Portal Editor not supporting Arabic text properly

Hi All,
I am using weblogic portal 10.2 and MySQL 5.0.
I am creating arabic Content using Portal Editor.
But if arabic content contains any english text , then alignment of arabic content is changing.
please suggest me , how to upload arabic content properly even though it contain english characters in it.

Does Photoshop Elements 11 Support Arabic text?

Hello,
I am planning to buy Photoshop Elements 11. I downloaded the trail version to test if it supports Arabic because I will be using it mainly for inserting Arabic text in pictures. Unfortunately, it does not support Arabic text properly. Direction is going left to right and it should be going right to left. Also, the letters are disconnected and they should be connected.
I have been told to try the middle eastern version, however, I am living in the UK and I cannot access the middle eastern website, the website takes me back to the UK one!
Another suggestion is to buy the full version of Photoshop which is very expensive and I am not going to use it. I am a beginner I only use it to add comments to pictures and to combine pictures etc. I am not an advanced user. So the full version is a waste for me.
Could you Please help me with this?

Supporting arabic text in creative cloud

Hello,
I've activated my creative cloud and synced typekit with my computer but the now the font but they are not displayed right as you know with arabic text.
I thought that creative cloud supported arabic text.

Safari not rendering Arabic text correctly

I have Safari 1.0.3 running on Mac OS 10.2.8 and it will not render Arabic text correctly. Isolated letters appear at about half the correct size, which makes pages readable but only with considerable difficulty and annoyance.
I saw some solutions here that related to removing Microsoft fonts, but I removed all fonts from Home:Library:Fonts and quite and restarted Safari, and the problem persists. I also downloaded Firefox 2.0 and the same issue occurs - with the added feature that the tab titles on Firefox also display this anomaly, whereas tab titles on Safari render Arabic correctly.
And by the way, if this issue can be resolved, can safari and other apps be got to use a font other than the extremely ugly and hard-to-read default?

that are meant to be connected are coming out
isolated; letters that are meant to be isolated, e.g.
initial alif, waw, ra and final letters after alif,
waw ra, are displaying way too small.

Yes, you may as well try no. 18. That tip, which really has no logic to it, reflects the fact that voodoo is sometimes required to get Jaguar to display Arabic correctly in browsers. Panther was a tremendous improvement in that regard.

How will adobe Flex SDK 3.2 supports arabic text on Mac Systems

We have developed a webapplication using Adobe Flex SDK 3.2. the content in the application is in arabic language. We Arabic text on Mac Systems is unreadable, but the same arabic language/text is perfect and accurate if viewed in Windows systems.
Please help us in finding a solution.
What we need is the arabic text should be accurate and readable on Mac systems.

The legacy TextField class in Flash Player -- which is the basis for all text display in Flex 3 components -- does not properly support right-to-left or bidirectional languages such as Arabic. However, the newer Flash Text Engine (FTE) APIs in Player 10, and the Text Layout Framework (TLF) library that is built on top of FTE, support bidirectional text.
If you use Flex 3.X you will have to write directly to the FTE or TLF APIs. If you use Flex 4.X, you can just use the Spark component set, which use FTE/TLF for text display. The MX components in Flex 4 still use TextField by default but can be configured to use FTE/TLF.

I had install the new software of Adobe Photoshop CS6 and it is not supporting the arabic Language.
for example ; it is writing أ ح م د not أحمد like that !

.CSV not supporting Arabic data

Hi Gurus,
My issue is as follows :
I got the arabic data in Excel 2003 in .xls format ( from client) . When I am trying to save the same data in .csv format in Excel2003 ( for SQL Loader) , it is not supporting to saving the arabic data. Its saving the arabic data as ???? in .csv file . How to overcome this issue and what setings are requried.
Its a urgent problem i am facing . Pls help me to resolve this issue.

I am facing a new challenge now , How to format the arabic font in control file. I have to upload Arabic data to staging table by using Sql * Loder. Pls can you point to some script for loading the arabic data from .csv file to staging table.

SQLStatement.parameters not working inside .text properly? What am I doing wrong

I'm having trouble with parameters in the SQLStatement class.
Look at this code:
var stmt:SQLStatement = new SQLStatement;
stmt.text = "INSERT INTO user VALUES(@title, @firstname,

stmt.parameters["@title"] = "Mr";
stmt.parameters["@firstname"] = "Simon";
stmt.parameters["@lastname"] = "Whatley";
trace(stmt.text);
trace(stmt.parameters["@title"]);
Now, you would expect this to trace the stmt.text as
"...Simon, Whatley)"
However, this is my trace:
INSERT INTO user VALUES(@title, @firstname, @lastname)

So, this means the parameters are working great on their own,
but just not inside the .text property?
Or is this the way it's suppose to show, and to be converted
later on in the execute method?
I've tried both with "@" and ":" as parameter
declaration.

Apparantly it is working fine, just not if you trace the
.text property itself.
When inserting into a database it gets the proper values.
To not make this thread utterly useless; does anyone know any
possible way to trace the .text property with the parameters
properly assigned? Without going "all the way"?

Hi I try to update my mobile software from long time but there is no update
that mean the software is is stabile but in fact is not
1- some times when you receive some incoming call the screen is freeze no answer no cancel you have to switch off your mobile .
2- some time I hold my mobile in horizontal position but the screen come in vertical mode .
3- some time the mobile hung .
4- some time the mobile switch off suddenly automatically .
5- one time the radio stop in one station it refuse to move for next station.
6- Wlan so Slow for browsing.
7- always failed for update OVI contacts 1.2 .
8- when use is as 3G device for internet to the laptop it become hot.
9- touch screen some time not response

Use a different app like everyone else does. Mellel is best, but TextEdit, Nisus Writer, Open/Neo/LibreOffice should also work. MS Word for Mac does not.

Why does Firefox not support the "text-overflow: ellipsis;" style? All other major browsers support it.

The "text-overflow: ellipsis;" style is supported by all major browsers EXCEPT Firefox. I had thought that this would have been fixed with Version 4. But it was not. Then I had hoped that it would be fixed in version 5. Yet it still is not supported.
PLEASE, PLEASE add this support.

Why SSRS 2014 does not support "Writingmode=Vertical " forTextbox in Chrome, Safari and Firefox ?
It is showing horizontaly in all browsers. in IE versions it is vertical.

Would InDesign CC6 support Arabic text?

I am using a trial version of InDesign C6 via Creative Cloud in view to purchasing and using it in English/Arabic environment. The Arabic fonts are there but the text is reversed! Any advice is appreciated.

For Indesign CC ME, on Creative Cloud Desktop select Preferences on the top right then select Apps>App Language choose (English Hebrew or English Arabic)

Cfdocument does not support justified text

I'm finding it impossible to justify text in a PDF created
using cfdocument. I've tried both <p align="justify"> and CSS
but
neither work. If I change it to right or center it works
which suggests justify is unsupported. Is this a bug or an
oversight?
I also tried putting text in P, DIV, SPAN, and tables without
any luck. I'm using CF 7.01 Ent + hotfix 2 on Win2003. Last time I
tried to report a bug to Macromedia they insisted I paid $500
first. Does Adobe have a more professional and fairer policy?
Is anyone else finding this forum painfully slow? I think
Adobe should invest in an extra web server or two.
