Portege R700 - Issues with video playback with resolution over 360p

I've got this video playback issue from day one. While for instance on YouTube, videos with resolution above 360p freeze up while the sound is ok.
I've contacted Toshiba through which I got a linke to the latest bios and drivers. After the upgrade issue persists. I sometimes get a green screen while watching flash video as well. I'm guessing this is a graphic card hardware issue. Any ideas? Thanks! (Portege R700 19L, win7 pro 64)

Multi monitor issues with resolution(?)

At a customer I have got a really strange and annoying problem. The customer has got a Hyper-V VM with 2012 R2 Server as a RDS server aka Terminal Server.
One user has got issues with his multi monitor setup. The connection settings seems to be OK. It is set to full screen and the checkbox for the multi monitor configuration is enabled. Theoretically this works because the user sees a correct setup with one
primary display and one secondary display. The settings itself are correct.
1. Primary display: 1680*1050
2. Secondary display: 27" 1920*1080
The display settings on the client are nearly the same except that the numbers of the two monitors are different (those numbers you get when you click identify at the resolution change window). On the Windows 7 client the primary display
number 2 and the 27" has got the number 1. On the Terminal Server the primary display has got the number 1 and the 27" display has got the number 2. But the corresponding resolution at the display number is correct.
Now the problem. Everything seems fine, the desktop is expended. But when the user is "touching" the top or bottom edge of the screen the display is scrolling (in full screen) - like in a 3D game scrolling over a map. The user told me that
both screens are scrolling equally at the same time. I am not sure but the user told me that if he is going to the bottom the CLIENT task bar appears. Changing the task bar of the client to fixed the user told me that the task bar will always show up. - Strange
that CTRL + ALT + BREAK does not work.
I tried to press CTRL + ALT + BREAK twice, changing the resolution to a fixed value and back to full screen again, changing the primary display to the new 27" monitor, adding smart sizing:i:1 to rdp file and upgrading the Intel HD
4600 laptop graphic drivers (must be downloaded from Lenovo :/). NOTHING helped :(.
But this strange behavior does not exist on the client. Opening two programs (simple notepad e.g.) on each display and maximize them and moving the mouse the screen borders won't show this problem. It only exist on the remote session.
Now the "funny" part. If I connect with Team Viewer to the client the problem disappears as long as I am connected. If I disconnect the problem shows up again.

This is most likely a problem with the local machine's graphics driver and monitor configuration. I would suggest trying different things like removing and re-installing the display adapter and its drivers, removing the second monitor/restarting/adding
the second monitor back, adjusting the multi-monitor settings in display properties (changing between extending the desktop to the second monitor and not), undocking/restarting/docking, changing between different modes using Fn key on laptop (if laptop), etc.
The behavior under Team Viewer is likely because the graphics configuration is different when the driver is active.
I wish I could give you more precise instructions on how to resolve the issue. I have seen this behavior (panning desktop, multi-monitor config not exactly right) probably 3 times over the last 5 years, always with a laptop, and I had to "play"
with the settings before it finally went back to normal. The instances I have seen it occur did not involve Remote Desktop specifically.

Issue with STO over delivery

I am sure this topic has been taken up so many times before. I have browsed through almost all of them. I still do not have a way of restricting STO over delivery! Require your expertise!!.
My requirement is that STO over deliver should not occur when using VL10* transactions alone.
We tried to export a flag (say delv_flag)from program 'RVV50R10C' to shared buffer and import the same into BADI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC (DELIVERY_FINAL_CHECK) to capture error message when STO over delivery is created. The entire logic is built based on this flag alone.We are deleting the flag in V50R_MAIN of the program 'RVV50R10C'.
There are some issues with this method:
1. In some cases the delete flag statement gets executed before importing from memory and hence an STO over delivery gets created. (I don't know how or why!).
2. When VL10* transaction is executed, the delivery flag is set. At this point in time, if the user tries to delete delivery without exiting the transaction, the BADI will get triggered and error message will be displayed. This is not correct functionality since error message should be displayed only for VL10* transactions.
Suggestion:
If I change the location of exporting the flag to include 'LV50R_VIEWF43' (form delivery_create), do you suppose it would work? Would Idocs trigger this?
If anybody has worked on similar requirement please share your inputs. Urgent!!!!

I have read about delivery tolerances too "The overdelivery tolerance functionality is available only for the deliveries created with reference to sales orders and not for deliveries created with reference for PO's or STO's".

Issue with voice over narration for a presentation

When I record a voice over narration (Keynote 09) and then play back - the slides do not always play back with the sound. It seems to be an issue with slides using a build-up ... although it finishes - it then sticks and the sound for the next slide carries on out of sync to the visual - EG - every time I try it happens on the same slides - A good example is one that is followed by a .mov built into a slide. The sound track runs before the new slide image appears - Also I have problems with the movie - as the sound from the .mov file does not come through, so I have to record the movie sound on the narration rack .. confused!?

It sounds like you are making too many assumptions and not actually testing anything.
For instance, emoji may not cause issues for other contacts (maybe it is and you don't know it) but if I were testing this issue, the first thing I would do is remove the emoji from the contact info.
Next thing I would do is make a fake contact called "Home Other". And see if the Voice Control asks you to pick between Home and Home Other
Another thing I would do is add multiple numbers for your home contact (real or fake) And see if you can get the Voice control to find the contact and ask you what number you want to pick. (home or mobile)
And last thought that I had....You mentioned that the Voice Control dials a random person every time, but how random is it really? Are you sure that part of these people's names don't phonetically sound similar to the word Home?

Photoshop CS4 Extended, issues with resolution and font sizes on Mac

I have Photoshop CS4 Extended, which worked fine on my old 15 inch Macbook Pro, I think it was 2011 and had high definition display.
I now have a new 15 inch 'late 2013' Macbook Pro with retina display (2880 x 1800), and OS 10.9.4
I have 2 problems:
1) Using photoshop now, the resolution is a lot worse than with my old computer, even though my screen is higher resolution.
For example, the images themselves are worse resolution on my display, far less crisp and more pixelated than any of my other programs. And even the windows such as 'save as...' screens are terribly pixelated also. Is there a way to fix this?
2) When using the type tool, I cannot find how to change the size of the font. There used to be numbers which I could change, and also select the font type, both on the top menu bar always visible. Now there is not anymore. What there is there at the top, is what looks to be a bar on top of another bar. The top layer bar is on the left and reaches about one third of the way across the top, and I can drag it by its corner so it can extend more, but not less. It looks like there are things behind it which I cannot see, because it is over the top of them. Perhaps the text size and font options are stuck behind that. What can I do?

Hi JJMack, you said "Seems like you want a low resolution display hook and external display to it." I do not know what that means. I did a google search for "low resolution display hook" and it came up with zero results. Also I do not have an external display, only my laptop.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this issue? I would greatly appreciate any solution.

Audio issue on video playback

Hi there
Since upgrading to Lion I have noticed that when I playback a video, using whatever application, itunes or quicktime there is a noticeable tapping or rsping noise in the background of the audio. I've tried many different videos and still the same. It has only recently happened. Any ideas?

So you originally had 3.2 and flashed to ? 3.3. It looks like 3.3 updates the VIA 8237 contoller firmware version.

I see no mention of SATA fixes on any bios updates. MSI has a warning about the 9.1 version "This BIOS Supports dual core and E6 version CPUs. We propose to use BIOS v3.xx for system stable if you didn't install these two CPU models." Unsure about the Bios version jump. Seems kind of fishy.
Could you list complete system specs?

Issues with WebDav over SSL via Terminal Server when Accessing SharePoint 2013

We have deployed a terminal server from which multiple users access and heavily use SharePoint 2013 (hosted on a separate server). The SharePoint site is published to the internet and is operating over an SSL certificate. Over the last few months we have
been encountering a randomly occurring issue where all the users become unable to use Open with Explorer or mapped drives to access the site. During this time they can still access the site through the browser OK and download files etc. This issue sometimes
reoccurs every few days, although at points it hasn't occurred for a couple of weeks before resurfacing.

TS 2008 R2 Enterprise
Site added to Trusted Sites. (have checked during broken time and still recognized as trusted)
Using IE 11, site added as compatibility view

My test result are below:
Restarting the SharePoint server or the terminal server will resolve the behaviour
until the issue occurs again.
Users on the terminal server can still open the

URL (this url is bound to the same UCC cert) with open with explorer during this time.
While users are unable to access the ttps://clientsite.harrierhc.com
URL, if they access the same site from WebDAV with a separate binding (e.g. ttp://clientsite the behaviour works fine.
All other users not on the terminal server can still use the open with explorer behaviour during this time.
IIS reset on the SP Server & restarting the web client service on the terminal server have no impact
Reimporting the IIS certs have no impact
There are numerous errors in both server’s event logs but none at the time of the issue instigation.
Clearing the IE cached certificates has no impact
Going to IE properties for the site and clicking the ‘Install Certificate’ has no impact

IE Stacking Issue and Video Playback

This page works great in every browser except IE. It's giving me a weird stacking problem and the video isn't even appearing on the page (although the audio is working). Any suggestions as to why this is happening? Thanks.

I don't know much about .asp but it shouldn't make much difference - in the generated output file, the doctype should be the first line to prevent IE going in quirks mode. Your video seems to have contradicting styles applied to it. I would suggest combining into one style. I tried turning off the latter position:absolute and it didn't seem to affect anything - in fact I removed that whole style and nothing 'seemed' to have changed but do some testing yourself and see what happens. I would also add a z-index so it sits above everything else on the page.

IPhone issues with pics over iMessage

Our iphones are telling us that our pics we are tring to send are not delivered. But the other person can see it. Also I was using my iPad and it was having the same problem. Then when I checked my iPhone, the pics didn't sink with the message i had delivered. All the texts were there, but no photo. Also it's taking a really long time to sync with iCloud on our computer.

backup the device with itunes.
Restore the device with itunes and set up as new.
Sign into the facetime and imessage to activate it.
After that is done and activation is good.
Restore from the backup.
Then make sure to sign into facetime and imessage again and you should be good to go

Please read the Thread completely, I have created a Report to see Yearly Turnover%, The report works fine but when I take Quarter and Months in it, it restricts the result to only 1 line(i.e., my first year's Turnover) and when I opened the Physical query, I saw the BI Server is using
ROW_NUMBER() OVER (PARTITION BY)
which is not at all necessary.
*I tried disabling WITH_CLAUSE_SUPPORTED and PERF_PREFER_MINIMAL_WITH_USAGE but didn't get any resolution, Could anybody help me out?

Transparency issues with images over color backgrounds

I have a transparent .png that I place over a color background. When I do this, there's a slight discoloration in the image's transparent background. As a result, it looks the image really isn't transparent, but has a slight white background. I can't seem to get rid of this and have tried for days. Can anyone help me out here?

Issue with voice over in imovie

The voice over I recorded in imovie is only coming out of one speaker. I think the term is "panned left". How do I get the voice over to sound in both speakers?

Issue with video playback

I'm having an issue where video playback drops to 1 frame per second or less. The problem occurs when I have the mouse on the same screen as the video (dual screen setup) or on the second screen.
As you can see in my information, I'm running an IBM Thinkpad T43 with a Viewsonic q20wb monitor.

Yes, I have just used the normal Video-object together with the normal trick to load Flash Video files with it. Nothing special only with a full URL for the play()-method. I have attached the source code for your convenience. The original files are edited in Premiere Pro CS4 and are based on one original ripped DVD vob file and a newly created Quicktime-based slideshow animation which has then be edited into one using Premiere.
After that I have selected the sequence of the Premiere project which I have exported using File > Export which is using Adobe Media Encoder. For the encoding I haved used the Export Settings: "Format FLV | F4V", Codec On2 VP6 and then altered the video size and bitrate so that the file size gets smaller this is for the Alzheimer08.f4v file. The other file used the H.265 Web Medium profile with also the video size and bitrate modified after it got encoded and uploaded to my webserver.
The original files used by the Premiere Pro project are:

More Issues with 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 than ever had before

Since updating my iPhone 5S (T-Mobile) to both 8.0.1 and then 8.0.2 I've had more issues than I've ever had with any iOS in the past (with the exception of iPhone 4 running iOS 7, but clearly that is an older phone, not a 1 year old model like the 5S). Have tried resetting, powering off, etc too by the way.
Here is the list of things I've had coming up as issues:
- Safari Video Playback (Constantly buggy, either never loads, or when it does scrubbing through video is like a broken record)
- Graphical glitches with top screen (Clock / battery portion) always appearing layered over other programs when it shouldn't be.)
- iMessage ( SMS and MMS to non-iOS users takes SEVERAL or MORE attempts to deliver even with 4G/LTE on)
- Mail - When new mail messages arrive in inbox the Notification pops up DELAYED, along with the delayed alert sound (sometimes occurs in Messages/Texts)
- Notifications pop up and sometimes stay on the screen longer than usual (is this a new feature / suppose to be helpful? It isn't.)
- Keyboard Graphical issues (when typing in text boxes in emails or websites, the keyboard cursor becomes delayed and has to catch up with my keystrokes)
- Overall slightly slower (again I know iOS 8 is optimized for whatever the newest hardware is out (iPhone 6), but is there really that much of a difference in hardware between the 5S and 6 that makes this version of iOS 8 so buggy on my phone?)

No video on low resolution TV

My Apple TV is connected to a TV that supports up to 480p (75Hz). It is set at the resolution: 640 by 480 at 60Hz. It still does not work. The TV says Not Support.

HDMI is the only supported method, there will be no guarantee with converters. It also needs to support at least 720P. Even if it did work you would have issues with resolution, aspect ratio and be unable to view protected content (ie iTunes, Netflix). Functionality could also cease at any time
