Does anyone know of a small portable DVR that can accept a USB webcam as the input?

I have one of these at my office.
If I remember correctly, you grasp the end of the case: the end with the USB and FW plug-ins, and pull it out from the outer plastic shell.
Then, just connect the IDE drive cable, attach the power-cord, and place the 4 plastic glides at each corner of the inside case, and slide the powerboard back into the case.
There should be several screws in the leather case which you use, some to screw the HD to the power board, and some to screw closed the powerboard to the case.
I suspect OWC has online instructions with diagrams /pictures also.

Access 2010 Chart - Report returns an identical chart for every record in the underyling query
Hi there, I hope someone can help me with this. I've created a stacked column chart in a Report. The chart seems to be working fine but my report is returning a chart for every record in the source query. The chart adds up the days each vehicle in
a fleet was used in a given time frame. I'm not a code writer so wizarded my way to the following:

The chart seems to be producing exactly what I want but it's repeated once for every record in the source query. I don't know if this is the issue but I don't have a Master/Child field linking the chart to the report it's in - chart is unbound and therefore
won't allow me to link fields. I'd sure appreciate any help you can offer! Thanks!
(Incidentally VehicleUseForMonthStarting is a date field - ideally it should be shown as a DatePart MMMM but for whatever reason Access is balking at the Format expression.)

Its an file to file scenario
suppose there are 5 rows in a file , then in target side i need to create 5 diff with each one record in it.
Can we do it without using 3 comm channels

As a more generic solution, can you try using MultiMapping. It is supposed to generate multiple instances of messages on receiver side.

Problem with implemnting delete for each record in the report
Hello all,
I am having trouble implementing the following requirement in my application.
In the reports, in each row..I need a delete button. Only few Users( Managers/Administrators) should be able to view this button. Rest should be able to see the normal report. Also when the user clicks on delete, the record should not be actually deleted but a column named Active/Inactive should be made InActive.( The report has only records which are active).
My problem is when the user clicks on edit button, I dont want to go to another page and perform delete operation. I should be able to modify the record in the same report page. Is this possible?
It would be really great if someone can give me inputs on how to do this..

Unable to search for first record using the Preview tree

Users are unable to search for the first record in the Preview tab's tree. The reason for this is because the first record is within the first page header of the report. My guess is that, by design, Crystal takes the end user to whatever the first instance of the record iseven if that first record is in a page header. That's not "good". I want the user to be taken to the first record within the details of the reportnot within the page header.
I have suppressed the page header to not print on the first record by using OnFirstRecord. But, I still get the same issue where end users cannot select the first record in the tree without being taken to the page header. Very strange.
Can anybody think of any other ideas?

I'll include their response because it gives the reason for the search failure as document compression which you might find interesting. I'll await their new catalogue and see if they have fixed the problem.

Thank you very much for your input. And yes, you are correct, the compression we used for the current catalogue's PDF format does strip out text included in the catalogue. We used the compression settings we did with the intention of minimising download time, however I take your point about including text for search purposes (which I also utilise when I'm scanning through PDFs).
We will actually be posting out our new catalogue next week and we'll release the new PDF version on the website at the same time. I've asked our graphic designer to ensure that the PDF we use for the new catalogue includes searchable text. -
DB Adapter: Polling For New Records returns the First record multiple Times
I Polling for New or Chnaged Records against DB2 on iSeries. The DB Adapter returns the first record from the Table multiple Times. If the Table has 5 records it displays the first record 5 times. I am using BPEL 10.1.3.1 Can anyone help me with this.

Problem
When you execute a query, you may get the correct number of rows, but some rows appear multiple times and others do not appear at all.
This behavior is typically because the primary key is configured incorrectly. If the database adapter reads two different rows that it thinks are the same (for example, the same primary key), then it writes both rows into the same instance and the first row's values are overwritten by the second row's values.
Solution
Open Application Sources > TopLink > TopLink Mappings. In the Structure window, double-click PHONES. On the first page, you should see Primary Keys. Make sure that the correct columns are selected to make a unique constraint.
Save and then edit the database partner link.
Click Next to the end, and then click Finish and Close.
Open your toplink_mappings.xml file. For the PHONES descriptor, you should see something like this:

I have a Customer database with the tables tblCustomers and tblAddress. The tblCustomers has the following fields; CustomerID, CustomerName. The tblAddress has the following fields; CustomerID, Address, Town, County, ArriveDate. When a customer calls us
we start a new record with the CustomerID, CustomerName, Address, Town, County. The ArriveDate is left blank. When my service guy calls to the customer he fills in the ArriveDate field. We do not have a LeaveDate field. He could be there from 1 day up
to 5 days. Each day he is is there he adds another record with all the above data, including the date in the ArriveDate field. If he finishes on a Friday he will take Saturday and Sunday off. On Monday he moves to the next customer, he has a new
customer/location record waiting for him, as before he fills in the ArriveDate and starts working. If he finishes with a customer midweek he will go straight to the next customer where there is a new customer/location record waiting for him to fill in
the ArriveDate. It looks something along these lines;

For the results of the query, I think you accord the logic below to find the DepartDate, but the sql query would be much complex.

In the first column the “1/4/2015” is not in the ArriveDate, and then the “1/3/2015” would be the date for DepartDate.
I am not familiar with sql query, I think you need to ask the sql experts for help.

I currently testing Adobe LiveCycle to create a PDF form with data link to a database (Access).
The goal of my form is for the manager of each of our site to write variable about the paycheck of each employe. So first I create my AccessDatabase with a simple structure :
N : Auto Number
Matricule : Employe ID
Nom : Name
Prenom : First Name
Service : Service (Accounting...)
HeureMensuelBase : Contract hour information for the mouth

So after, I create my ODBC connexion and insite AdobeLiveCycle, Data View, Create a connexion > Next > ODBC String connexion > SQL Request > SELECT * FROM Table_Access; > Next > Finish. Great I retreive all my fields. If I preview the PDF I can correctly see the first record of my database.
My goal is to create two differents buttons to navigate inside :
NEXT with the follow code :

PREV with the follow code :

Header line missing for multiple records in the Receiver Email.
I have a file to email scenario
I see the content in mapping has proper output with all the HDRs and ITMS. but when it comes throught the receiver it is missing the HDRs.

I am missing the HDR for the subsequent recodrs and the subsequent items are shown as if they are the items of the first HDR1. I checked the Mapping the mapping output and it looks good, but when i actually get the email i see it missing susequent HDRs.When I was at a client on 11.5.10, I ended up creating a personalization on the Requisitions screen.
If someone created a requisition with 2 ship to orgs, it raised an error.
It was not full proof but it was deemed satisfactory by the client.
You can consider personalization or you can modify the requisition approval workflow to include the check for multiple ship-to condition.

I have purchased a Bose portable speaker to connect to my ipod touch, the ipod finds the speaker ok and the music plays whilst the ipod is next to it but once I start to walk away from the speaker the music stops, if i walk back towards the speaker the music starts again, you are suppoed to be able to walk around with ipod in your hand and play the music, change tracks etc. I bought the Bose speaker as someone I know already has one and showed me theres and how it worked, he can walk away from the speaker with his ipod touch no problem, so I dont know why mine wont, same speaker, same ipod, does anyone know

LSMW me51n, how to create one PR document for all the records in the file

I need to create LSMW for t-code me51n -Create Purchase Requisition. I`m using Bapi BUS2105, method CREATEFROMDATA, idoc message type PREQCR, basic type PREQCR03. The problem is that the LSMW is creating different idoc and different PR document for every record in the source file. My requirement is to create one PR document for one source file (Every source file is different Purchase Requisition) . I`m trying to do this with writing some code(global functions ) in the 'Mapping and conversion rules' events - BEGINOF_TRANSACTION_, ENDOF_TRANSACTION__..., but i`m not very sure what exactly i`m doing .
Please help me resolve this problem, any help will be appreciated .

But I have found faster way of doing it - two source structures, one HEADER and ONE ITEM.
HEADER: one empty text field and identificator for it.
ITEM: everything else.
Then everything was just fine, i`ve mapped the different IDOC segments by PREQ_ITEM fields (equal values in the source file : 10-10-10..., 20-20-20,.... etc.) and put all required fields for my LSMW

How to set Display Only for some records in CAT2 Worklist
Hi,
I have a requirement to modify an attributes for some records in the Worklist of CAT2.
We have an external system where we book our time. Weekly we import data from that external system into CATSDB using BAPI for every single employee.
We would like when the user wants to modify his time sheet to be able to add/modify all records except those which were imported from the external system. Which means that those records should be in Display only mode / grayed out / before release.
Is there any user exit or BADI that could help to modify that attribute and that will be triggered before displaying the Worklist ?

StefanI've solved the problem.
First I've added customer field in CI_CATSDB structure and when I am importing the data I am populating that field with 'X', which means that this is record from the external application.
I've created enhancement implementation in Function group->CATS, screen->2003 MODULE->D2000_MODIFY_LOOP, subroutine->modify_d2000_loop where I am checking the field mentioned above if it is 'X' I am modifying the screnn-output = off.

Reading long text for more records at a time
Hi all,
We have a requirement for which that data like textid textname textobject and language must be taken in to an internal table and for each record in the internal table i have to read the long text inorder to compare the long text for the given search text.
If i use Read_text inside the loop and endloop it works but it may not be appropriate in performance point of view.
Is there any function module which can read long texts for more records at a time.
The long text data in STXL will be in raw data format right? is there any way to convert raw data to normal so that by hitting the STXL i can read the long text data for more than one record at a time.

Below is a code snippet which describes reading a long text frm the screen and appending it into the internal table.This code is actually to read the text from the screen and inserting a record into STXl and STXH.
From your query what i understood is that you are storing the long text from the screen into a internal table and so you not want to use the read_text FM due to performance issue.
Since tdline(tline table) is 132 char long format i use this small logic to read the screen data and append it to my internal table.

Way to Play Adobe Projector file on Mac OS X
