Portfolio analyzer- No active analysis structure available

Hi experts,
We are planning to use portfolio analyzer. but i m getting an error "No active analysis structure available".
I want to maintain this setting in config. but i m not having a clear understanding of this please help and suggest.
Query 1.
SPRO -> Financial Supply Chain Management -> Treasury and Risk Management -> Basic Analyzer Settings -> Reporting Characteristics -> Copy Sample Customizing Settings -> Analysis Characteristics and Structure: Activate Sample Sett
in this link i have found 2 things
a. create charactersis - i have run this and it s showing that "Characteristic WY....... already existed and was not changed"
b. create chrachtersis and analysis structure and in this config it is demanding name of analysis structure..
Please suggest which analysis structure wh should maintain here.
is any structure provided by SAP ? or it is user defined filed ?

Hi Gaurav,
To activate analysis structure you can use the transaction AFWA.
And then you have to run the transaction JBRGE and select all the checkboxes to recreate the environment.

Problem in Transferring activity ID structure to activity codes

I am working on a power plant schedule. We have two sets of structure for Activities i.e. Activity ID consisting of 10 digits and activity codes. we have setup a database as per our requirement. People who have worked on Power plant projects might be aware that there are two many systems involved the numbers runs into few hundreds.
For a certain specific client requirement I have to use activity ID structure in place of activity codes. For this i need to transfer all system name and description in Activity ID to Activity Codes....its a tedious process. if anyone had encountered such a problem please revert back

This might be an area where the project.xls file would prove useful. It used to be available on the Primavera Knowledgebase, I assume Oracle has it on theirs as well. I assume, because I can't access the KB anymore.
Anyway, using Project.xls (or projectmod.xls) you can connect to the data dictionaries and create values much more quickly. Activity.xls (or activitymod.xls) allows you to assign values to activities pretty efficiently.
It has worked for us many times.

0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 - Activity Analysis

We have CRM 5.0 and BW 7.0 I am trying to activate business content for Activity Analysis from CRM Helpdesk. I have activated the Cube (0csal_c01), the ods all the way to the data sources. but I cannot find any process chains, and I have found 2 infopackages. I want to know what chains for master data and transaction data to activate, I cannot find anything in business content.
please help.

I am reconsidering my option to using 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 header extractor. My issue is that I need to track all status changes tio a particular activity in a given day. I think that the Activity header extractor only provides me with the last status.
I came across this extractor 0CRM_TSS_DTRACK - Document lifecycle processing extractor. It claims that it can track the changes in statuses and in BI (through BI Content) several cubes and queries are available to calculate status aging ect. It sounds like the right fit.
The main difference between the extractors is the delta process. AIMD vs AIED respectively. AIMD provides after images via the delta queue. Whereas AIED provides after delta images via the extractor. Can someone please simply explain that fundamental difference there?? providing an after image via extractor/delta queue. What does this implicate?
Understanding on this key difference would go a long way in making my design decisions correct...thanks for help and interest.

Procedure
Please check whether the relevant entry already exists
I have tried report RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL also, but no success.
I have checked table and entry is there. i have checked we31 for segment there also segment is existing.

since i used to get ORA-00600: INTERNAL ERROR CODE, ARGUMENTS: [25012], [7], [39] and i need to validate the table and this table is very huge(200 gb) where will be the output generated if any error is there in table including indexes.

Inaccurate Actual Work hours in the Portfolio Analyzer Cube Report

I am trying to create a report that will show all resources and the status of their timesheets. For the sake of this picture I removed the project list and resource list from my pivot table. I am using the Portfolio Analyzer cube for creating this report.
My question is why when using Actual Work is it showing the same hours for timesheet status? I would think the columns would each have different hours based off which stage of the time approval process the resource was in.

No. It is only showing hours from project status and not timesheets. Timesheet is a completely separate bucket of time.

Log into Activity Analysis (EPO)

Hello,
I have a problem since Friday, 31st October and basically I cannot log into Activity Analysis (EPO) but my colleagues can. I have contacted support.BOSAPEMEA_sap.com and they refer me to this Web site. It was very complicated to log a tickets with EPO Help Desk, sorry to telling that but for 'common' user like there is not an obvious option named "log your query". I still do not know if here is a right place to log a ticket?
The error message is "An error has occurred. Error code 8088021.General Data base error.Class CUserInfo . GeneralRowSetOpenError."
Please could you advice what cause the problem and options to resolve it.
I would very appreciate if you could answer by tomorrow evening for example....
Also if you have a guide how to log a query on your WEb please could you sent me?

One of your colleagues has raised this error as a support request, and to my knowledge the issue has now been resolved following a server reboot. Your error message indicates a there being a problem with your client machine connecting to the database server via the application server, so it is possible that the connection had been dropped and the reboot restored that machine-to-machine communication.

I am getting an error while activating the transfer structure, I have the same datasource comming from a 2nd instance of R/3 and its working fine with the 2nd source.
I mean same datasource comming from two R/3 instances and connecting to one infosource.

there is an OSS Note (120446) related to your problem, but it seems related to a very old release (what's yours ?)
Anyway, it suggests:
"the transfer method in the transfer rules must be set to TRFC with ODS"

Error while activation of structure CI_MMH1

I have added two new 'Z" fields in the structure CI_MMH1 ( User exit ).But at the time of activation system is giving error.
Could anybody tell me is there any other way to add those fields or Am I missing something.

Tried to update to IOS6 and now my ipad is trying to restore -- getting error "activation server not available" help! Have I lost all my video files?

I was trying to do a simple udate of the ios software. I connected to ITunes and the Ipad screen popped up saying there was an update available. I clicked on the update and it started updating and also there was a message saying it was backing up. But then I got a message to click here to complete the update -- with a restore. I did that and now my IPad is n ot woking at all -- I get the initial startup screen and a message that says "your ipad cannot be activated because the activation server is not available" I've tried connecting to itunes and get the same message -- server not available. The devices menu option is grayed out so I cant sync, backup,, restore nothing.... HELP! please! I only wanted to do a simple update -- now I think I've lost all my pictures and video files -- is there a way to get them back??

Try restarting everything and then try to sync or reactivate. Quit iTunes, reboot your computer, reboot your iPad and then try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

"Call Activity" task not available in Jdeveloper BPM 11G Beta2 ?

The "Call Activity" task is no longer available in Jdeveloper component palette (as of 11.1.1.3.PS2_GENERIC_100302.2020.5629)
But this task is still available in BPM Composer (BPM 11G Beta 2 same delivery as Jdeveloper).
We are currently in the modelizaion phase of a Business Process and for the flexibility , lisibilty it's really important for us to use this feature.
Could you provide us a patch or a new version of Jdeveloper where this issue is fixed ?

The Call Activity was removed because this feature is not ready to be released as part of R1. It will return soon! It should also be removed from Process Composer.
In the meantime, the functionality is nearly the same if you use a separate process and call it using the Service activity.

Specifically I am looking at RV60AFZC routine USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP and want to fill MWSKZ which is in KOMV. But I would like to learn a new technique that I can use for any program. Thank you.

You can know if the particular structure is available in your session in either old or new debugger, all you need to do is
(SAPLHRBEN00ESS)EVENT_DESCRIPTION_GS
Where SAPLHRBEN00ESS -> Program Name
EVENT_DESCRIPTION_GS -> Structure (wa), Internal Table that you want to access.
