Portal Err :WWV-41439 - You cannot login as no configuration information

Hi friends,
I am using Oracle Application server 9.0.4. I have already using discoverer and other components.
Now, when I have started Portal Builder after configuring it using the link as below :
http://host_name.domain_name:7777/pls/portal.
It shows a link for the login. When I click to that link, it shows the error like,
"WWV-41439 - You cannot login because there is no configuration information stored in the enabler configuration table."
In Action to solve this error it is return I should add domain name with hostname in ServerName. I cannot understand where I need to do the modification.

fyi..
was able to resolved as a result of the following notes:
134729.1, 144643.1, 123133.1, 121497.1
There are seven scripts that I needed to run -
my initial mistake was that I mistyped the URL by including port 80. The
scripts must be run without specifying port 80

Situation is this.. was using 8.1.6 EE and Oracle Portal.. was able to get the Oracle Portal page up and after a while the application died.. this happened numerous times. Found in one of these forums that a bug existed (UTL_HTTP) and recommended going to 8.1.7 EE because of a patch. I migrated my 8.1.6 EE to 8.1.7 EE(made sure procedures & packages were valid). I'm able to bring up the Oracle Portal page but when I go to login I get this:

  • You cannot login because an error occurred while retrieving the login URL.(WWC-41441)

    Hi,
I have a Portal install with the following specifications:
    OS - Sun Solaris 2.6
    DB - 8.1.7.0.0
    iAS - 1.0.2.2
    Portal - 3.0.9.0.7
It was working fine. Then the initjvm.sql that installs the JVM
in the database was run. This was done as part of the steps
required for enabling the UTL_SMTP. The script ran without any
errors but after that Portal Login was failing with the following
    error:
You cannot login because an error occurred while retrieving the
    login URL. (WWC-41441)
and there were no Java classes present in the Portal or SSO
schema. To overcome this error I reloaded the SSOHash classes to
Portal and SSO schemas and ran ssodatan. The script ran
successfully and I was able to login to the Portal after that.
However, if I login as the administrator and try to create or
edit users from the Administer tab of Portal, the same error
    occurs again:
You cannot login because an error occurred while retrieving the
    login URL. (WWC-41441)
I can programmatically add users using the Security APIs.
The wwsec_enabler_config_info$ table of the Portal schema
contains one row but the wwsec_enabler_config_info$ table of the
    SSO Schema contains no rows.
This install of Portal is hosting a number of applications and as
such running opca again is not an option.
    Any workaround for this?

  • GETTING ERROR MESSAGE"You cannot login because the phone is JAL-enabled' while logging into CAD

    Hello All,
One of my customer is facing problem while loging into CAD. They were getting an error message"
You cannot login because the phone is JAL-enabled.
JAL-enabled phones are not compatible with CAD".
I gone through some cisco document saying that Join across line/Direct transfer across policy option status should be set to OFF. But i dont find option in 9971 series phone.
Any Reply for this query. Highly Appreciated.

That's because the JAL function is inherent to the 8961/9951/9971 phone and cannot be disabled. You'll need to upgrade to a release that supports this phone model or use a different phone.

I Have an iphone 4 and I have always been able to connect with Facebook while playing candycrush saga. Now I try and I receive a message saying "sorry but you cannot access the kingdom, please try again later. If I delete the game, and reinstall it, do I have to go through the process of having to show a payment method again?

If you delete the game you might lose progress. Backup your iPhone just in case. You shouldn't have to show payment method again.

  • Cannot login to JBoss Livecycle Installation

I cannot figure out how to login through workbench.  I have configured it for port 8080 and can see the JBoss 4.0 page.  The help files say: If you cannot log in successfully, configure the user accounts. To do this, log in to LiveCycle Administration Console as the administrator and click Settings > User Management > Users and Groups. For more information about creating user accounts, see User Management Help.
None of which tells me how to access the server.  I have never seen such lousy documentation for a server product that sells for this price.  I am evaluating this for my Team to use on a system that will support 20k users for the first year and right now, I'm about to call Rob Tarkoff and tell him that without specialized training, his product is unusable for many.  I am well versed in Server technology, and neither the web console nor the jmx-console is accessable for configuring.  And I am not a fan of either JBoss (especially 4.0) or high priced WebLogic.  Why couldn't they have bundled with Glassfish?
So what next?  I need something that works out of the box without $250/hr Deloitte consultants to get it working.  Is there a blog or something that someone can point me to where I can get this thing working from?
    XP Installation for development.
    Thanks,
    Curtis Fisher

Thanks for the quick answer, but this is exactly what I'm trying to do.  I am using the workbench and do have it configured for localhost with port 8080 and it looks like this:
Your help is much appreciated, but I really need more than simple instructions.  The JBoss server is running, but I get this:
If i had something that allowed me to configure the server, like a console, i could go even further.  But there is no console.  Do I have a bad installation?  I don't know.  But this is exactly the kind of crap you would expect from open source, little documentation and running on a very old edition of JBoss.
Do you have any other ideas?  Or did your install work like a champ from the start?  http://localhost:8080/adminui does not work...
    Thanks again...

  • Users created in ABAP tool cannot login to Portal

    Hello,
I have created a user in abap and assigned them the role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN but cannot login into Portal (Message: User authentication failed) with that user. If I login to portal as J2EE_ADMIN and search for that user I get "No element found." Is there something that needs to be done to get users into Portal? Does authentication not occur against the abap system? Also is the J2EE_ADMIN user only valid within portal and not the abap backend?
    I am using EP7.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Kelly,
I changed it under System Administration>>System Configuration>>UME Configuration>>ABAP System tab. If you read ealier in this thread however, I could not restart the j2ee server after that....so change it at your own risk!
If you do change it and cannot restart,  go into the config tool and navigate to Global server configuration >> services >> com.sap.security.core.ume.service and find the ume.r3.connection.master.client key. Change that back to it's original value. I was able to restart after that.
    Hope that helps.

  • Cannot delete login item "You cannot change this item because it's managed by your system administrator"

We migrated a server (ldap and file serving) to some new machines, which have new names.  We've got all of the login and file sharing functionality working on the new machines, but wherever we have a mount of a share in the Login Items for a user, we can't get the old machine out of the Login Items.  It's not fatal, but it does make login take a lot longer because it has to fail first.
We can mount the share from the new server, and save THAT in a NEW Login Item just fine -- it's just that when you click on the old defunct one the minus sign is greyed out, and the mouseover says "You cannot change this item because it's managed by your system administrator."  There is a yellow triangle next to the item in the list.  Went into the user's ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginitems.plist and it's not in the file.  The /Library/Preferences don't have anything that looks like a plist of the right name.
Where do I find it and how do I get rid of it?

In response to ManishBhatt94's post today, I may have some information that may be useful to you. I called Microsoft's 800-642-7676 and spoke with a technical representative with questions pertaining to my particular issue. I also have friend that has the
same issue with her computer running windows 8. A representative from my ISP told me how to go into 1)Tools, 2)Internet Options, 3)Connections, 4)LAN settings and uncheck the proxy settings box. However after restarting or shutting down my computer it reappears.
It will also reappears while I play games on Facebook not allowing me continue until I go back into the proxy settings in LAN and uncheck the box AGAIN and AGAIN. A local owner of a computer repair shop told my friend that it was a virus. After speaking with
Microsoft today I was told the same thing/it was more than likely a virus on my personal PC at home. As most people likely do,  I use wireless internet in my home on the affected computer. Solution; as suggested by Microsoft rep was to have the virus
professionally removed either by someone or to use their remote service for a fee of $149 which comes with several guarantees and does not require you to re-install software or documents. I hope that my response was of some help to you. I also kept trying
to fix this problem but wasted a lot of time. He also suggested to Google the proxy problem to see if ANYONE has any alternatives to fixing this problem!

  • Cannot login to network account (leopard client and server)

Up until now, I have used local accounts on my leopard server. I want to start experimenting with OD prior to implementing. I created a new user account in the /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 domain, and have bound my leopard client to the server using directory utility. On the login screen, "Network Accounts Available" has a green button to the left of it. When I try and login to the server account, the login window just shakes. At first, I could enter the password and then it would prompt me for a new password. Trying to enter a new password would not allow me to login. I went back to server admin and disabled the "require new password" setting, (as well as the other good security policies)...
I have also reset the password in WGM, and made sure to disable all the security stuff there too...
Lastly, I have deleted the server in directory utility, rebooted, then added it back in, and rebooted again...
I still cannot login to the server account, the login screen just shakes
Does anyone have an idea of what settings and or logs I can check to try and narrow down what is going on?
    Thanks in advance....

to close out the thread, I have working dns on my network, but I did not have dns enabled on my server. I enabled the dns service and entered just the info for my server, then assigned my server and client to use the server's ip addy as the primary dns server. Next, I created the home directory.
Once both steps were done, I was able to log in from my client to my server based account...
FYI-I found a document on afp548.com called "leopard server: advanced setup, rsync backup and automated reporting" that walks you right thru the process...Here is the link, it's a very useful doc....

  • Cannot login with AD credentials on iMac

    Greetings:
I have a brand new 27" Intel iMac that had been allowing AD logins just find until today. Now, no matter what I do, unbinding, rebooting, manually joining domain (dsconfigad), etc I cannot login using my AD credentials. This had been working flawlessly until today. I can bind to AD no problem. When I go to login with my known good account, I just get the window shake. Logging in with a local account, I see error messages in the console of:
DNS Update Failed & Enter Machine Password
The machine account is already staged in our OU. I am not clear what the DNS error is alluding to.
    reading through these postings: http://www.macwindows.com/snowleopardAD.html
I tried disabling creating mobile accounts at login. However that did not fix the issue.
I believe our campus is running Win2K8 AD servers. Our campus DNS appliance is a separate box, but should know how to delegate to AD (?). The other 10.6.3 machines we have, are authenticating against AD fine.
    Any ideas?

Marcus is correct - the ZAM administration accounts (ZAM 7.x) are stored (encrypted) within the ZAM database.
Within ZAM 7.x there is no way to integrate this with AD (either by LDAP referral or some kind of identity / password sync) and AFAIK no plans to add this.
I believe in the ZCM version of asset (and I hope the standalone version of ZAM10 still in dev) you set up the AD account(s) that is/are allowed Admin etc. access within ZAM, then LDAP referrals are used to authenticate via AD. I don;t know this for sure, though.
