Portal iviews as services in left hand navigation

When I click on a iview - I am able to show iviews as "Relative Links" in the left hand navigation.
But I am not able to show them as "Services" in left hand navigation below "Detailed Navigation".
Suggest me to solve this.

I have different kind of iviews from URL iview to Transaction iVIews or Webdynpro iviews, I am showing them in lefthand side presently in Detailed Navigation box. but I want to show them as Services to a iview/page/workset is that possible?
I have seen that in Buyer/Purchasing Business package. But I am not able to design in such way..

I wet my Nokia and managed to transfer photos from images to a new handset. What I can't transfer are images in my text in box and sent box. This is because my left hand navigation key is stuck. This means that I can't hit options therefore I can't send them via bluetooth or text them elsewhere like a computer or another handset. I have a mac and have never been able to download photos off the phone! Is it a case of getting the key pad repaired before I can free the images, videos and sound recordings of my baby? have you tied going to shorcuts and move the function you need to the other side or use the active standby the same way and if going left does not work try going right til you get to the desired selection

Left handed navigation support

I am using a Wacom Cintiq (touch screen) tablet and being left handed, it is really awkward and difficult to scroll/navigate using the scrollbar on the right hand side...arm hides window etc. The option exists in MS Word (through language support settings) and in Firefox to change the vertical nav scrollbars to the left hand side. I have searched this topic for Adobe products including Acrobat and don't seem to find any info. Considering that there are a few lefties out there..and "some" international language users (who read right to left), logic does seem to indicate that there is a possible setting for this. Any comment or help would be appreciated.

I'm also lefty. I'm looking for pdf reader with optional left scrollbar. If anyone knows one, please send a link.

In SharePoint 2013 navigation, is it possible to add a custom link only to the left-hand menu without getting it in to the top menu dropdown?

If I want to add a custom link to the left-hand navigation menu In a SharePoint 2013 sub-site, it can be done by visiting
Site Settings à Navigation section and adding the link under
Structural Navigation: Editing and Sorting section. However, this will automatically add a matching link to the top menu as a dropdown.
(Note that Global Navigation is set to “Display the same navigation items as the parent site” where “Parent is using Structural Navigation.” and Current Navigation is set to “Structural Navigation:
Display only the navigation items below the current site”)

ESS Portal Links in Left Hand side

Hello All,
I have requirement like this. In our ESS role in the overview page i wanted to provide some links to iViews. Those link should be displayed in the left hand side of the portal. (Exactly in the related links area). We could not use the related links because we can not provide heading for that.
I saw in MSS role with similar look and feel. In MSS there is a link provided in the left hand side of the portal called Services. I wanted something similar that.
Any input highly apreciated.

In case you dont want the links to be displayed in the standard related link iview , then create a custom iview and then call it dynamically in the page.
Go to content admin->search for the page->right click->dynamic navigation->add the custom iview.
the added iview will be displayed below the related link iview in the left frame with the whatever header for the custom ivew.

How to create a project's Menu in PeopleSoft left hand Menu Navigation ?

Hello. My PeopleSoft project has 3 items (item1, item2 and item3). Each item has 5 components (Component1, Component2, Component3, Component4 and Component5).
Currently, I can acces each component by type in the URL in Browser as follows:
http://127.0.0.1/psp/ps/NodeName/PortalName/c/MenuName.ComponentName.GBL
But I want my project to appear in the left hand "Menu" navigation after we sign on PeopleSoft. My project Menu will look like a hierarchical tree. When the user click on it, the user can see all the project's items and components and link to a component directly. But I don't understand how to do it.
Do any folks understand how to create a project's Menu in PeopleSoft left hand Menu navigation ?

First, how to make the project Menu appear in PeopleSoft left hand Menu navigation ? I am still not sure what you are trying to do(It is surprising that you registered the component and still dont have it in the main navigation; did you run the portal security sync process?? ).
If it is all a matter of having a hierarchical structure, then you can create folders and subfolders and register each item accordingly(into different folders and subfolders as you want)
Second, if need to register each Menu seperately again, how to do it ?Delete entries for content references that you added earlier while registering(by navigating to portal), as well as the entry from permission lists. After that you should be able to register again.

Error message in the middle left hand of portal

      I am getting the following kind of error message in the middle left hand of portal(Quick Create),
"<b>Error occurred. Contact the administrator and report the exception ID in the log: 00145EC53868009000000B93001820000004265B5BB688B3</b>.
     Can any body tell me the reason for causing this error message and how to rectify this error message.
     This requirement is urgent

Can you see the defaulttrace file for more details?
Open up Visual Administrator and go to Log Viewer. Then open up the Defaulttrace file. Generate the same error message and look in the file for more details.
What do you see?
And of course.. What did you do to make this error ?

I recently bought a new I pad. I installed it and in the top left hand corner where it should say "ipad" it say "no service" how can I get it changed?

That could be loss of service from the carrier, or possible switching off of the iPhone cellular service or failiure in the iPhone itself. Go to Settings > General > Cellular and see that it is switched ON.
See also that Settings > Airplane Mode is switched OFF.
If both are correct, do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if it appears.
If that doesn't help, then you need to make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar to have the techs test the iPhone for failure.

Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. When you say you have Internet service, are you connected to wifi? Have you tried a reset on the phone? Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo, then release. The phone will reboot. After it starts, see what happens. Do you have a valid SIM in the phone, one that is activated through a carrier? Have you contacted the carrier to see what they say, since phone service is a carrier responsibility?

Hi guys I have a iPad 2 I recently upgraded it from iOS5 to ios7. Since then it only uses the 8ta network but in the top left hand corner it says no service with 3G next to it how am I able to fix this? Could it be a hardware problem?

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.
