Port Stock Handling

Hi Gurus,
My customer has the below requirement
They recieve material from import Vendor, recieve first at port and invoice is Paid ...because of the capacity restrictions of the  warehouse ...I will keep the stock in Port
This stock should not be valuated and required for the Planning purpose ....Also I need to check what is my stock at port.
Can any one of you help me in mapping this scenario in SAP.
Regards
Govind

Hi Ravi,
Thanks for you reply.
1)We cannot use GR blocked stock since we cannot include the stock for the Planning.
2)We are already using the ASN / IB. But Inbound delivery will be created before arrival to the port also.

  • Why T-RFC Port canu2019t handle Partner Profile Segment Release Version.

Can TRFC Port handle the segment release of each of the segment if configured in Partner Profile.
As per sap, in Partner Profile,  if we maintain the two field "Seg. Release in IDoc Type"  and "Segment Application release" to a SAP Release lower than the current release version then all the segment populated by the IDoc adapter should be populated as per the lower release structure.
For test Purpose I have created two IDoc using File Port and TRFC port and for both of then I have maintained the Partner Profile Fields  "Seg Release in IDoc Type" and "Segment Application Release" as 46C although the latest release is 701.
In the IDoc there is a custom segment ZE1PMX with two Version Release 46C & 701. 46C is having 7 Fields and 701 is having 9 fields.
Test using TRFC Port: Using TRFC port the IDoc that is getting generated are not having the segment structure of release 46C instead of that it is taking the segment structure of latest release 701 which is having 9 fields.
Test using File Port: Using File port the IDoc that is getting generated are having the segment structure of release 46C instead of latest release 701 which is having 7 fields which is desirable.
I have also done these testing in other SAP release like 700 and found that while saving the partner profile with a lower  segment release number it throws an warning message as "Segment definitions missing for release 620/620" and IDocs are not getting generated with a error status Code 2 "Segment E1BPMEPOITEM1 is unknown in Release 620 /". But from release 701 sap allows us to save the Partner Profile without warning and also creates the IDoc without error but the segments takes the latest release structure instead of the release maintained in the Partner Profile.
If any one has already done some investigation on this issue please let me know why there is a difference in TRFC Port and File Port. Is there any other configuration that is missing for T-RFC Port.

    Hi Dennis
This forum is focused on [SAP NetWeaver Gateway|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/gateway], i.e. the (relatively) new OData/REST-orientated mechanism to expose ERP data and functions.
    You're talking about the ('classic') Gateway i.e. the service that runs on port 33<SYSNR>. As a result, you are better off posting in the forum that covers that Gateway, i.e. [Application Server Infrastructure|SAP NetWeaver Application Server;
The names do make it confusing, for sure.
    Good luck!

  • Project-Stock Handling units using HUPAST

    Hi folks,
we want to use handling units with project stock (SOBKZ = Q). While it's easy to create handling units on project stock with HU02 it does not seem to be possible with HUPAST. System does not allow the edit the field SOBKZ in HUPAST.
Does anybody know how to create handling units with batches from project stock using the transaction HUPAST?
    Thanks BR

  • Multiplant stock handling

    Hi,
In SNP we want to club stock of sub contracting plants at manufacturing location. To do that we are using macro on ATD receipts key figure to add subcotracting to stock of manufacturing locations.
We have made copy of std planning book and have chnaged stock balance macro.Syntax we are using is
    Stock Clubbing Auxillary : ( 27 Iterations :Initial; W 38.2010 )
Row: Stock Clubbing Auxillary ( Frm Initial ) =
    PHYSICAL_STOCK( ACT_PRODUCT ; 'PN02' ; '000' ; 'CC' )
    ATD receipts calculation : ( 1 Iterations :Initial;Initial )
    IF
    PN04 condition
    VALUE_CONTAINED( 'PN04' ; ACT_LOCATION ) = 1
Row: ATD Receipts ( Frm Initial ) =
Row: ATD Receipts ( Frm Initial )
    +
Row: Stock Clubbing Auxillary ( Frm Initial )
    ELSE
Row: ATD Receipts ( Frm Initial ) =
Row: ATD Receipts ( Frm Initial )
    ENDIF
Here we want to add stock of PN02(subcontracting) to PN04. So we added auxillary row to read stock of Pn02 and then in ATD receipts calculation we are considering auxillary row also.
Currently with this macro we are facing issue is that on PN04 macro working fine. at pn04 ATD receipts = ( stock of PN04+ stock of Pn02) but stock aggregation happening on PN02 also which is nt required. I think we are making mistake in declaring IF conditon. Can u pls revert with correct syntax

  • Serial port definitions/handling questions

    Xserve (brand spanking new), 10.6.2
1- Setting speed for the tty.serial port
I edited, as documnented, the /etc/ttys file to use "serial.9600" instead of "serial.57600" which unfortunatly is now default for the one serial port of the Xserve. Then I "kill -HUP 1" to get launchd to refresh its definition. No difference.
In the end, out of desperation after many trials without success, I edit /etc/getttytab and change sp#57600 to sp#9600 in the serial.57600 definition and this finally worked.
This sort of indicates to me that launchd no longer uses /etc/ttys but some other hidden file where the serial.57600 is assigned to getty and tty.serial.
Anyone know where the serial ports are now defined ?
Also, once the system is up, is there a way to release the port from the login process so that I could make an outbound connection using cu/screen ?

    Thanks for the responses.
I suspected it was in a PLIST, but I am not yet used to the Snow Leopard finder to get to "unix" directory and hadn't gotted a list of files in that directory and figured it was empty and that the launchd plists were elsewhere. Argh ! That is what lack of sleep does
I take it that in that plist, the "SessionCreate" refers to the "on" or "off" that one uses in ttys ?
Also, if I am to get an 8 port USB gizmo, would I be adding them to the comp.apple.xserve.serial-ports plist ? In which case, I take it that the launchctl control is an all or nothing, unable to control individual ports ? Should I then create individual plists for each port so I can control them individually ?
BTW, while launchctl unload did remove the getty process assigned to tty.serial, the port is still marked as "Line in use" and "cu" unable to use it.

  • USB Port Error Handling

    Merhaba,
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Merhaba Azmi Bey,

    Hi,
The solution for creating inbound delivery that you people have suggested is already in place. The problem is not with creation of inbound delivery but with assigning the material HUs to the inbound delivery. As material HUs are having status assigned to Shipment Document which is created after outbound  delivery is processed. How should I go about it? Even after status of shipment document is made complete, assignment of HUs to inbound delivery is not possible. Please help to resolve this issue.

  • How to change the Number of IVR ports in a UCCX?

I know this question has been asked before but it needs to be asked again, as previous answers do not seem to apply.   The simple quesiton is:  If you have a UCCX and if after install you check you check License information and you note that you have 150 IVR ports; how do you increase the number of ports to 300?
I have been told that the number of ports is set by the class of the machine hardware and is not a license issue.   Others have suggested it is a license issue?   At the end of the day, however, I want a step by step procedure for adding more IVR ports to my deployment.   Even if that means buying more licenses (though I can not find a SKU).
I have several clients that have UCCX and are having calls that exceed the number of IVR ports.   Before we get into a discussion of CTI ports or Call Controll Groups, let me identify that I think they are the same.    I can create a CTI Call Control Group with 300 paths, but if I only have 150 IVR ports I am in serious trouble on the 151 call!
I had a lab system that installed under vmware with 150 ports.  No matter how I tried to configure the CVA it always came up 150 ports!   I added a NFR license to my lab and magically it turned it into a 12 IVR system, so licensing does have something to do with it!
I have htis experience on Version 8 and now on Version 9!   I need more IVR ports than appear in the installation.  I want to know exactly the steps needed to increase the number of IVR ports to the maxium of 300 for an enhanced system!
I can refer CISOC TAC to several tickets I have opened on this subject all with unsatisactory answers!  Most recently 626743961

    Here's the long answer
Peter Buswell wrote:I know this question has been asked before but it needs to be asked again, as previous answers do not seem to apply.   The simple quesiton is:  If you have a UCCX and if after install you check you check License information and you note that you have 150 IVR ports; how do you increase the number of ports to 300?
Since I see below that you mentioned that the system in question is Enhanced, the answer is simply, install on faster hardware.  Presently the best hardware you can get is VMWare ESXi with the 400 Agent License OVA, which gives you 400 IVR Port Licenses.
Standard licensing works the same as Enhanced, as far as IVR Port licenses go.
If you were wondering about Premium, then it's a 1:2 ratio of agent:ports.  You cannot buy Premium ports directly, instead you buy them indirectly through the process of buying Premium Agent seats.  So if you had a Premium UCCX with 100 Agents, you would have 200 ports, and if you desired to have 250 ports, you simply buy 25 more Premium Agent seats.  Premium does still need to adhere to the hardware limits.  I have seen partners sell someone an Enhanced UCCX which gave them 300 ports, but they only had like 50 Agents.  A year later, the customer upgraded to Premuim, but only bought 50 seats, and thus downgraded their port license count to 100.  A third of what they had!  The solution?  Buy 100 more Premium Agent seats so your total goes up to 150 Agents, and thus your ports go up to 300.
Peter Buswell wrote:I have been told that the number of ports is set by the class of the machine hardware and is not a license issue.   Others have suggested it is a license issue?
These are both correct statements.  Just remember, that it's licensed based first for Premium, then hardware limited.  Standard and Enhanced are hardware limited only.
Peter Buswell wrote:At the end of the day, however, I want a step by step procedure for adding more IVR ports to my deployment.   Even if that means buying more licenses (though I can not find a SKU).
Again, for Standard and Enhanced, you need to move to bigger/better hardware to get more ports, assuming you're not already at the meximum of 400.
Here is the document which walks you through moving to bigger hardware: Disaster Recovery Guide
And for Premium, you need to purchase the SKU for a Premium Agent Seat license.  It's a 1:2 ratio for agents:ports.
Peter Buswell wrote:I have several clients that have UCCX and are having calls that exceed the number of IVR ports.
I'm not a partner, nor in sales, but I thought there was an A2Q process which validates CC designs for sales people.  At any rate, it sounds like they were either under sized or outgrew their overhead, and something needs to be done.
Sometimes you can simply dump excess calls off.  Think about playing a high call volume message to callers and then drop them.
Other times you can drop them into voicemail, and come back to it later.
I've seen some basic call back functionality implemented with an external data source, which could alleviate ports.
Lastly, I've seen improperly designed scripts which loop on themselves or other scripts, causing a high port usage.
My point is that there's a few options here, outside of simply increasing the size of the server or purchasing new licenses.  There's no one size fits all answer though.
Peter Buswell wrote:Before we get into a discussion of CTI ports or Call Controll Groups, let me identify that I think they are the same.
Are you saying that CTI Ports and Call Control Groups are the same?  Or that CTI Ports/CCG's are the same as IVR Port Licenses?  Cause the former is true, while the latter is not.  Think "oversubscribed" CTI Ports.
Sometimes it is advantageous to oversubscribe your CTI Ports, to achieve a more dynamic environment.  E.g., I have 100 ports, and all 100 are used for inbound calls.  I develope a single inbound app, which is limited to 10 ports, and handles small bursts of calls.  What happens is that, if the new inbound app is running, the most it can "steal" from the inbound calls is 10 ports.  However, if the app is not running (because it doesn't run all day, it's mostly bursty in nature), I can still have my regular inbound calls go all the way up to 100.
Peter Buswell wrote:I can create a CTI Call Control Group with 300 paths, but if I only have 150 IVR ports I am in serious trouble on the 151 call!
This is true.  Again, you need to decide if you really need the extra ports, of if there is some solution to solving this problem without making a hardware/license purchase.  These kinds of problems still exist for customers at the 400 port level, and they don't have the option to "buy more."
Well, that's not entirely true.  While you cannot grow past the 400 port limit today, you could install another UCCX instance on the same CUCM cluster, effectively doubling your capacity, but breaking your administration into two separate domains.
Peter Buswell wrote:I had a lab system that installed under vmware with 150 ports.  No matter how I tried to configure the CVA it always came up 150 ports!
    What's CVA?
Peter Buswell wrote:I added a NFR license to my lab and magically it turned it into a 12 IVR system, so licensing does have something to do with it!
The NFR is most likely a Premium license.  Refer back to the 1:2 ratio, and that would tell me you have an NFR license for 6 Premium Agents.  Installing a higher level license on a lower level licensed system brings the whole system up to the higher level.  Recall my partner story about the Enhanced to Premium upgrade scenario.
Peter Buswell wrote:I have htis experience on Version 8 and now on Version 9!
The licensing doesn't change from 8x to 9x.
Peter Buswell wrote:I need more IVR ports than appear in the installation.  I want to know exactly the steps needed to increase the number of IVR ports to the maxium of 300 for an enhanced system!
You buy bigger/better hardware, and use the link I provided above for moving to that new hardware.

I would be surprised if there is a single Cisco TAC person who doesn't understand this simply IVR Port licensing model.  Perhaps there was some miscommunication about what was being asked, and what answer was being given.
I hope that helped to clarify some things for you.  Also, if you are a partner, reach out to your CAM and ask for a one on one with a UCCX guru who can sit down with you.  Cisco would want you to be successful with selling their products.

We are contacting external wcf web services. We don't control these services and they could be returning an exception for a short while (which is "ok"), so we need to retry for a given period of time, without suspending the orchestration/sendport.
It used to be simple with web services (.asmx) since the send port would handle the retries as soon as an exception was returned from the web services. With wcf services and the soap fault, it is much more cumbersome.
I know how to do it from an orchestration, but it does add a lot of clutter (have an extra "initialization" construct block so visual studio shuts up about the uninitialized message coming back from the wcf service, define documentspecnames in
our case, define xpath expressions for the fault and the expected response, have a loop, a delay, more variables/expressions, scope, exception block, etc. etc.) for such a simple requirement. We need to contact a couple of wcf services in an orchestration
and the handling of the retries makes it quite large and unfriendly (and this is mostly the retry logic for these wcf services).
So, is there any way to have the send port adapter handle the retries when receiving an exception from a wcf service like it used to be with regular web services?

Thanks for you answer, yes I understand that the SOAP fault is just another message and that I need to act accordingly in the orchestration. I'm not refuting that, I'm just looking for a better solution than the one I have now (which seems overly complicated
    to me).
I have to specify the documentspecname because we use the built-in xmlreceive pipeline and the type of the exception that the wcf services return is standardized in our organisation... so there are many copies of the schema of this exception deployed on
the servers. I need to specify the schema of the exception coming from my wcf reference in my assembly otherwise I get the "I can't find the right schema blabla" exception.
Of course, if I can stop using the XMLReceive pipeline, I wouldn't have to specify the documentspecname... I'll have to research in detail what this pipeline is doing and see if I can replicate it's functionality, with the addition of the check for the error
    in the returned message.
I just want to be sure before proceeding... If I raise an exception in a custom pipeline, the send port retry configuration would apply?

  • How read from the HDMI Input Port?

Pulling down the Add Media menu in my Premiere Elements 11 window, I do not see an HDMI port input.
My Dell XPS ONE PC (running Win 8.1 Pro) has an HDMI Input port.
I would like to pull audio/video off this port into Premiere Elements 11 to edit and save to a disk file.
    Any ideas on this?
    Thank you!

    AT,
    Thank you for your reply.
First to comment on DV, HDV data capture.  Yes, reading Adobe documentation I see the Premier Elements data capture works with Firewire.
For example, one Adobe document is at:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/setting-system.html
The HDMI port in this diagram is an output port on the camcorder and connects to a TV set.  That way the user can monitor the data capture in progress.
I suspect that most PC's and laptops, like the DV/HDV camcorder labeled with letter "D." in the Adobe diagram have an HDMI output port only.  The intent is to put the screen or video content out to an external TV.
Some PC's now, as does my Dell XPS, include an HDMI input port.  It is connector # 15 on the diagram for the XPS at
    ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_xps_desktop/xps-one-27-2710- aio_Setup%20Guide_en-us.pdf
To make my post brief and concise I purposely left out any detail about the input device.  I believe HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface.  I want to assume some high definition (and therefore high speed) digital data stream accompanied by a digital audio stream is coming into the PC.  Whatever HDMI supports, the HDMI hardware on the PC input port should handle.
As one example, I should be able to play a file from my DVR into the PC over the HDMI input port. This might be a saved TV show or a clip from a DV/HDV camera recording.
That's just an example. But, what I am trying to do is recover the video/audio off an old Samsung SCL901 Hi8 camcorder.  I was asked and I told my acquaintance I would try.
The camcorder interface is the legacy S-video port.  A second audio port (3.5 mm female jack) carries (as you know) only mono audio (left side in the stereo cable).
One thing to do is to play the camcorder Hi8 tape into my DVR.  The DVR has a legacy S-Video port and phono plugs for the audio right in the front panel.  Then burn a DVD.  Then put the DVD in the PC, read it into Premier Elements and edit the material.
Instead, what I'd like to do is play the tape right into the PC.  There seems to be a lot of legacy media that folks have just let sit around way too long.  And now the world has passed them by.  Enough people that apparently some companies have built converters.
I looked at this S-video to HDMI converter.
    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Composite-S-Video-and-HDMI-to-HDMI-Converter-and-Switch-w-HDMI-P AL-NTSC-Support/39457809
This is a Roku brand S-Video to HDMI converter.  It upsamples the legacy 480i to 720p or 1080p HDMI digital signal.
The Roku converter appears to get the S-Video into the PC hardware.  Then what?
It was sort of wishful thinking pulling down the “Add Media” menu tab in Premier Elements 11, wanting to read from the HDMI Input port.
Still, Adobe does magical things, so I thought I would ask in this forum.
So “Yes” to your add-on question at the end of your post.  I was thinking of capture via HDMI.  And I agree with your first impression that this is not possible.
It could be there is software available from somewhere that will dump the HDMI port on the PC directly into an AVI, MOV, Microsoft, Flash, mpeg, DVD or some other standard file format.  Then Premier Elements can open the file for further editing.
AT, I appreciate your response and comments on this project.  They have been useful guides.  Thank you so much for your time.

  • Material placed at Port & release from custom

    Hi All,
We have received some material from the import vendor. The material is presently on the port. We have hired some space on the port itself which we could consider as our external warehouse wherein the material would be loaded. Now as when this material is required we will pay them the custom charges & get that material released. How can we cater such situation in our sap wherein we can have the stock status of that external warehouse.
    Thanks
    Ashok Verma

    hi
    check the following threads
    Import Order
    Re: High sea procurement ????
    CHECk following process(not tested )
    Tracking at port
think u are looking for following
So at the time of purchase order creation - ME21N system take by default tracking import in purchase order -> Conformation tab -> confirmation control -> Tracking Import.
You can maintain below mention status in Tracking Import,
    Acknowledge by Vendor
    Dispatched by Vendor
    Arrived at Port
    Clearance at Port
    Stocked at Port
    Dispatch. to Factory
After maintain this you can map all process of import purchase.
Exa: - If you purchase material from import market and you prepaid import purchase order - ME21N and maintain tracking import in purchase order.
Then maintain vendor acknowledge when vendor receive your purchase order.
You can maintain dispatch detail by vendor at the time of vendor dispatch etc.
Due to this you can find out actual status of import purchase.
If in your company tracking import is not activated.
So you can config it with below path.
SPRO - Materials Management - Purchasing - Purchase Order - Confirmations - Define External Confirmation Categories.
Here you can define status of tracking import like
    Acknowledge by Vendor
    Dispatched by Vendor
    Arrived at Port
    Clearance at Port
    Stocked at Port
    Dispatch. to Factory.
SPRO - Materials Management - Purchasing - Purchase Order - Confirmations - Define Internal Confirmation Categoriess.
Here active Order Acknowledgment - Z1 - Acknowledge by Vendor.
    Then
SPRO - Materials Management - Purchasing - Purchase Order - Confirmations - Set Up Confirmation Control.
Create Tracking Import - 0004 and assign confirmation sequence.
    Acknowledge by Vendor
    Dispatched by Vendor
    Arrived at Port
    Clearance at Port
    Stocked at Port
    Dispatch. to Factory
At last record Dispatch to Factory, Here click on three indicators as per below mention detail,
    Iindicator for MRP - Relevant
    Indicator for GR - Relevant
    Indicator for GR - Assignmentt,
Also assign Reference date. Then follow above mention process
    regards
    kunal

  • Problem in stock feild

    i have problem .
    1. my last valualted stock/bun feild gives me my stock value . but . when i see in my report . i see the stock is double the times of my r/3 stock .
    ex : r/3:-200.00
      in bw :- 400.00 .
what could be the problem why it is showing double.
how to slove it any ideas . thanks in advance .

    Hello,
please check the definition of your stock key figure.
    Trabsaction RSD1
Here you can find the Inflow and Outlow key figures. When you add theses key figures in your report you can see how the stock is calculated.
If you not understand how the stock handling works in BW. Please check the How to paper:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/developerareas/bi.sdn?contenttype=url&content=/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/how to handle inventory management scenarios in bw.pdf
Or check the on http://help.sap.com for non cumulative key figures.
    Kind reg.
    Michael
ps. please assign some points, if the answer helps.

  • Rxtx listening port

Hello, i use rxtx lib for developing an app which uses serial communication.
i use listening method and i add a SerialListener to serialPort object but it didn' work, even if i send some data to port there is no event occures. How can i solve this?

            else
                CommPort commPort = portIdentifier.open(this.getClass().getName(),2000);
if ( commPort instanceof SerialPort )
                    SerialPort serialPort = (SerialPort) commPort;
                    serialPort.setSerialPortParams(9600,SerialPort.DATABITS_8,SerialPort.STOPBITS_1,SerialPort.PARITY_NONE);
                    serialPort.addEventListener(this);
                    in = serialPort.getInputStream();
                    out = serialPort.getOutputStream();
                else
                    System.out.println("Error: Only serial ports are handled by this example.");
    }

I've worked with RXTX before, your problem is pretty simple as I've searched for it too:
after you add the eventlistener to the serial port add this code:
    serialPort.addEventListener(this);
    // add following code line
serialPort.notifyOnDataAvailable(true); This "triggers" the listener to notify when it receives something. You can find more on it on the internet I guess, but without it, the listener won't work.
I'm pretty confident this is what you are searching for.

  • IMac i7 Quad-Core firewire port and video camera

Has anybody tried to detect a video camera connected to the firewire 800 port?
I have already tried with two PRO tape-based DV video cameras: SONY PD170 and PANASONIC AG-HVX200E with no results. The same models do not have any problem with iMac 27" Core Duo 2.
Apple care protection plan has been useful only to know that if my iMac firewire port can handle an external Hard Disk, as it does, the compatibility with the camera is not a problem of Apple, but simply mine.
Any suggestion? Any help to find official pages by Apple with technical specification about firewire port and protocol of the new iMac 27" i7?
    Thanks, Carlo

Today my Mac has finally been fixed. I had to send it to Milano, to SATA srl, where they have replaced the logic board. Now I can import video from my video camera using the FireWire port. Thank SATA!!!
