Portal application not displaying correctly with frame size 125% in IE

Dear Expert,
We are facing issue in Portal (7.0) like, when I open the application "Products Coatings" in myWorkspace with Internet Explorer
display size 100% the frame "xyz" is displayed correctly:But When I open the application "Product Coatings" in myWorkspace with Internet Explorer display size 125% the same frame is NOT displayed correctly.
Someone can help me in closing this issue..

Hello, I have had my Skype number for several years and it's been no problem for those with Caller ID to have my Skype number displayed when receiving a call from me. However, the past few months this has changed dramatically. Yes, I have read that FAQ and I realize Caller ID does not work for all countries. But that same FAQ indicates that Caller ID is available for the U.S. And this is where I make the majority of my calls. However, as I mentioned in my original post, my Caller ID has NOT been displayed for several months. What is displayed are randomly changing phone numbers and names that have no bearing whatsoever with anything related to my actual Skype number or name. I've done my own testing when calling my home phone from Skype. I'll call multiple times in quick succession and I will get different results each and every time. Adf application not rendered correctly with url ip and url localhost.

Hi all.
I have a strange problem. When I enter to my adf application deployed in a local stand alone weblogic server with the ip:
http://localhost:7001/Application/faces/index
it renders fine. But when I load it with the url:
http://10.5.14.15:7001/Application/faces/index (private ip), it doesn´t render fine. Tables haven´t the same style, and some elements appear selected like if I have selected them with the mouse.
This problem only happens with internet explorer, not with Chrome.
Also when I see a table inside a region in a jspx, the with of the header of the columns is not rendered correctly, causing the width of the header row not be the same than the other rows.
This problem also happens only with internet explorer.
Any help please?

What would the DOCTYPE have to do with the IP address?
Have you looked at the HTML source in the different browsers and tried to debug what's wrong? Sounds like there may be some images/css files that aren't being downloaded in IE when you use that IP address. Are you sure IE isn't configured with a proxy?

TextArea text not displayed correctly with ImageSnapshot

I am having an issue with the ImageSnapshot.captureImage command capturing the text in a TextArea. Attached are two files illustrating the issue. The "screenshot.jpg" pic shows how the TextArea controls are displayed on the screen. The "created jpg.jpg" pic shows how the text is displayed in the jpg that is created. Below is the code that creates the snapshot, everything is pretty standard there as far as I can tell. The text is obviously not sized the same from one to the other. Any ideas whats going on here or what I can do to correct it?

Portal is not displayed correctly

Hi,
I had Browser Lab and Firebug installed and tried to capture the screen on a web page from intranet. The page consisted of 3 x 2 portals, 3 rows and 2 columns. On the result displayed, the portals were displayed sequentially row by row. Kindly advise.

Yes, I used BrowserLab for Firebug extension and chose "Preview Local Source". My screen resolution was 1366 x 768 and browser window was on full screen. By setting the screen resolution to 1024x768, it was still showing 3x2 portal layout and BrowserLad showed sequential content display instead of 3x2. This only happened on page from secured site. I tried on the same page from public site and the portal showed 3x2 portal layout.

Portal Content not displayed correctly when downloaded as mht file

Hi,
When I find interesting articles on SDN (and other Web Sides, too) I normally download them in MHT format (Web Archive) to be able to read them offline.
Technically, the download of SDN articles via MHT format works without any problems but when opening them I get a blank article page (the header and banner is available)
Is there something wrong with my IE8 settings (I had the same issue also with older IE versions) or is this an issue caused by the format used by SDN?

As you mentioned you have created Custom Woekset.
Have you assigned Page to your custom Workset?
can you double check and Make sure that your Page contains iView.
Are you able to Preview the page? t is your content loading in the page as expected.
If yes open the your Custom WS Trace your page and then trace your iView check PCD locations. Check Is it going correct your iView and pages.

Map app not displaying correctly

I recently downloaded the most recent os 8.1.3 on my iphone 4s. Now the map app (apple default) doesn't display correctly. I only see the grid and my location dot in standard view, no street names or lines, no details whatsoever. This is affecting any app that uses the apple default (Zillow, trulia, etc). My husband has the exact same iphone 4s and he has the most current os and his map app works fine. I'm thinking that I should try to reload the most current os but since it is the most current, there doesn't seem to be an obvious way since all message are "you have the most current version". I could also try to download just the most recent version of the map app but since it is a default, I don't know how. Any suggestions?

If you are having issues with your Maps application not displaying correctly, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

With IE UIX buttons are not displayed correctly

We have developed an application using UIX. While browsing application using Internet Explorer I noticed that many of the buttons are not displayed correctly. Only some part of the button is displayed. Same thing happens while displaying some of the page logos and stuff. Did anyone have same problem? What's solution?

sometimes half of button is displayed and sometimes the whole button image is distorted. if you refresh the page, it becomes perfectly fine. sometimes nothing is displayed but if you put mouse at the place where there should be a button, you would know that there is a button...
it happens with random buttons...
i haven't seen this problem in mozilla. its quite frequent in IE.
our customer is very annoyed by this problem :(

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

Problems with Turkish characters not displaying correctly

A user is having problems with certain Turkish characters in particular fonts not displaying correctly (as shown below).
The two fonts (Gill Sans and Helvetica LT CondensedLight) are used for English language marketing material. Ideally, for continuity, the same font would be preferred for our Turkish language marketing material rather than changing it to a similar font.
Helvetica LT CondensedLight
Turkish character “ İ ” does not display correctly in either Word or InDesign.
Gill Sans
Turkish characters “ ş ” and “ ğ ” display correctly in Word but not InDesign.
My questions are:
1. For Gill Sans, why are the characters not displaying in InDesign but are in Word?
2. I've noticed here: http://www.webtype.com/font/gill-sans-family/#glyphs-tab that the required characters are available within the Gill Sans font. Is this because the font is newer and includes the additional characters? Would this work in InDesign?

One of the big differences between InDesign and Word is that Word will happily substitute glyphs without telling you. So, unless your installs of Word and of InDesign are using different versions of Gill Sans (which is possible, BTW) then your s-with-cedilla and your g-with-macron are actually not in Gill Sans but in some other font. I'm guessing Arial.
It's possible that you have more than one Gill Sans installed (e.g. one in your Document Fonts folder and another in your system fonts folder) that have different glyph complements. Gill Sans has been around a long time, and the version I have from the 90s has no Turkish support whatsoever.
As far as the capital-I-with-dot, you can check your glyph coverage in a variety of ways. In both InDesign and Word, you can open up a window that shows you all of the glyphs in a font. In InDesign, find it in Type -> Glyphs. In Word, it's called "Insert Symbol" and you can find it in Word 2010 by going to Insert -> Symbol -> More Symbols. I am guessing that the answer to this question is simply that your cut of Helvetica LT has no cap-I-with-dot. You'd need to pick a font that actually has support for Turkish. On WIndows, I use a very full-featured freebie called BabelMap to check font coverage. They have a Web version here:

I see at least 3 errors
1. <RegionRenderer> <encodeAll> The region component with id: pt1:r1 has detected a page fragment with multiple root components.
the page fragment should only have a single component under the jsp:root tag. If you see more than one, wrap them in e.g. an af:panelGroupLayout or af:group component
2. SAPFunction.jspx/.xml" has an invalid character ".".
check the document (you can open it in JDeveloper if the customization was a seeded one. Seems that editing this file smething has gone bad
3. The expression "#{bindings..regionModel}" (that was specified for the RegionModel "value" attribute of the region component with id "pePanel") evaluated to null.
"pageeditorpanel" does seem to be missing in the PageDef file of the page holding the region
