Portal not working in IE 10 (Internet explorer 10)

Hello,
Our customer is using IE 10 (Internet explorer 10) and above, as their
bowser.We tried running SAP EP on IE 8 (Internet explorer 8), login
page of portal itself not coming up in IE 8, its giving us error. so we
are worried whether SAP EP will work on IE 10 also.
We tried running SAP EP on IE 6 (Internet explorer 6), and its working
fine, login page of portal is coming up properly in IE 6.
So I request you to please let us know what maximum version of IE
(Internet explorer) our customer can have on their desktop in order to
run SAP EP properly (with all the functionallity) ? Can we use IE 10
also ?
Our OS (Operating system) is XP and in some case microsoft vista also
and our portal version is EP 7.0 , SP 14 as of now.

We have been able to control IE’s document mode by using <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Emulate8"> in personal projects in the past and it might be possible to add the <meta> element to the SAP web pages for ESS and BuyRight and test if this allows the page to render properly using IE9 (without manually putting it into Compatibility View). The solution for the second scenario mentioned in the SAP note sounds promising.
Of course Microsoft makes it difficult again, because IE 10 will introduce another new revised Quirks Mode for IE 10 which will eliminate support for older features and include some HTML5 by default to catch up to what the other browsers (Firefox and Chrome) currently do when the <!DOCTYPE> directive is missing.

Lightroom 4.1 flash web gallery does not work in 32 bit Internet Explorer 9.0

I have a web site with a Web Gallery I created in Lightroom 4.1. . The Web Gallery will not work in the IE 9.0 32 bit browser. It does work in the IE 9.0 64 bit browser. Also, all other flash material seems to work fine in my 32 bit browser such as Youtube and other flash sites material. I have a flash menu created from another product on my web site which also works fine in the 32 bit IE browser but I cannot get the Lightroom Flash Gallery to work in this browser.
Any suggestions?

Previously i was able to go to a website and view videos. I can no longer view my videos. I uninstalled and reinstalled the newest Adobe Flash that is currently out. When i went to play the video it just shows that the video is loading but nothing ever loads. I right clicked and pressed Global Settings and it stated that i do not have Adobe Plug in installed. If i reinstalled Adobe Flash shouldn't the Adobe Plug in have been installed too?
Can someone help me with this?

Scaling not work correctly in the internet explorer

Hello every body, I very need your help. I make composition in Edge Animate with resolution 2300*1914 adjust the responsive scaling to both, after saving I look the composition in browsers. In the Chrome and Opera displaying is correct, but in IE and Firefox displays not correct, I fill the stage in red color, so when I open the composition, the filled stage take proportions 100% - width and height, but resolution 2300*1914 applies like transparent layer, and I have overflow horizontal and vertical.
P.S. I need scaling in persentage because the composition is designed for all resolution

Are you sure that Firefox isn't using the integrated PDF viewer (pdfjs)?
Current Firefox versions have enabled a new build-in PDF Viewer and that viewer doesn't have all the features that the Adobe Reader has.
You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use the Adobe Reader or set to Always Ask in "Firefox > Options > Applications".
You can set the pdfjs.disabled pref to true on the <b>about:config</b> page to disable the build-in PDF viewer and use the Adobe Reader instead.

If you increased the minimum font size then try the default setting 'none' as a high value can cause issues like you described.

I have gotten it to work by replacing the sp9 weblogic-tags-510.jar with
the sp8 weblogic-tags-510.jar. We haven't experienced any problems with
our app after using this workaround. However, we haven't completely
tested it either.

Printer print size is very small. Do not have this problem with Internet explorer.

Font-weight:bold; - works in firefox, safari, internet explorer 6 BUT NOT ie7

font-weight bold; on an external css style sheet is working in every browser (INCLUDING ie6) but NOT ie7?
I just don't get it. It even works in ie6.
NOTE:   One thing I should mention is that I have a conditional Internet Explorer statement, for a Internet Explorer-specific style sheet that targets ie6 and ie7.
But I don't think that's the issue because every other style is working properly EXCEPT font-weight:bold. This is absolutely maddening.
I tried searching around for solutions and the only lead i found was writing [ font-weight:bold !important; ] using that '!important' statement I thought would somehow force ie7 to acknowledge it. But no dice. It failed.
Here is the accursed code:

So it's still not BOLD in ie7.
- My css is validated.
- My HTML still shows 19 errors with 3 warnings, which is down from 31 errors with 3 warnings.
• Although most of these errors are directly from the 'Active Content' JavaScript that Dreamweaver places within your HTML when you insert Flash SWF files on your page. So I don't think I can even correct that.
• The next series of errors concern the P element. Which I think are because in 5 Paragraphs in a row, I gave them each the same relationship attribute (rel="lightbox[blog02]"). Why else would these paragraphs come up as errors when every other paragraph is perfectly fine? The errors the validator says are happening, aren't happening. It says that certain P tags aren't closed and it's not true, I can see with my own eyes that they are. I think the 'rel' values are confusing the validator?
All the major errors I took care of though. I replaced all the repeating ID attributes with CLASS attributes. I really thought that would have done it, but no. However, at least I'm no longer getting ID errors when attempting to validate.
So now I'm stumped.
I have no clue what to do next with something I thought would be so simple. I mean give me a break. I'm just trying to BOLD a line of text...smh.
So currently every browser, including the illicit ie6, shows the BOLD...BUT NOT IE7.
Sorry for the all caps, it's just so ridiculous to me.
Although I learned that validating your styles and sites is an important step in publishing your site. I also learned how to properly use ID and CLASS attributes.
However if anyone out there can point me in the right direction, it would still be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Flash player not installing on Firefox or Internet explorer...

I downloaded firefox as my alternate web browser. I play games and things of the like on my laptop, which is a Toshiba Satellite C655 (I'm pretty sure it is ). My flash player works on Google Chrome, but not on Internet Explorer or FireFox. Any help? I've downloaded it (or so it says) 4 times since Sunday night, but everytime I go to play the game, the game says I need to install adobe flashplayer. And this is multiple games so it isn't the game.

FOIs not appearing in MapViewer with Internet Explorer

I am using MapViewer 10133p5 and having some trouble placing FOIs in Internet Explorer (that is to say, the code that seems to be working fine in Firefox fails in IE). I have reduced my HTML to what I think are the bare essentials and pasted its contents below.
In the Firefox browser, any time I click on the map I see an alert telling me the coordinates upon which I clicked, then an FOI (with an image on top of it) is placed on the map. Finally, I see another alert letting me know that the FOI was placed. In IE7, I see the alerts, but I never see the FOI. Lastly, from what I can tell, the WebLogic server that is serving the MapViewer app gets a request whenever I do this in Firefox, but does not see a request come through when I do it in IE.
IE gives me no indication that anything is wrong, and since the final alert (see below) fires, I must presume that the script execution isn't failing. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This is a oracle maps bug. The workaround is to add the image as a separate marker foi.

Page not displaying in Safari and Internet explorer but showing up in Mozila

Hi,
I bought this pre-made template which I would like to use for my website. When I upload it to my website and try to open the pages like "Contact us", "News", "Team members" and so on, they are not displaying in Safari and Interner Explorer, but they DO show up in Mozilla. Also, the pages I created myself do show up in all browsers. I really need to fix this problem as I already put a lot of effort to create my web site and now it is not working online. Using Firefox 4.0.1, I am unable to "Compose", "Reply" or "Forward" messages in Yahoo Mail. I do not have this problem with Internet Explorer.

Clicking on "Compose", "Reply" or "Forward" in Yahoo Mail does not do anything. I troubleshot the problem with Yahoo directly and they feel that the issue is with Mozilla Firefox. I do not have this issue when using Internet Explorer. Other buttons in Yahoo Mail, such as "Delete" and "Move" do work.

I had the same problem and discovered it went away when I disabled the AVG Do Not Track extension on firefox.

After upgrade to firefox 5 my webmail inbox has message stating,you have undefined mails in your inbox,but there seems to be no way to access these mails.Works perfectly well with internet explorer.

I found my own solution to this one after many more hours of frustration. I found that there was a toolbar applet installed in Internet Explorer that started its own private JVM, and that JVM was being seen by the plugin code for 1.3.1_07. Apparently there was some conflict between what the plugin code expected and what that private JVM (not sure what version it was, the code had no mention of it) had to offer, which caused the crash dialog. Uninstalling the toolbar (and its parent application) solved the problem. I may do further testing to see if there are any plugin versions that do work with this particular applet.
It is also still a mystery why this problem only cropped up after installing and uninstalling 1.4.x version of the plugin, but I didn't keep close track of the whole sequence so it may have been coincidental.
