Portal Framework Application - Administrator Console - Move Page Option

Can we restrict "Move Page" option in Portal Framework Application.
Currently anyone who has access to Administrator Link seems to be able to move the pages even if they don't have Grant privilege.
Thanks

    Hi,

When I run the same portlet application with in webcenter portal framework application, I could not find page number navigation and count of total number of records.
    Thanks,
    Santoshi.

Thanks a lot,Its working fine when I moved adfp into Panel Group Layout and one more important point is am using "default globe page template" which comes with webcenter framework application with content facetRef in Panel Group Layout which uses some inline style so changed its styleClass to "AFStrechWidth".

  • How to add the model view controller in webcenter portal framework application

i create a webcenter portal framework application.how to create a model class in my application..please help me.

What you mean by this. You mean having model layer in webcenter portal framework application? Whats the exact requirement.? You want to create ADF BC in portal app.
If you want to use adf taskflow application , i will recommend you to make separate adf application and use as shared lib in portal.

  • AD Intergration with Portal Framework Application

We have created AD Group like the ADministrartor Application role of Portal Application Framework.
What other steps we need to do for complete AD integration.

We can see the users and Groups from AD in WLS console.
My question is once we have given the privileges to an AD group like the Administrator from application roles.
New created AD group along with its grants should be enough to do all the Application management.
I assume we can simply map the application roles to enterprise roles (AD). We do not need to create/grant any specific groups in AD.

  • Moving bookmarks to move pages option

I edit large pdf documents all the time. I start by bookmarking the pages. Then I move the bookmarks into the order that I want the pages. The tedious part is going back and moving the pages. It would be a huge time-saver if I had the option to attach the bookmark to a page or a section of pages, so that when I move the bookmark, those pages move too.

I think there are third-party plugins for Acrobat that do this (maybe
EverMap's?), but it's not a built-in feature of the application.

  • How to change the start up page in Portal Framework..

    Hii guys...
I have created a webcenter portal framework application, with two new pages - a myLogin page and a Document page(which will display content from webcenter content).
    The pages are working fine.
I simply want to display the myLogin page when i run the application as startup page.
For this i have made changes into the index.html fine by changing the url to the "webcenter/portalapp/pages/myLogin"
When i run the application for the first time its working fine..
But when i am running it for the second time the page is automatically redirecting to some login.jsp and keep getting refresh.
I also tried running myLogin page directly by making changes in the welcome file option in web.xml.
I have deleted index.html from welcome file list and instead added the myLogin page.
But when i run the application it automatically load the index.html and the same problem continues.
Do anyone knows where i am making mistake or what changes should i make to simply display the myLogin page when i run the application..!!
    Thanks..

  • Performance Analysis feature on framework application

This is for Webcenter portal 11.1.1.8. Has anyone got the performance analysis feature to work on a custom portal framework application? Based on the instructions on the a-team site and elsewhere are specific to /webcenter or the former Webcenter spaces application. I saw a blog post reply from Daniel Merchan that this feature is not available on the custom portal application using the usual configuration route.
However there is an API for this. Is there some way to use the API to render the SDF time in a managed bean or using a servlet filter?
    thanks
    Vikram

    Hi Lutz,
As you have commented, the "Include Analysis Pages" option was removed from the Create Application wizard, for our APEX 4.0 release. In previous releases, while adding a page to a new application, the 'Include Analysis Pages' option allowed you to select one or more columns to be used as Group By columns in reports and charts. Although this option is no longer available, your Interactive Reports can be customized to define breaks, aggregations, different charts, group bys, and add computations, and all without the need of creating additional pages in your application.

  • Portal Administration Console Login

    Hello!
I have integrated Oracle Weblogic Server with Oracle Identity Manager to achive Single Sign On. In IDM is set form login.
    My base_domain configuration is : AdminServer and a Cluster_0 with two managed servers : Server_1 and Server_0.
I have as proxy server : Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) for each server : Admin-Server, Server-0, Server-1.
I targeted my portal app to cluster. My portal application contains Portal Administration Console, avaibled at /myAppAdmin.
Security Providers are (in this order):
    1. OAMIDAsserter - Oracle Access Manager Identity Asserter( Control Flag : REQUIRED, Active Types : ObSSOCookie)
    2. OIDAuthentificator - Provider that performs LDAP authentication (Control Flag: SUFFICIENT )
    3. DefaultAuthenticator - Weblogic Authentication Provider ( Control Flag : SUFFICIENT
    4. DefaultIdentityAsserter - Weblogic Identity Assertion provider.
When I access Portal Administration Console from /myAppAdmin (admin-tools.war)
         1. I login first in IDM with the user from LDAP : weblogic_ldap. The login is ok and the ObSSOCookie is set.
         2. I am redirected to login from Portal Administration Console (this thing is wrong and I want to jump this step. I want to go directly in Portal Administration Console after the first login).
         3. I login in the second login page from Portal Administration Console with the same user : weblogic_ldap. The login has succeed.
         4. I am logged in Portal Administration Console and I can add content ( for exemple)
What I have to do to have only the login form from IDM. To have the only two steps:
    1. Login in Portal Administration Console using login form from IDM and a LDAP user
    2. Access the Portal Administration Console
    I have tried :
I have changed domain security Default Model : "Advanced" , set Combined Role Mapping Enabled to "FALSE", set Check Roles and Policies to
"ALL Web applications and EJBs" and selected for When Deploying Web Applications or EJBs: "Ignore roles and policies to DD".
After this changes I deployed myApp which contains /myAppAdmin Console with Security policies set to Advanced.
I have only the IDM login, the correct one, and after that I am able to see first page of the Portal Administration Console and whatever I click I receive the error:

  • Calling portal framework page from non portal page

    Hi,
We are having some difficulty in passing control from the non portal pages to
    the Portal Pages.
To explain you more elaborately, I am writing down the scenario:
Both our portal and non portal pages reside under the same web application folder.
We have a Portal Page containing one portlet.Clicking on one of the hyperlink
on this portlet page takes us out of the portal environment where we are doing
    some processing.
(Why we are going out of the portal environment is because we want to call the
existing pages as it is and our intention is not to make the existing pages portal
    enabled to start with).
Somewhere down the journey on the non portal page, there is a requirement to call
    the Portal Framework page.
We can call the portal Framework page from the non portal page by hard coding
the URL of the Portal page by writing something like this in href:
    http://localhost:7501/application?origin=content.jsp&event=bea.portal.framework.internal.portlet.event&pageid=home&portletid=bachome_carsearchlink&wfevent=link.next
But this is not what we want. We want to call the portal page without hard coding
    the URL.
If we use portlet tag in non portal page to call the Portal Framework page ( <a
    href="<portlet:createWebflowURL event="link.next"/>">Next Page</a>), it throws
us error "Could not find current Portlet State" which is quite understandable,
because portlet state is now lost.
Is there any way we can achieve this .
    Any suggestions or ideas?
    Thanks
    Ajay

    Hi
i think you should use portal:createPortalPageChangeURL (you are effectively changing
    your portal page) .
if you want to invoke a specific event in your portlet webflow you can either
write a RefreshControllerIP or use WebflowJSPHelper.createWebflowURL.
bear in mind if you have urls that directly go to an intermediate event in the
    portlets webflow you may need
    http://dev2dev.bea.com/codelibrary/code/portlet_pp.jsp

  • Administration screen not finding my Portal Web Applications

    Hello All,
Does anyone know why the portal administration screen might not find a Portal
Web Application ? When I go to my administration screen, (http://.../MyAppAdmin/portal.portal)
the drop-down box says 'No Available Portal Web Application'.
When I go to http://.../MyWebProj/app.portal it loads fine!
Also, this only happens when I deploy application as an .ear file. When I run
it on my own machine from Workshop, it all loads fine. Also, my other applications
are ok, I can not see what is different with this guy!
Is there some build option I should include, to add something in a deployment
descriptor to declare the Portal Web Application ? I am just using Workshops
    'build ear' menu option.
    thanks for any suggestions!
    -BD

    Doyle,
This can occur in a cluster if the Portal Application has not been deployed
to the admin server. Some special things happen during app deployment on
the admin server, which result in extra information getting written to the
database. This information is used by the portal admin tools to display the
    list of web-apps.
If this is the environment you're running in, it might be helpful to look at
the 'Deploying Portal Applications' guide on edocs.bea.com, which goes into
    more detail on deployment.

    Help, please.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • How to enable create user option in portal under user administration?

    Hi,
In Portal, in user administration tab, always the create user and Copy to  New user option is disabled, how can i enable those?
    -Siva

If the AS ABAP is your datasource for your users there is NO WAY you can create users in the portal UME.
&#9679;     If the UME has read-only access, you cannot modify user attributes stored in the ABAP system, like first name and last name. You can modify attributes stored in the UME database, like street. Even if read-only access is assigned, users can still change their own passwords.
&#9679;     If the UME has read-write access, you can create users using the tools of the J2EE Engine. Users created in this way are stored as users in the ABAP system. Extended user data that cannot be stored in the standard ABAP user record is stored in the database of the UME.
in the read/write access the users are created only in the ABAP side and not the java. If you have the read access you cannot create users in the abap side. hence you need the SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION role to create users in the AS ABAP.....
Trust me .......bottomline ....you cannot create users in the JAVA UME if you have AS ABAP as your datasource !!!!
    hope this helps..
