Portal 7.0  " Processing HTTP request to servlet [jsp] finished with error."

Hi
I just did a system copy for portal 7.0 from my production to quality system.
The import finished successfully and java instance is up and running
We were earlier using jdk 1.4.2 , but moved to JVM 6.1 during the import of the java stack and now the java application is using JVM 6.1 instead of JDK 1.4.2
I m getting the attached error when i m trying to connect with main page of the portal
Plz let me know why is this happenning?
Thanks and Regards
Tushar

Hi
Have you tried in any other browser ?
Check  the detailed error log in defaultTrace file   under /usr/sap/SID/<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluser/server0/log.
Open the page again and  check  defaulttrace in above directory

    Hi Taiye,
According to your description, in theory, we can modify the size of database, and the T-SQL statement in your post is right. So we need to verify if there is no problem with network when you execute the modification statement, in addition, you must be connected
to the master database when executing the ALTER DATABASE statement. As the error message, I recommend you login again and connect to the master database then run the statement again.
For more information, see: ALTER DATABASE (Windows Azure SQL Database)
If the error is still exist, the Microsoft support engineer will help to solve the problem from backend. Sometime delay might be expected. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Ivan!
The fact the this code worked fine yesterday or is working fine in Dev but not in another system proves nothing. On the contrary, the stack trace confirms that the problem stems from your custom code com.vatti.mes.common.web.BaseServlet.doError(BaseServlet.java:61). The obvious thing is that the method here is called "doError" that likely means you either face some error there or intentionally generate error message. After that the system tries to log the error message but it looks as if com.sap.me.frame.Utils.getStackTrace method gets null as an input parameter e. How does it get triggered and what is passed into - this is a question to your developers.

  • Servlet/JSP problems with WL 4.51

    Hi all
I have a set of Servlets and JSPs running on NewAtlanta's ServletExec
servlet engine. I am currently porting them to WebLogic. I am facing a
few problems. I do not want to change any of my HTML/JSP/Java files
immediately. I want the same files to work in WL as it is. Pl help.
              1. The servlets in ServletExec used to be invoked as
http://host/servlet/servletName. But in weblogic they are invoked
as http://host/servletName. I tried registering the servlet names
              in weblogic.properties as
              weblogic.httpd.register.servlet/XServlet=com.foo.XServlet
              weblogic.httpd.initArgs.servlet/XServlet=param=value
Now I can call this servlet as http://host/servlet/XServlet and so
I dont have to change any html/JSP files. Will this cause any
              problems in the future?
              2. Since we used to run ServletExec on IIS, we created a virtual
directory called /jsp in IIS under which we had all the html and
JSP files. Our servlets will get the http requests, get data from
database, put the results in session/request variables and dispatch
it to appropriate JSP page. So, all our servlet code looks like
              this:
              RequestDispatcher dispatcher =
              getServletContext().getRequestDispatcher("/jsp/test.jsp");
              dispatcher.forward(request, response);
How do I make this code work with WebLogic? Is there any way to
create virtual directory and make it work like in IIS?
              Thanks for any help.

    You might try
              weblogic.httpd.register.jsp/*.jsp=weblogic.servlet.JSPServlet
but a better/ easier way would be to just move all of your jsp files to a 'jsp'
              subdirectory beneath public_html

    Dear All,
We have implemented standard Leave request process, we are facing the issue as mentioned below, Its not happening for all the time, however we want to what scenario   this problem will arrives.
    Problem description:
E.g. Staff applied annual leave on 10.06.2010, the leave request will sent for approval , after the approval of the leave ,every 30 min. we have scheduled a job which will execute standard program RPTARQPOST to post a leave request to IT2001.
After the approval when staff go into ess and see leave request details under "Show Overview of Leave" and its shows as 2 records for the same period one with APPROVED and another one with ERROR.

    Hi Annul,
Please check SAP Note 986003 - ESS LEA: Incorrect ERROR status for records in RPTARQPOST.

  • Request of one report fails with error: unable to extend tablespace

    Hi All,
When I submit one request of report, the request end up with error:
unable to extend temp segment by 128 in tablespace XXXX
The request costs too much tablespace in short time, but the temp is about 20 G large.
The sever have been add storage recently, but I don't know whether it is related to the performance issue, because the request had not such issue.
How do I deal with it ?
    Thanks,
    Xinya

  • Class javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext compilation error

During Rebuild/compilation of the JSP files inside JDeveloper, I am encountering the compilation error "Error(548,78): method handlepageException (java.lang.Throwable) not found in class javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext. When I developed the same application under IBM WSAD, I included the library com.ibm.servlet.jar and will take care of it. Which Oracle Jdeveloper lib I need to include? Since it is a servlet library error, I tried to include the Oracle "Servlet APIC Classes" but it didn't fix the problem. Thanks in advance!

hmmm... i had a look and it seems that what you are trying to "import" is actually in a package... instead of import try:
package javax.servlet.jsp;you may need to go download this "package" and complile it in the directory you are working in.
my advice: try the above statement (which does compile for me), if it doesn't work, you will need to find the source code for this package and compile it just like you do any other source code.
    hope this helps.

  • Request User State Store Fails with error code 0x00004005

I am trying to get a machine refresh working in SCCM and am running into a road block with the user state migration. The Task sequence hits Request user state store and then fails. In the logs on the machine it shows it downloads the cert from the SMP but it fails to verify the cert. The thing is that this was working and then stopped for no apparent reason. I have added a second SMP and it has the same issue so its got to be something environmental causing this. I have found no references to the errors I am recieving that relate to the issue so I am stumped. We have a SCCM 2007 site in mixed mode. The error log is:
The task sequence execution engine failed executing the action (Request User State Storage) in the group (Capture User Files and Settings) with the error code 16389 Action output: ployment\osdsmpclient\smpclient.cpp,1743) Request to SMP 'ATXFREPSMS01.NA.atxglobal.com' failed with error (Code 0x80090006). Hi
I am getting the same issue.
    More info:
The same task works ok for one client - an xp machine that was upgraded to vista sp1 using sccm but without usmt.
If I send this machine a task which includes usmt and os deploy it works.
On 2 other machines ( so far) , the request store fails with the same error  - 0x80090006. (one of them existing vista and the other xp)
I have tried removing and adding the client from the domain but it did not help.
    Any idea?
    David
