Portal role user removal

Hello,
Is there a quick way of removing all users that are assigned directly to to a portal role (not in a group) other than by removing them one by one ? If not, is there a way to disable them without removing them from the role.
    Regards,
       Phil.

user admin > identity management > search the role > click on assigned users tab > search all the users by using * > click on modify > now click on select all button > click on remove.
I think this is the way we can remove all the users can be deleted at a time assigned to a particular role

vv.

You can use delegated user administration to control the access
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/ConfiguringDelegatedUser+Administration
If you want only read-only access
    1. Copy the standard User Admin role from Portal Content - Content Provided by SAP - Admin Content - User Administrators
    2. Paste it in one your own custom folders
    3. Adjust the name and ID and remove unwanted areas in the custom role (like Import and Activity Reports)
    4. Go To User Administration and search and select the newly created role.
    5. Select the Assigned Actions Tab and remove all the actions and just add the UME action - Read_All
    6. Save your role and assign it to a test user (without the user admin standard role) to verify.

  • Report or ways to find who removed portal roles for an user id ?

    Hi Experts,
Scenario: if admin removes super admin role or any other portal role for my id. is there any possibility to see who exactly deleted the roles for my id?
    Many Thanks
    Sekhar

    HI,
as Anja wrote, this is not possible with a default installation of the SAP Portal.
What you can do is to provide role provisioning with IIDM, GRC or ABAP user store solution instead of giving the portal admin the permission to change role <-> user attribution.

  • How to remove default "Home" portal role from every portal user

    Hi
My Portal system is configured on our BW UME.
When ever I create a Used ID in BW,A portal account is created for the same user id.
With out any portal roles (navigational) assigned to the user.
    Ex:
Lets say I created a user u201CTesteru201D in BW and assigned him the relevant BW Roles (ABAP).
When I logon to Portal using u201CTesteru201D, I can see a TAB u201Chomeu201D under which worksets Company,Work,Teams,Documents and Portal Information
I checked the user account in Portal for tester there are no portal roles assigned to himu2026u2026.
My requirement is not to display Home (tab)u2026.how can is that Home is assigned to all portal users and how can I remove it so that the users will be displayed with only navigational role that I assigned.
    Thanks

    Hi,
In User Admin of Portal  search for eu_role and see check assigned users and assigned groups tab and see if this is added to the users or group.
If you find it assigned to any users or any group delete the assignment and it should be gone.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers-

    Hello,
Since the status has no number it will appear under statuses W/O number bottom right in status overview window.
These status will appear as additional text beside current user status. For example if user staus is BUG and status without number is DFL and sets when deletion flag is set and gets deleted when it is revoked than user status will appear as
    BUG DFL -
    Deletion flag set.
    BUG -
    When deletion flag revoked.
You have to live with it. I don't think there is a way out for that.

    Balu,
Well this issue has been discussed many a times in forums. You would have to point your data source to ABAP system.
Check this thread in [here|J2EE Failed to start  , after changing UME datasource;.
    Good Luck!

    From Portal:
1 I create a portal user, it ALWAYS creates ABAP user in ABAP stack of WAS.
    2. I create a portal role, it creates a role in the Portal.

    having worksets and pages,
I get no pages or worksets shown in the portal page as soon
    user logs in.
Can you help configure this so that I could see the pages and iviews inside this workset when user logs in.

  • Allowing Airwatch MDM access to the Captive-Portal guest users in pre-auth role for android and BB?

    Requirement:
How to allow Airwatch MDM access to the Captive-Portal guest users in pre-authentication role for Android and Blackberry devices?
    What is Airwatch MDM?
Airwatch MDM is Mobile Device Management. The Airwatch is an enterprise which helps to manage and secure data traveling through the mobile devices like Laptops, Tablets, Android, iPhones, iPads etc.
    Solution:
Why we need to allow access to Airwatch MDM?
The network administrator can force the guest users to register to Airwatch MDM before they get authenticated and access the internet. So that the network administrator could manage the guest devices through Airwatch Management tool. This can be achieved by CPPM server. To download the Airwatch MDM app and register with the Airwatch MDM server certain domains should be permitted in the captive portal pre-authentication role. This KB provides the configuration steps to allow the guest users to download the Airwatch MDM app and register with the Airwatch MDM server.
    Configuration:
    Below is the configuration
    Configuration steps:
    1. Create the following netdestinations
    netdestination Airwatch
      name *.awagent.com
      name *.awmdm.com
      name air-watch.com
    netdestination Google-Play
      name android.clients.google.com
      name .ggpht.com
      name gstatic.com
      name accounts.google.com
      name clients1.google.com
      name clients2.google.com
      name clients3.google.com
      name clients4.google.com
      name i.ytimg.com
      name google-analytics.com
      name .1e100.net
      name android.l.google.com
      name mtalk.google.com
      name clients.l.google.com
      name googleapis.com
      name gvt1.com
    netdestination BlackBerry
      name *.blackberry.com
    2. Now define the rules in the session acl and map it to the pre-authentication Role of the captive portal.
    ip access-list session Airwatch_Access
      any   alias Airwatch svc-http  permit
      any   alias Airwatch svc-https  permit
    ip access-list session Google-Play-Store
                   any   alias Google-Play any permit
    ip access-list session BlackBerry-Access
                   any   alias BlackBerry any permit
    3. Now map the session ACLs to captive-portal pre-authentication Role as follows
    user-role Guest-Pre-Auth-Role
     access-list session Airwatch_Access
     access-list session Google-Play-Store
     access-list session BlackBerry-Access
     access-list session logon-control
     access-list session captiveportal
    4. Now whitelist the list of domain names in the Captive Portal profle
    aaa authentication captive-portal Airwatch-Captive-Portal-Profile
    white-list Airwatch
white-list Google-Play                                                                                ------------>Netdestinations where you defined the Domains.
    white-list BlackBerry
    Verification
Now the user will be placed under the "Guest-Pre-Auth-Role" before the authentication. The user can now go the Google Play-Store or BlackBerry Appworld to download the Airwatch MDM and register to Airwatch Management Server.

Thanks so much getting these names listed out. I have been working on this very issue for a few weeks and was basing my firewall rules on IP's. It was not going well. Now access is working and testing can commence!  Thanks,Chris

  • CUA issue; after roles are removed systems assigned to users remain?

    Hello,
I've had this specific issue with CUA for some time, but haven't needed to try and resolve until now.
    The problem is this:
    - after security roles for a user have been removed for an entire system, in the system tab entries remain.
    - this results in the user account remaining in the child system, even though there are no security roles assigned.
I have tried removing system entries once all roles are removed, however after saving the changes I see that the systems still exist.
So, can anyone comment on why this happens? Is there an SAP note to resolve this?
    Appreciate the feedback.
    Paul

    Paul Vipond wrote:
    Thanks Julius.
My intention is not to delete users. What I'm expecting to happen is that after I remove all the roles assigned to user for a specific child system, that user should not exist in the child system anymore.
If you delete the system assignment for a child system, A deletion of the user in that system will happen.
    Paul Vipond wrote:
This is the way it has worked for many child systems, but not all. For me it's specifically my production systems where a user account remains after all the roles have been removed.
In dev/test systems I've removed all roles assigned to a user and after saving their account no longer exists in those dev/test systems.
    Make sense?
If that is so, that is a bug in your dev/test system. I suggest to open an incident wiht SAP then.
It should work like in a standalone system.... Removing all roles there will never lead to a deletion of that user!

  • Find user SAP Portal role in an abap program

    Dear all,
We would like to check the SAP Portal role of a Portal user in a R/3 abap program.
do you know if there is a bapi or a RFC module function to do that ?
For example : the user CCDEMO (exists in EP and in R/3 backend) has a Buyer Portal role. In an abap program, I would like to have this information.
    Thanks

  • How to change the portal role presentation based on users BW authorization?

    Hello,
I have created 3 BW Roles, each one contains an iView with a certain report.
For simplicity let's name the Roles A,B,C and assume that in order to see the proper report the user needs to be assigned to the matching group (A,B,C) at the BW side.
I have imported these 3 roles to the portal as worksets, created new pcd role, placed these 3 worksets inside the new role and assigned this role to a certain group of users in the portal (these users are ABAP users so they are the same at the BW side as well).
What I would like to do is this: I would like that each user that I have assigned this new role to will see only the worksets that he/she allowed to see based on it's BW authorization. Meaning, if I have been assigned roles A and B at the BW I will see only worksets A and B inside the role.
The problem is this: From the portal I cannot assign the users to the BW groups and from BW I cannot control pcd roles so this kind of change requires me to make two modifications: One for authorization from the BW and one for presentation from the portal. I would like to manage it just from one place, either from the BW or from the portal, I don't care.
    How can I achieve this?

I think I have found a solution: Export it as a role instead of a workset and do one to one assignments with the BW groups.

  • Remove queries from Portal Roles

    Hi,
We have a requirement in the portal and BW queries.
We want to remove queries from the portal roles. That is the queries must not be physically deleted, but they should not appear in the portal when viewed through Business Explorer.
Is this possible with in the portal. How can this be done?
    Regards,
    Sujana

    Hi
    Go to TCode
    PFCG.
Enter the role in which the query is assigned.
Then go to the Tab menu,
Select the name of the report or Query.
Remove the entry from the role.
This will do what you need.
Its in BW side not in R/3.
