In this document they have mentioned How much memory mapping effects.
Pls anyone can mention How much memory Adapters effects will be useful to suggest my basis gui for memory allocation.

Go to Solution.The easiest, though not exactly inexpensive, solution to this is to get what's called a "reverse graduated neutral density filter". These are clear on the bottom, turn very dense sharply in the middle and then fade less dense toward the top. Good ones are rectangular and fit in a dedicated holder that attaches to adapter rings sized for various lenses. For your SX50 you'd need a filter adapter (we'll asume Canon's 67 mm one for now) for the SX50 (to supply threads for filters to screw in to). This will also let you use a polarizer, to control reflections and sometimesdarken the blues of the sky. Next would be a filter holder and adapter ring. For the SX50 a Cokin P filter holder will do, and the 67 mm adapter ring. Next you'll need a reverse grad (I'd suggest 3 stops). Singh Ray makes them to fit the Cokin P filter holder. There may be other companies that do but Singh Ray does very colour-neutral ones. Put all these pieces together, compose your picture and put the transition right over the sun.
If that sounds expensive, there are software approaches. One involves taking several exposures, bracketing so you expose for the sky, the sun, and the ground, then stacking them in a "high-dynamic range" (HDR) single image. Many applications are available to do this.
Alternatively, since your SX50 can shoot RAW, take a single shot, exposed for the upper sky and use Digital Photo Pro to adjust the darker and brighter areas to bring out the best detail in all of them. The first few times you try this you might want to bracket and see what gives you the best results.
These three approaches will give you different results; personally I prefer the results from using the Singh Ray reverse grad.

When I connect my Macbook Pro (2009 model) using a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter to display a presentation via projector, only the top-left portion of what is displayed on my Macbook Pro's screen is displayed on the projector, as though I zoomed in on that portion of my screen. The projector is on and the adapter and the cable that connects the adapter to the projector machine is correctly connected. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

It sounds like the external display you are using (projector) operates at a smaller resolution than your MacBook Pro. You may want to configure the display preferences in System Preferences for the external projector.

Using a variable in "arrayTerminatedBy" clause while using a file adapter
Hi All,
How can read a file of sample shown below using a file adapter.

2008|xxxxxxx|
2007|yyyy|
2009|zzzzzzz|

first line is the header
last line is footer
middle portion is the body
'3' in the footer is the total no of record count in the body
I am able to read the header and body.
The problem i am facing is; when it is reading the footer it is treating the footer as a record in the body and is throwing an error stating - expected the format as "yyyy"
I have to use "arrayTerminatedBy" to indicate the end of the body. But that terminating field is a varying field. How can i use this variable field in the "arrayTerminatedBy" clause.
Can any one help in reading this file

Zero size files in Sender File Adapter
Hello!
I have the problem with my Sender File Adapter (ftp).
Sometimes in ftp directory there are empty files or messages with a zero-sized payload.
This situation cause an error and Adapter "sleep" until I save-active it in a configuration. (before I removed the 0-size file...).
Any suggestion?

What the note states is that if your Sender File adapter picks up and empty file, then it would not trigger any message at all.
So, if what that note says is correct, then I guess for the empty file, the adapter would not ve passed any message to the integration engine.
Is there any entry in SXMB_MONI? If yes, then it means some message is actaully being passed by the adapter engine to the integration engine which shouldnt have happened at all.
What does the error message in the File Adapter state?

Java Program with Adapter / Facade Pattern

I'm very new to the Java language and have been given a fairly complicated (to me) program to do for a course I'm taking. The following is the scenario. I'll post code examples I have and any help will be greatly appreciated. Let me apologize ahead of time for all the code involved and say thank you in advance :).
The program is the follow the following logic:
Organizations A's Client (Org_A_Client.java) uses Organization A's interface (Org_A_Interface.java) but we want A's Client to also be able to use Organization B's services as well (Org_B_FileAuthorMgr.java, Org_B_FileDateMgr.java, Org_B_FileIOMgr.java).

2. Validate the Source XML against its DTD
3. Extract information regarding the XSL file from the given XMLTransformerConfig xml file
4. Apply the XSL Transformation to the source XML file to produce the target XML
5. Validate the Target XML against its DTD
Now I'm not asking for a free handout with this program completed as I really want to learn how to do a program like this, but I really don't have ANY prior java experience other than creating basic classes and methods. I don't know how to bring the whole program together in order to make it all work, so any guidance for making this work would be greatly appreciated.
I've researched over 100 links on the web and found alot of useful information on adapter patterns with java and facade patterns, as well as SAX/DOM examples for parsing xml documents and validation of the DTD, but I can't find anything that ties this all together. Your help will be saving my grade...I hope :). Thanks so much for reading this.No one has anything to add for working on this project? I could really use some help, especially for creating the code for the adapter/facade pattern classes.

I have to make lots of speech bubbles (150+) that all have texts inside them which differ in length. I want the speech bubbles to look the same in terms of style, but I need different sizes of course for each text. This means that the rectangular part of the speech bubble should adapt in length and width to the text inside it, while the "arrow" pointing towards where the bubble is coming from (e.g. the person who speaks) should stay the same on every bubble. So is there a way or a workaround to make such "adapting" speech bubbles?

1. Draw a speech bubble. Mine is a rectangle with rounded corners and a triangular pointer added with Pathfinder > Add
2. Drag out a frame the same size as the speech bubble. Select the speech bubble and Copy; then select the empty frame and choose Edit > Paste Into...
3. Alt-Drag the frame with the pasted speech bubble to make a copy, then crop one copy to leave only the top of the bubble showing, and crop the other copy to leave only the bottom.
4. Drag out a text frame and insert a table consisting of 1 column, 3 rows. Set the text frame to Autosize > Height Only.
5. Set the stroke/fill of the top and bottom rows to none, and style the middle row to match the speech bubble, (in my case a white fill and 2pt stroke; left and right).
6. Anchor (paste) a copy of the speech bubble top in the top table row, and a copy of the speech bubble bottom in the bottom row.
Getting the 3 parts to match up with is where you just have to work on it until you get it right. Use the positioning tools in Anchored Object options and the column width setting in Cell options to line everything up.
Enter your text in the middle row. (Hey, look at that...a valid application of Comic Sans!) With the Cell Height set to an "At Least" setting, the cell will expand to fit whatever text you enter, pushing the the bottom row down, with the text frame auto-sizing to keep everything in play... -
Any noticable signal loss with the DVI-to-video adapter?
Hi, there. Would any of you happen to know whether there's an appreciable signal loss when converting from DVI to, say, composite video via the DVI-to-video adapter? I'd like to hook my MBP up to an HDTV (when I eventually get one), and I'm wondering if going through the adapter would produce a degraded picture for DVDs, compared to a direct digital connection from a DVD player to the TV.
Actually, I'm wondering the same thing about the audio connection. Any loss in audio quality when using an adapter to connect the MBP's mini-jack to an HDTV or receiver?

While there's no "signal loss," as such, there is a considerable loss in signal quality. However, you're over-thinking this...
HDTVs accept HDMI connections, and your Macbook Pro has a DVI output. The ports are dissimilar, but digital video signal is the same. In other words, you would simply use a DVI-to-HDMI cable. In fact, many HD cable boxes (mine included) still have a DVI port, not an HDMI port. There is no loss of signal or quality.
Really, the only difference between DVI and HDMI is the fact that HDMI transmits both video and digital audio. DVI doesn't do this, so you must resort to transmitting audio separately. Not a problem: use an optical digital cable, which your Macbook Pro will accept (as will most HDTVs). That said, you might be better off connecting the audio portion of your MBP's output to a home entertainment (surround sound??) receiver.
Now, I'm not sure about the "progressive scan" capabilities of the Macbook Pro and DVD Player. You'll have to research that yourself. I can tell you that normal DVDs can be "upconverted" by a progressive scan set-top DVD player, and the result looks absolutely stunning on an HDTV. It's not quite as good as full HD, but it comes pretty close. Also, many newer units are being made with HDMI ports. In other words, the DVD is upconverted, and the result is transmitted over a full HD connection. Best of all, these set-top boxes can be had for under $100.
BTW, the composite video you suggest is simply "standard definition," and not the best SD at that (S-Video is better). Component video (where there are three separate "RCA"-type connectors) is much, much better, but even that doesn't match digital (DVI or HDMI). Also, the DVI-to-HDMI cable you will need can be had at Walmart for around $30. They can also be found at places like Best Buy or CompUSA, but these retailers tend to over-charge for over-blown items (No one needs a "Monster" HDMI cable that costs over $100, and which does no more than the $30 cable from Walmart; digital is digital).

Cannot update mini displayport to vga adapter firmware 1.0
How come i cannot update the firmware,It says "The Updater could not find a Mini DisplayPort to Vga Adapter to update even though the adapter is already connected to my Philips HDTV.At first, the image in my philips hdtv is not clear as my secondary display plus my primary display which is my macbook aluminum has a black portion on the left and right of the screen about an inch wide so i did a little search on the net and it says i need to update the firmware so i downloaded it but i cant update it so im stuck at a crappy ,vivid image or display on my philips hdtv and a small image or display in my macbook everytime my display port is connected.I think my Philips HDTV is compatible with the display port because the image in my macbook can be mirrored but as i said the image is not clear really blurry but i maybe wrong so my second question is how do i know my Philips HDTV is compatible with my macbook as a secondary display?

I got the same error with mine back then as it already had the update when I bought it, even tho I did so BEFORE apple posted the firmware, so units leaving the factory already had the updates.
I agree with kmac1036, having recently run the update (or rather attempted to). You can't have a monitor connected to the adapter. It's also likely that your adapter is the newer version, even though the software download is being prompted. I had read on some tech blog that said the model # on the newer adapter has a -1 after it to indicate it's the revision with the updated firmware. -
Macbook Pro using Thunderbolt DisplayPort adapter doesn't recognize monitor.
So I've got a curious situation here. We ordered 3 new 13" MacBook Pros Retina (2013 model) and we were testing a cable hookup with a co-workers 13" MacBook Pro Retina (2012) but it doesn't seem to recognize the Monitor as being connected.
The setup is as follows.
MacBook Pro --> Thunderbolt Cable (plugged into thunderbolt I/O) --> Mini DisplayPort to Displayport adapter (Link) --> Dell Monitor w/ Full sized DisplayPort Input.
But when we try pluggin in a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable (like this: Link) it recognized just fine and works as expected. The obvious answer is just to get the cable that works. But sadly, we've already ordered the Thunderbolt cables and adapters....
Is there something I'm missing or am I stuck having to tell my boss we need to buy even more cables?

How do I pass an array of structs to a C function using the dll flexible prototype adapter?
What I want to do is pass into a C dll function a variably sized Array of structs of type TPS_Data. My Code compiles but when I run it in TestStand, I get an error -17001; Program Error. "Cannot allocate 0 size buffer Error in parameter 2, 'OpenFrdData'."
I've allocated the Array of structs, and all of the information is there before I call my function, so is it my prototype? Or am I asking too much of the DLL Flexible Prototype Adapter to pass an Array of Structs?
I can pass in a single struct of type TPS_Data and that works, but not an array.

There doesn't seem to be a way around this, and once the error occurs, I have to force quit TestStand. I've included the sequence file, and the dll code can be compiled from the fun
ctions shown above.
Any thoughts on how to get around this error would be greatly appreciated.

When we use lot-sizing procedures PK, I have a problem about it.
Can you please kindly help me.
The problem is.
When we run MRP and get the release date as past date in purchase requisition.
I would not like system to propose release date as past date.
Do we need more configuration for using lot-sizing procedures PK ?
The settings are mentioned as below.
* material master
- Lot size in MRP1 view : PK
- MRP Type in MRP1 view : PD
- Procurement type in MRP2 view : F
* MRP parameters
- Processing key : NETCH
- Create purchase req. : 1 (Purchase requisitions)
- Delivery schedules : 3 (Schedule lines)
- Create MRP list : 1 (MRP list)
- Planning mode : 1 (Adapt planning data (normal mode))
- Scheduling : 2 (Lead Time Scheduling and Capacity Planning)please read below for the detail explanation of the release date.

The release date is based on:

purchasing department processing time defined for the plant

planned delivery time from the material

goods receipt processing time from the material master record
Note
The planned delivery time from the
purchasing info record and the GR processing time are only taken into account
if the purchase requisition was generated via materials
planning.

Switch phone numbers between 2 different sized SIM Cards?
I have an HTC One and my dad has an iPhone 5. I want to switch phones with him but the iPhone 5 has a nano sim and the HTC One has a micro sim. Is their a way i can just switch phone numbers on the sim card? for example I have my phone number on my can I transfer it to my dads? and vise versa.
Contact your carrier to have them give you appropriate sized sim cards with the correwct numbers and services.
Alternatively, you can cut the larger sim card down to the correct size, and place the smaller sim card in an adapter to make it larger.
