Portrait photos will not sync to iPod Touch!

Hello-
When I recently synced my iPhoto library to my 1st generation iPod Touch, it would not sync SOME recent portrait-orientation photos. The photos not synced appeared to be only very recent ones (within the last week or so). Older events and imports had their portrait photos synced. Please help!

Plug in you iPT to your computer. Via iTunes, your iPod device -> click the Photos tab. See which iPhoto folder you are syncing with. It may not be including your Last Imported folder.

  • TS1702 I recently purchased several apps that will not sync with iPod touch.  Of 5 apps, three won't sync.  Computer is authorized, I've reinstalled apps, nothing works. Any ideas?

I recently purchased several apps that will not sync with iPod touch.  Of 5 apps, three would not sync.  I updated all software, checked authorizations, and reinstalled the apps -- no luck.  Any ideas?

All the apps state they are compatible w/ my model iPod Touch.  No restrictions are set that would prevent syncing.  Seems like I might have had a similar problem a while back with one app but can't recall the solution -- it was something simple.

  • Apps will not Sync with iPod Touch

    Hi,
I bought three new Apps this morning thru iTunes store.  They will not sync with my son's i-Pod Touch.  (The Apps are compatible with the iPod Touch).  When I plug the iPod into the computer and I click on the Apps tab at the top, the screen is grey and I cannot click or unclick the 'Sync Apps' button.  What can I do?
Thanks for your help!!  It is much appreciated.

    - Is the iPod connected to the computer it was last synced with? Syncing is different than manually managing music.
    - On the iPod go to Settings>Store and see who is signed in.  To change, just log out and sign in the correct account.

  • New Purchased apps will not sync to ipod touch

Ok, my son just purchased two more apps to put on his ipad touch. they show up in our library, but will not sync. "Sync Apps" is checked, as is "automatically sync new apps". All other apps are checked and are showing in his ipod touch. These two new ones, will not sync. when you check the boxes for them from the apps screen, i get the "revert" and "apply" boxes appearing. I click on "apply" then it changes to "sync" and when I click that, it goes through the sync process, then unchecks the two new apps when done. of course these two apps have failed to sync. Music sync is working fine. Any help out there?

Are the apps compatible with the iPos e.g. is the relevant iOS version on the iPod (Settings > General > About > Version) and the apps are designed to work on the iPod - an app's requirements are shown on the left-hand side of its description page in the store.

  • Itunes will not sync with ipod touch

I get no messages or errors, it just never syncs. the ipod is seen in my computer as a portable device. windows 7 64 bit system. I had the apple store verify the ipod is fine, they emailed me the directions to uninstall all apple apps and reinstall. still, same thing. some of my playlists will not let me move songs within the playlist either, i get a blue border around the songs when i try to. not all of the playlists, only random ones

  • Photos will not sync to iPod

I got my iPod during Christmas and it has been working fine until now. About a week ago, when I tried to sync my iPod, a message showed up saying "The iPod XXX cannot be synced. Required file not found" or something along the lines of that. When I looked at my photos, I noticed all that were synced from my computer had turned black, and a message pops up saying "iTunes Sync Needed: High resolution images synced via iTunes are missing. Connect your device to the computer you sync photos from and launch iTunes to sync them." So I go to iTunes and try to sync, but the same error message pops up. Any help at all would be great, I'd just like my photos back and to be able to sync my iPod again. I've looked all over for answers and I've tried many things, but it still will not work. Thank you for reading!

  • Apps in itunes software will not sync to ipod touch

We have purchased many apps for my son's ipod touch 4. Most have all downloaded and synced with his ipod. Yesterday we purchased a few apps
that show in our purchases but we cannot get them to sync to the ipod no matter what we try. The software is all up to date. The apps are called "Fun Math Division" and "Multiplication". These are showing in the itunes software. We have them "checked" to sync but they will not transfer....Please help...

Fun Math: Division and Multiplication, if you mean the one from the same developer, both are quite old, having not updated been updated in almost two and a half years, so they may well not be compatible with the newer iPod hardware and operating system. The developer has an email at the bottom of their web page:
    http://www.winpilot.com/division/
through which you can try contacting them and asking for assisance, but it would not surprise me if that developer has ceased activity and will never respond.
    Good luck and regards.

Placing your device into recovery mode
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button:
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
I just clicked on the Recevery Mode link in my previous reply and cut and pasted the above.

Brand new computer with Windows 8.1 will not sync to iPod Classic 120G.  Windows does not recognize anything but iPod Touch?  Is there a simple solution.  Diagnostics have run and failed to point to a fix.

Might be worth tearing down the whole iTunes install and starting over...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
See also HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP or HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    and paste into:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

I'm using a Mac desktop and it/my itunes will not recognize my ipod touch. I have resent my ipod and have also done all the suggested things on the apple website and still it is not being recognized, I do not know what else I can do. My macbook will recognize my ipod touch but I don't want to sync it to that itunes since it is already out of date, I want to sync it to my desktop mac where I already have the latest version of itunes, and all the music I want to sync onto my ipod touch. What can I do?

    - I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
    or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
