Portals MSS i-Views load before Team Viewer

We are using MSS portals and have an issue with i-Views loading before the team viewer has loaded.  This causes an error to appear in the i-views, because there is no data.  For small groups of employees this is not a big issue because it happens very quickly.  However, for larger groups it can cause the errors to appear on the manager's screen for a long period (it is seconds, but when a manager is viewing, it is too long).  My question is, is there a setting that controls the i-views, so that they cannot populate until the team viewer is fully populated.

I am getting error message 'Cannot connect to R/3' even though I have followed all the guidlines for the connections...thought maybe you have a solution.

    Can you please tell me what is your exact requirement?....
    I think in the standard MSS package there is an iview for viewing the workschedule related information like Hours/day, Hrs/week, hrs/month and hrs/year for a position.
    However, if you want to view the workschedule for employee, it can easily be configured through the OADP.
    You can create a custom Function module for fetching the workschedule for each employee and after creating a custom column, add it to any data view.

  • MSS Calendar View - Details of employee's request displaying 0 for hours

    In MSS Calendar view when a manager views their calendar they can select the employee's time off request and the details will dispaly below.  The details consist of the type, date and hours of the request.  It appears that for some managers they are able to view this correct format.  But for other managers when they click to get the details there will be a table format that displays with multiple rows displaying the following:  Type of leave, From Date, To Date, Start, End, Absence Hours equals 0, Status displays as Informed, Used.  Has anyone else encounted this issue where some managers view the correct detail format and others are viewing a table format that doesn't give the details and 0 for hours?

    Thanks for the clarification on the text of the status.  It appears that the hours are being posted and deducted from the employee's quota.  After further testing yesterday we narrowed it down to either testing and implementing on a different platform or security.

  • Flash video on web page takes long very time to load before it starts playback

    I just created a basic flash file to play a video on my web page and it's taking several minutes to load before it starts playback.
    I'm using progressive downlaod and the file is in *.mov format and is 84MB in size. At first that seemed large to me for web play back, but I thought it could handle it since I thought the way progressive download works is that it would start playing the first frame right away and progressively play other frames as they download. However, this seems to be downloading the whole file first (or a major part of it) before starting any playback at all.
    Is there some kind of setting I'm missing or is my understanding of the download incorrect and the file size is too large?
    Some vitals:
    - I'm using Flash Pro CS5
    - To create my flash file, I used the standard import video wizard and selected the a file that is "on my computer" and "load external video with playback component" and then, I selected one of the standard skins.
    - To deploy the vidoe on my webiste I have three files:
    1) swf file containing the FLV component
    2) the swf file related to skin
    3) the actual video (84MB, mov file)
    - Web page includes/embeds reference to swf file

    What you are implying here is correct. The file won't play no matter how long you wait.  Looks like it's because of the "source" file settings in the Import Wizard may now be incorrrect. This is why it's not playing in the new file. 
    When I created my original Flash Video using a MOV file, during the import wizard, when asked "Where is your video file?" I selected the option "Already deployed to a web server...". Here I entered the url to where the video file is located on my production server.
    When I created the new Flash Video using F4V file, during the import wizard, when asked "Where is your video file?" I selected the option "On your computer". Here I selected the file from my local drive.
    Sorry for not pointing out the inconsistency earlier - I didn't think it mattered and plus I couldn't get the F4V file to import from the web server.
    Anyway, I've changed my object tag using the acutal published html that flash generates and have uploaded all source files to same location.

    To sum up the problem(s) I need help with:
    Issue #1 - When trying to import F4V file using import wizard, I cannot use "Already deployed to a web server..." as an option for the file location. I believe this is creating issue #2
    Issue #2 - For some reason, the F4V file will not load into the SWF file when it's published to my production server. 
    It works when viewing locally through browser as c:\inetpub\wwwroot\mywebsite\video-intro.html
    It doesn't work when viewing on development server through browser as http://localhost/mywebsite/video-intro.html
    It doesn't work when viewing on production server through browser as http://www.mywebsite.com/video-intro.html
    Issue #3 - When the above are resolved, I'm not certain if my orignal question/issue will be resolved...  browser tries to downlaod full file before any playback.  

  • Youtube video's have to fully load before it starts to play

    When I go to YouTube, "any" video I click, the Video must fully load before it will start to play.
    This also happens on other site, I am not able to view live streams at all (Or at least I havn't wait long enough)
    I have uninstalled (Full) and Re-Install Firefox 8, I have removed Flash, and Re-Installed.
    I tested it before any Extentions were installed.
    Is there any settings on my PC that is doing this, I don't know what to do.

    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

    Anyway, can you point me to a way to install Adobe on my new PC?

  • LibXt loaded before libXm

    I have a problem with starting up the app on ubuntu 8.04 - gnome:
    I had a poblem with prior versions displaying the content of the 'root' window, so i used an environment variable to solve this:
    AWT_TOOLKIT="MToolkit" in /etc/environment did the trick
    With the 1.5 release this gives the above error... see end of msg.
    timo@beat:~$ env -u AWT_TOOLKIT /opt/sqldeveloper/1.5/sqldeveloper.sh
    solves this problem, but brings us back to seeing nothing in the main window.
    Ideas to fix this ?!

    If you use extensions like <i>Adblock Plus</i> or <i>NoScript</i> or <i>Flashblock</i> that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.<br />
    You can see the installed Firefox extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions".
    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

    when i boot linux it comes to grub terminal and when i boot from grub terminal it shows the above error.
    I tried with the following commands to recover:

  • Employees' photo cann't be showed in portal MSS. Can anybody help me?

    Our portal system met one urgent problem in MSS for providing employee's photo from ECC6.0 system to portal.
    It is like that: some of our portal mss accounts, who are department managers, can not see their employees' photos in the portal page through their computers. But the others do not meet the problem in their computers. Even for the same employee, his manager can see his photo in certain one computer, but can not see the photo in another computer. I guess maybe there are any conflicting IE configs to the portal for showing photo datas.
    Has anybody met this similar problem?
    Who could be so kind to help me? I will very appreciate you.

    Make sure the hostname you use in your URL (short and FQDN) can be resolved.
    ie:
    myportal:<port>/irj
    myportal.mycompany.com:<port>/irj
    eg: in your hosts file make sure
    10.23.2.50 myportal myportal.mycompany.com
    Also after all the changes you have made, empty your browser cache and also force a GET by using cntrl+F5 key.

  • Videos loading BEFORE the rest of the page!

    I just published my site with the new iWeb 08. The pages are loading very slowly for people because it's loading my video clips FIRST, then the rest of the page. Is there anyway to have the page load first, and THEN the video clip? Is there a setting or something that I'm missing?

    Here's a trick that worked with my Podcast page and entries.
    I noticed that if you create a new text box on the page it will load before the media files. So if you click on the text box that you want to load before a media file and Duplicate it (Cmd+D) it will lay right over the top of it without anybody realizing it. And it will load first. Of course, the font suffers a little, but it accomplishes the desired effect. In case the duplicated text box isn't aligned sufficiently after the page loads, give the overlaying text box a background color that is the same as the page. That way the latent text box doesn’t even need to be visible after the page fully loads.
    This takes a bit of fudging around and re-publishing, (checking it on different browsers is highly recommended), but until Apple fixes the bug it seems like the easiest way to keep people entertained with reading while they wait for the media file to load.

  • Load Based Teaming on UCS

    I am using Load based teaming on UCS.  If vmnic0 is connected to the physical network through Fabric Interconnect A, and the connection from this fabric interconnect to the physical switch becomes saturated, does the load based teaming algorithm sense that?  Or does it not sense it due to the fact that the vmnic is in reality is not a physical NIC but is actually just a logical representation of a physical NIC?

    Thanks for your reply.  Yes I'm aware that lbt can't sense beyond the hosts physical NIC.  But the question has to do more with whether UCS takes that virtual NIC that it presents and presents it in such a way that LBT can sense the contention the virtual NIC experiences as it contends with other virtual NICs within UCSes own world to place ethernet frames onto the wire.
