PoS DM 3.1 BI content 3.3
Hi all,
What is the diffrence in POS DM in BW 3.1 and BW release 3.5 and how the POS workbench work. any ideas will higly appreciate.
Thanks
Qandeel
POSDM in 3.1 does not have all the functionality that is in 3.5 (e.g. mass change of pos documents). Best to use 3.5

SAP ISR -XI - SAP POS. File size more than 11 KB failing in Inbound
Hi All,
We are implementing SAP ISR- XI - POS Retail implementation using
Standard Content Store Connectivity 2.0, GM Store Connectivity 1.0, and
other contents.
In our Inbound Scenario File-RFC , we are picking files from FTP server
for sales and totals data and if the size of this sales data file in
format *_XI_INPUT.DAT is greater than 11 kb , it is failing at XI
Mapping level, saying Exception occurred during XSLT
mapping "GMTLog2IXRetailPOSLog" of the application. We have tried and tested at mapping level no error found as this is processing files below 11 Kb successfully with same mappings, Also this is standard Mapping by SAP in form of XI Content Store connectivity 2.0.
At XI Side we have processed the file of eg: 40 KB by splitting the record data and making
file size less than 11KB and it is being processed successfully, but file of 40 kb fails.
XI Server: AIX Server.
There may be some memory setting missing or some basis problem also. Kindly let me know how to proceed.
Regards,
Surbhi Bhagathi,
this is hard to believe that such small files cannot be processed
do your XI mappings work for any other flows with something more then 11kb?
let me know about that and then we will know some more
as this is realy very small size
maybe your XI was installed in on PocketPC

Upgrading standard XI contents with customised mappings
Hi
I've successfuliy done the integration of IS-RETAIL , POSDM. and SAP POS with XI
Standard XI contents are used for this integration.
I've customised the standard XI contents as per our Client requirement.
Now i want to upgrade the standard XI contents...Store connectivity...with the latest available version...
What will happen to my customised mappings?
How to retain my customised mappings while upgrading the standatd XI contents...?
.....AbhijitU dont have to delete ur existing maps. After the import of latest version, it won't overwrite the existing SWC (make sure that the versions are different). By default, u will have both the SWC present. U may continue using some old components.

HANA Analytical View Display Data Issue
SAP Experts,
Need your kind help for the below issue,
I've created an analytical view from a DSO Active Table in HANA Studio. Through IDT (Information Design Tool), when I tried to view the contents of this DSO table (AYPURDA0100) by connecting to HANA, I see the following error which is mentioned below,
Error:

Cause of Error:
SAP AGSDBODBC DLLHDB General error;7 feature not supported: cannot execute select * on olap cube: zthd/AYPURDA0100: line 1 col 26 (at pos
Note: The AYPURDA0100 table contents are displayed in HANA Studio. However when a view was created with NO join conditions for the same table with few selected fields including measures, the display data is not working.
Your views are greatly appreciated. Thank You in advanceCheck out the comments from Marc and Lars in the thread below.

The call flow is

Please find the attached traces from our gateway and STC side. STC is saying PBX problem
Can anybody from Saudi test this by dialing 8007490000 from their SIP trunk .Tested it for you and got the same exact result, however it's working fine from FXO/ PRI lines.

JTextPane: Insert one (part of) a Document into another
Hi,
I am writing a small programm which user a JTextPane and a
StyledDocument with
an RTFEditorKit.
Now I have the problem that I want to get one Document, transport it
over
a network and insert it into another Document.
The only method in Document to insert sth needs a string but I have a
Document.
So my question is: How can I insert one Document into another or at
least append
one Document to another?
Thanks
FrankHi, it is much more simpler than i thaught.
use the getLength method of the Document-Interface.
e.g.:
InputStream in1; // Streams of your Files
InputStream in2; // Streams of your Files
RTFEditorKit rtf = new RTFEditorKit();
Document doc = rtf.createDefaultDocument();
try{
rtf.read(in1, doc,0);
int x = doc.getLength();
rtf.read(in2,doc,x);
}catch(BadLocationException ble){
}catch(IOException ioe){
}use this value in the read-method as pos and your second doc is concated to the first.
Or any other pos you like.
Hope this is what you are lokking for.
Greetings Michael
read
public void read(InputStream in,
Document doc,
int pos)
throws IOException,
BadLocationException
Insert content from the given stream which is expected to be in a format appropriate for this
kind of content handler.
Overrides:
read in class DefaultEditorKit
Parameters:
in - The stream to read from
doc - The destination for the insertion.
pos - The location in the document to place the content.
Throws:
IOException - on any I/O error
BadLocationException - if pos represents an invalid location within the document. -
Dynamically center a node in its container
Hello,
In the FX application I'm working on, I need to add a label at run time and center it in its parent container.
I can get the width of the parent container node, but the problem is that I can't get the width of the label.
Please see the example code below.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Example code:
import javafx.application.Application;
import javafx.event.ActionEvent;
import javafx.event.EventHandler;
import javafx.scene.Scene;
import javafx.scene.control.Button;
import javafx.scene.control.Label;
import javafx.scene.layout.VBox;
import javafx.stage.Stage;
public class GetLabelWidthTest extends Application {
VBox vb;
public static void main(String[] args) {
launch(args);
@Override
public void start(Stage primaryStage) throws Exception {
primaryStage.setTitle("Label width test");
vb = new VBox();
Button addLabelButton = new Button();
addLabelButton.setText("add label");
addLabelButton.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {
@Override
public void handle(ActionEvent event) {
Label label = new Label();
label.setText("test label");
vb.getChildren().add(label);
double width = label.getWidth();
System.out.println("label width = " + width); // always prints 0
label.setTranslateX((vb.getWidth() - width) / 2); // try to center it but won't work since width is 0.
vb.getChildren().add(addLabelButton);
Scene scene = new Scene(vb, 800, 600);
primaryStage.setScene(scene);
primaryStage.show();
}Hi,
If your requirement is to add the label at the center of the VBox, why dont you consider the setAlignment() method of the vBox.?
My be if you want few nodes to be aligned differently( here the button), then you can wrap those nodes with any subClass of Pane ( here i am using StackPane) and set the required alignment to the stack pane.
I am not sure whether this answers your question or not., but i hope you get my point ;)
Below is the modified code of the code which you had provided.
import javafx.application.Application;
import javafx.event.ActionEvent;
import javafx.event.EventHandler;
import javafx.geometry.Pos;
import javafx.scene.Scene;
import javafx.scene.control.Button;
import javafx.scene.control.Label;
import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;
import javafx.scene.layout.VBox;
import javafx.stage.Stage;
public class GetLabelWidthTest extends Application {
VBox vb;
public static void main(String[] args) {
launch(args);
@Override
public void start(Stage primaryStage) throws Exception {
primaryStage.setTitle("Label width test");
vb = new VBox();
vb.setAlignment(Pos.TOP_CENTER); // Aligning the vBox contents to the center
Button addLabelButton = new Button();
addLabelButton.setText("add label");
addLabelButton.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {
@Override
public void handle(ActionEvent event) {
Label label = new Label();
label.setText("test labeltest labeltest labeltest labeltest labeltest labeltest labeltest labeltest label");
vb.getChildren().add(label);
// Wrapping the button in a stackpane to align to left.
StackPane sp = new StackPane();
sp.setAlignment(Pos.CENTER_LEFT);
sp.getChildren().add(addLabelButton);
vb.getChildren().add(sp);
Scene scene = new Scene(vb, 800, 600);
primaryStage.setScene(scene);
primaryStage.show();
}Regards,

Cisco 2911 Voice Gateway SIP PSTN Calls Fail
Hello All,
I am having trouble with outboud SIP PSTN calls through a Cisco 2911 Voice Gateway. 2911 VG terminates PSTN SIP Traffic and connects to Avaya CS1000M via QSIG PRI Trunks. When calls are attempted outbound fron the PBX the caller gets a fast busy. Debug ISDN q931 shows the call hitting the 2911 properly, debug voip ccapi inout shows the call matching the correct dial peers and debug ccsip shows the invite to the PSTN Provider SBC, however within the invite the "from" address incorrectly shows the calling number with the provider SBC address (see below). does anyone have any insight on how to correct this? Attached are VG config and Debug isdn q931, voip ccapi inout, ccsip messages and ccsip call. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Help with a Data Structures Assignment
For this assignment we need to create a 'Bag' class that implements BagInterface. This becomes a bag of Coins. The problem I am having is in the Bag. The length variable ('maxLength') is not being registered. I assign it in the constructor statement, but when it is called later in the script, it shows up as 0. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
public class Bag<E> implements BagInterface<E>{
E[] entry; // array of Es
int[] frequency; // frequency of the Es

int length = 0; // current number of entries in bag

}Sorry about not using the code snippit thing.
I fixed the issue about the arrays and the length variable. I am now having an issue with the display() method. It doesn't receive the Bag object, instead is should print out the output from either the Union, Intersection of Difference bags and I'm not sure how to make it do that. An example call is:
stash1 and 2 are bag objects.
(stash1.union(stash2)).display(); -
BI Content for Point of sales( POS) module in retail
Hi Friends,
Anybody have got the link for Bi content for Point of sales(POS) module in retail industry.
Please post the link and good documents on this.
will assign the points.
Best regards
SAPDear Srinivas,
I've already run a systemtrace to find out the tables:
The following tables are involved: MPOS, MMPT, MPLA and MHIO, MHIS.
In BI-Content I just find MPOS in the DataSource 0PM_MAINTPOS_ATTR and 0PM_MAINTPOS_TEXT. That is ok for master data.
The other tables I couldn't find in BI-Content.
But maybe the BI-Content does not use these tables. Maybe there is used a view which I don't see in the trace.
Regards. -
Access Content Server Pos-installation Configuration
Hello,
I am new with Oracle ECM, I am starting to use it for Webcenter requirements.
I have installed succesfully Oracle Content Server. I accessed http://localhost:16200/cs, and it showed me the post-installation configurations.
I made some changes and restarted the server. I then realized I had made some mistakes. How can I access the configuration screen again, and make some changes? Thank you.
JoaoHi
That config screen does not show up a second time .
If you want to make modifications to the configurations then make them in<domain_home>/ucm/cs/config/config.cfg
After the changes are done UCM restart should be done .
Thanks
Srinath
