think this place is better to answer my questions.
    However...
As I understand the socks proxy, the server waits on a specific port - normally 1080 and processes the client requests (bind, connect, accept...).
For example one client requests a bind. Then the socks server opens a port locally on the socks host and (if successful) replies the new listening port and ip to the requesting client. ...
(Forget authentication, cascaded proxies and ip-ranges at this point!)
Now, if other clients should be able to access this port, the firewall (if any) needs to allow connection to this port.
    My questions:
What should be an adequate port range for the socks proxy? With other words: what is the port range of the new ports that are created for the requesting clients?
How schould a seperate firewall be configured not to conflict with a socks proxy?
Specific to JSocks (if somebody knows this he wins a virtual cookie): What is the port range that JSocks uses if it opens (generates) new ports for its clients?
Where is the port range defined in the jsocks - I havent found any?
Imagine that on the same machine there are other running applications that are listening on predefined ports. (e.g. 8080, 21, ...) - what is the best way to exclude the ports in jsocks?
Any hints and explanations are welcome!
Edited by: krafzig on Oct 28, 2008 8:27 AM

You only need one port.OK, initially I need only - lets say port 1080.
But then for example a client c1 requests a bind. The socks server opens a new socket for the client (e.g. on 50000) and tells the client on which port on the socks he is now listening, right?
In order to allow client c2 to connect to this new port the firewall needs to allow access to the new port (50000) first.
So there are more ports - there might be hundrets or thousands, right?
If its on a seperate box it doesn't matter. If its on the same box it should manage different ports.yes, different ports!
However, it should allow access to the ports that the socks opens for the clients, right?
Optimal would be a dynamic adaptation of the firewall, whenever the socks opens a new port the firewall grants access.
I assume its configurable, so its up to you.No, unfortunately it is not configurable. At least I havent found anything.
    Probably won't either.???
    Don't use ports already used. `netstat -a` will list all the used port on that box. obviously, and Jsocks allows to configure reusage of ports by flag true/false;
Has anybody setup a socks proxy with a firewall and knows how this is/should be done normally?
    Has anybody experiences with JSocks?

  • Asset number already exists in AS01

    Hi all,
I am creating a new asset in AS01. The problem is that I am getting the error saying that the asset number already exists. Typically SAP continues on from the last old number, but now it is restarting from 30000. The number is being generated automatically.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this numbering issue? I have looked in config but have failed to find anything.
    Thanks,

    Hi.
Run Tcode AS08. Choose company code and click on status. Change the number range to match your current number range.
This issue may be becaue someone might have resetted the number range using the path given above.

Can someone please explain what causes this error:
    OCA-30023: error fetching result set
    [POL-3253] group file already exists
I am using Oracle Lite 8. I have created a view that returns all records from a table with the related data from other tables. Whenever I use this view in a query, adding a where clause with a date range, I get the above mentioned error. This only happens when the database is open in another application. If I use the view in a query without a where clause, it works fine, but I get more data than I want to view. The view is shown below.
    Thanks for any info.

    create view EventViewEx
         (EventIndex,LogDate,Tool,ModuleId,Module,Type,Event,StrDesc1,StrDesc2,StrDesc3,StrDesc4,IntDesc1,FptDesc1,UserName) as
    select     Event.EventIndex,
         Event.EventDate,
         Tool.ShopOrder,
         Event.ModuleID,
         Module.ModuleName,
         Event.EventType,
         Names.Name,
         Event.EV_StrDesc1,
         Event.EV_StrDesc2,
         Event.EV_StrDesc3,
         Event.EV_StrDesc4,
         Event.EV_IntDesc1,
         Event.EV_FptDesc1,
         Users.UserName
    from     Event,
         Names,
         Module,
         Tool,
         Users
    where     Event.ToolIndex = Tool.ToolIndex
    and     Event.NameId = Names.NameId
    and     Event.ModuleId = Module.ModuleId
    and     Event.UserIndex = Users.UserIndex;

Thanks John. We downloaded the omwb13100 zip file.
Instead of using the default repository, I tried to log-in to a database on the local NT machine to recreate a new repository. Everything went fine afterwards.
We're all set for now but it would be nice to find out what happened to the default repository. Thank you.

  • Reoprts server itdrep already exists in the network

    Hi
I have two AIX machines with different hostnames and have application server 10gR2 standalone installed on both the machines.I created a new report server with the name "ITDREP" on both the machines(same name on both the machines).
Now when i try starting the report server on machine1 it starts but after this if i try to start the reports server on machine2 it fails with the error "Reoprts server itdrep already exists in the network".
If I want to have a reoprt server with the same name on two machines what do i need to do??
