Portege R705-P25 LCD Back Cover Assembly part number

Hi all,
I'm looking for the part number for the LCD Back Cover Assembly. The Cover hast the following code in it
GM902984813A-D
but I'm not able to find the right part for it. I tried to look for it in "National Parts Depot" but I need another part #, something like P000.....
The Laptop is the following:
Toshiba Portege R705-P25
Part #: PT314U-00U014
Serial #: XXXXXXXXX
and the LCD screen has the following part # in it:
NRL75-EE09916A 00625D1H 4771
Maybe one of you, or someone from Toshiba-Support can help.
Thank you
[Moderator edit to remove serial number.]

I'm sending you a PM with a little more information.

  • LCD Back Cover for MSI GT780DXR

    Hi people
First of all hi everyone in this forum
I just recently broke the LCD back cover from my MSI GT780DXR in the area of the right hinge. The "structures" for the screws are broken from the cover, and after trying to glue it back I desist and I'm searching for a new cover
I've been surfing the internet trying to find the cover for my model (apparently the msi 1761 "structure") and the only place I have found the actual cover is in rkcomputers. Is really expensive (125$!!) but the problem is that they apparently don't send products to Europe (I live in Denmark).
    Anyone here can help my?

Ask MSI for a spare part: >>How to contact MSI.<<

  • Assembly part number for individual PXI chassis slot blockers?

I need the individual assembly part numbers (not the catalog or packeaged kit number) for the standard 3U PXI chassis slot blockers.  The ones we have accumulated are stamped with the part numbers below but I need to know if this is the part number for the "assembly" with fasteners, or just aluminum plate.
    1 slot   185365C-01
    2 slot   185365C-02
    4 slot   185365C-04
also is there a there 3 slot available (perhaps a -03)?
    Thanks,
    Darrow

    Hi Darrow,
The part numbers listed above are indeed for the plates. Those three sizes are the only ones available through National Instruments; unfortunately there is no three-slot plate.

  • W700 LCD bezel screw caps part number?

    Hi everyone,
I've had the LCD screen replaced in my W700 recently. One of the plastic square screw caps that mask the bezel screws is peeling off however (it seems they don't like being re-used).
I've looked in the Hardware Maintenance Index PDF but can't seem to find the part number to re-order the screw caps so I can just stick a new one on (I presume it's a CRU part given how easy it is to install by the user).
Can anyone here (Lenovo staff or otherwise) tell me what part number I need? As far as I can tell the W700 screw packs don't contain these screw caps. Maybe it's part of the LCD screen bezel?
I just want to get someone at Lenovo to pop some in an envelope for me, first thing's first though is the part number.
    Many thanks all,

If you need the square caps for the LCD bezel you can order the screw kit 60Y5510. It's normally for T510/W510 but the caps are the same. The only difference is the number. TheW700 has 6 screws, T510/W510 just 3. But the kit might have enough caps.
    Hope this helps.

  • Portege R705 stuck in "install" of Windows update...

    Hello,
Last night I downloaded the usual Windows updates.  Now, however. it is stuck on the blue screen and says "Installing update 4 of 23".  The circle icon has been turning on the page for hours.  Attempts to reboot by holding down the power button have been useless since it just returns right back to the ïnstalling update screen.
Any ideas about how to get out of this screen or restart?
    Thanks!
    John in TN

During the reboot from holding down the power button, press and hold the F8 key. On the Advanced Boot Options menu, choose Safe Mode.
    Then do a System Restore.
       What is System Restore?
If you want to talk more, tell us which Portege R705. And what is the part number?

  • Part number ASY-47738-001 (back cover of phone)

I received my BB Curve today but the back cover does not close proper as it seems bent on the right side (if looking at the device from the front). I would want a replacement cover so does anyone know where I could order one. The part number on the plastic cover is ASY-47738-001.
    Thanks.

No. Your iPhone is not fake, it just had the back cover replaced. You can go to Apple Store and buy a new back cover for $29, make Genius reservation so you do not have long wait time.

  • Pictures hazy with flash on. (Faulty back cover?)

Hi, I recently bought an n900 and I'm having a problem with the camera.
With flash on the pictures I take are hazy on one side.  Now the funny part is if I take the WHOLE back cover off the picture (same conditions and with flash) comes out looking rather normal.
Here is a thread on maemo.org with people having the same issue.
Also it seems like not everyone has the issue....
    http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=36675&highlight=pictures+hazy
If you look on page 3 of the thread someone shows an example with his christmas tree.  He got a new phone and on page 4 he takes the same picture on his new phone with flash and with cover on and the problem is gone....
Obviously its not software related because taking the back cover off fixes the problem.
Is it a faulty back cover?  Faulty camera cover?  Assembled wrong?
Should I get my phone replaced no knowing for sure if it will even fix the problem? Does Nokia know about this issue?
Not sure what to do, any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

well thats what the guys in the maemo thread were thinking also.  It's actually on the right side when you are viewing the picture on the phone.

  • Hp g70 back cover replacement

i have a hp g70 here, and im about to replace the back cover, coz the other one broke, but you know the wireless antennas, the two that are on either side that are attached to these metal bits, it looks like they are soldered on, if thats the case, will i have to de solder them and solder them to the new back? thanks.

Hello Banhien, I checked that part number and I believe it's for a Compaq CQ10 Series, not for a dm1-3000.
     http://www.getpartsonline.com/594808-001.html
I think this is the correct part number taken from the manual.

     @ taxo_bravo
Have a look at this link, I think this is the correct one.
     http://www.pchub.com/uph/laptop/355-74898-20351/HP-Pavilion-dm1-3000-Series-LCD-Rear-Case.html
The photo is kind of dark, but if you enlarge it and look carefully it has this interlocking "circle" pattern on the back like your DM1.
I have used this source many times to order hard to find parts and they have been proven reliable.
HP Media Services Library to get it apart.

Let me know if you need help with the library, also know that it's a big job to replace the back cover.
I also took it for granted that your model is actually a dm1-3121es and not a dm1-312es.
See below to the link which I think is your model.

  • Does apple sell the back cover for iphone 5?

As we all know the iphone 5 back cover is made of aluminum and how easily it's edges can get scratched....
now if i don't like protective covers and I am willing to invest in replacing the back cover after a while with an original one, can I purchase it from apple?

Apple does not sell any iPhone parts. 3rd party suppliers like iFixit.com would be your best bet, but will void any warranty you may have.

  • Z1 COMPACT REPLACEMENT BACK COVER.

Sony Mobile! I bought my xperia z1 compact and it easily scratches itself. I want to replace the back cover because it acquired so many scratches in just a week of placing it in my pocket! The front i removed the asf! I called the service center here in Manila to inquire about the back cover replacement and it is 2500 pesos!!!! And they will add a 750 pesos labor!! This is not good! This is not how you provide support for replacement parts if i am within warranty! I think 2500 pesos replacement for the back cover is expensive and an additional 750 for the labor is robbery! We need a discount if we are within warranty! Call me 63998 971 8019! Btw we are mislead that it is scratch resistant! It is not!!!

    I'm sorry to hear that.
I suggest that you raise this with your local support team to get further information about the warranty and how to proceed with this in the best possible way:

  • Nokia 2600 classic - how do I get the back cover o...

I have just bought my first mobile phone ever, so am a complete novice; I have tried to follow the instructions to press the release button and take off the back cover to fit the battery, but I cannot get the cover to open.
The main question is, am I trying to open the phone at the right end - i.e. if the phone is face down, the end nearest to the loudspeaker?
I am loathe to use an implement on the phone in case I damage the case.
Any advice would be very welcome - I feel so stupid!
    Thank you.

nothing to be ashamed of, we all have problems with certain phones sometimes.
the back cover of the 2600 is quite big and covers the whole back side plus sides of the phone that's why it's difficult sometimes to remove.
the release button is located at the top of the device , with the phone facing down press on that button, remeber that the body of the button is actually part of the body and not of the cover and so performs as a latch.
while pressing hard enough on that button you can fell that the button goes in enough distance to clear the whole thickness of the back cover plastic. Now wedge your finger nail between the cover and the body anywhere at the top of the device, that should give you enough lift to release the upper part of the cover.
pull up and slightly backward to release the lower part of the cover.
for a diagramtic representation , please take alook at your user manual, available here:

  • Toshiba Portege R705-35 Fails to detect video cam and speakers

My Portege R705-P35 laptop has stopped detecting my video cam and speakers. I have updated the system Bios, audio (Realtek) and video drivers and recently reformated to reinstall original settings and drivers.  Nothing has worked.  The device manager does not detect the video cam or the standard speakers.  When I connect my Logitech headset through the USB port it picks up both the headset and the microphone.  Both work fine through Skype and in online videos.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and, if so, figured out the solution?

My Portege R705-P35 laptop has stopped detecting my video cam and speakers. I have....recently reformated to reinstall original settings and drivers...The device manager does not detect the video cam or the standard speakers....
This seems strange for these 2 seperate devices to both fail at the same time. You could also try a proper system reset and see if this helps bring them back.  Power off your system, unplug everything including the AC, remove the battery, press and hold down the power on button for 30 seconds, replace battery and AC, power on, when you see the Toshiba logo press the 'F2' key to enter BIOS Setup, in setup press 'F9' to load setup defaults, press 'F10' to save and exit, boot into Windows, and test your webcam and speakers again.
But, when you say that you "recently reformated to reinstall original settings and drivers", do you mean that you performed a Toshiba Recovery to return your unit to its factory default out-of-the-box setup, as directed starting on page 60 of your User's Guide? This is considered the gold standard test on whether you have an actual hardware problem/failure or not.

  • Removing back cover no captive screws?

Several months ago my toddler stuck something in my imac g5 with isight's slot drive.
Today, I had problems starting the computer as it remains on the grey loading screen and never goes to the log-in page.
I recently read up on how to remove the back cover. There are no captive screws on the bottom panel of mine. There are 5 screws that come out and then when I go to lift the back cover the whole LCD screen with components removes from it's plastic housing. The cover is not opening up?
Can someone please help me? Please? I feel like I'm going crazy!

I'm afraid that unless your can get your iMac into Target Disk Mode you will have to rely on the tech to remove your drive and copy it. Actually, if they are working on the optical drive and the logic board, there;s no reason why you should lose your data, but to be on the safe side, ask the techs to copy your drive to another one.
