Adding Cost of Sales for Non-Stock articles to POS Inbound Pricing Schema
Hi guys
I'm working on a requirement to derive the Cost of Sales for non-stock items by pulling the current cost for the site and multiplying it by the billed quantity on VBRP. We could create a new condition type using purchase org, article and site in the condition table and manually enter condition records. However it would be more elegant to copy prices from the Purchasing list or deal prices into new condition types in the POS inbound pricing procedure. However SAP standard doesn't seem to allow condition copying from purchasing to sales.
Regards
BrettHi ,
As it happens you need to do this for Non-Stock Articles only.... then you need a routine to do this .
And then in IS -Retail do we not use NETPrice or Final Cost Price to derive the Sales Price ... In that case you get the Cost Price when the Billing doc is getting posted at line level...

POS inbound payment methods conversion
Hi,
In SAP retail customizing path, Sales Distribution, POS Interface, Adjustments, Conversions, I could define a conversion category and then for this converstion category I could creat conversion rules for payment methods. So I can map the payment method code from incoming POS file to SD price conditions...
However, after that I could not find a link between the payment category to the POS inbound profile, which is the way I think to put these conversion rules into use... But it seems I missed the step how to let POS inbound interface know to use these rules.
In other words, could anyone advice me how to make the payment method conversion work?
Thanks a lot!
StevenSaurabh
This is due to the missing or incorrect customizing settings in POS Interface. Kindly check the Profiles and conversion categories in IMG and also table WPLST will help you track the route cause of this.

Actual Activity Price calculation; KSII
Hello,
I am trying to calculate actual activity price but the system does not calculate the price though I have soecified the appropriate price indicator '5' in the Activity type master record.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!Something doesn't seem right here. You created an Activity Price and plugged in the Plan Fixed and Variable price for the Activity in KP26.
So why are you running KSII now? KSII is for Actual Activity Price Calculation, run at month-end after all your POs have been closed and activities booked.
Can you provide additional info.?
Cheers. -
Function Module or BAPI for Sales price calculation and Pricing worklist
Hi Retail experts,
We frequently change purchase conditions, but not that frequently for cases like perishables, so sales price calculations needs to be done each time. This means pricing worklist generation and release is done often and then sales price recalculation is done each time article wise and for various organization level.
We have 15000 articles for which purcahse conditions changes, it is impossible to generate and release pricing worklist and do sales price calculation for each article
So solution may be to find a FM/BAPI for the following transactions and automate them.
Do you know FM/BAPI for VKP5/VKBP or VKP6, WVN0, WVN1 transactions.
Regards
BobHI Madhu,
Thanks for the reply,
I am looking for BAPI or FM which will check all pricing condition types( like MRP of the Material(table A304), discounts(A800,A802,A803,A804) for that customer and Tax) and give me the value(KONP-KBETR).
I can only pass Customer, material, quantity etc.. so that BAPI or FM has do all standred checks/ validation and give the
KONP-KBETR for all condition types like MRP, discounts, Tax. we are developing the custom program for sales order creation so we require the all this before saving the sales order.

Nagesh

ME21N--Quantity conversion error in net price calculation
Hi MM experts,
Issue: while creating PO, when attempting to add the net price for line item. but system removes the cost and gives the follow error message says "Quantity conversion error in net price calculation".
The system was not able to convert the order unit into the purchase order price unit. Possible reasons:
i) the conversion results in a net price that is too high, or
ii) the conversion factor for the units has not been properly maintained.
iii) Check whether the units of measure and their conversion factor are correct.
I have checked material master>unit of measure> 1 PL = 22 KG maintained.
Can you please tell me how to resolve this issue?
Appreciated early response.
Thanks in advance.
SureshHi Suresh,
Please check on Material Master Data - Accounting 1 tab - Price Unit

Quantity Conversion Error in Net Price Calculation
We are currently using SRM 5.0 ECS where we created a material PO and had a problem with the product not having the language E maintain in the material master. This caused the PO to have status of "error in process" Once we fixed this issue and tried to reprocess the PO we're not getting the following error message in the Application Monitor:
No Instance of Object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External Reference
Puchase Order still contains faulty Items
Quantity Conversion Error in Net Price Calculation
Has anyone seen this or know what we can do to resolve this so that the PO gets replicated in R3?
Thanks in advance.Hi Robert,
Regarding this backend error E 212 06 Quantity conversion error in net
price calculation.
This error is because in the PO Order price unit is empty. And
quantity is null. So, please enter the quantity and order price unit
for this PO and order the PO again. Or you can retransfer the
PO manually using the FM BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC. (for this fm you need
to input the PO header guid, which you will get it from tx.BBP_PD
by providing PO number and object type as BUS2201).
This has worked for other customers.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,

Quantity conversion error in net price calculation in BAPI_PO_CREATE1
I'm creating PO from BAPI_PO_CREATE1 .here i'm getting follwing error
quantity conversion error in net price calculation.
plz guide me to remove it.Are you using quantities directly entered by the user while calling the function to do the net price calculation? If that is the case, you should use FM CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT to convert the quantity from the external format into the internal one!
Another possibility is that some customizing is missing for converting quantities in different unit of measures (like the quantity in pieces is known, but the pricing calculation is being done on kilos.. but the convertion between these 2 unit of measures is missing).
Good luck! -
Error in net price calculation, item 000010 (Please correct)
Hi
Can you tell me error and correction for the same ? It occurs during creation of Std.PO. whom RM1000 prcing procedure is assigned.
Error in net price calculation, item 000010 (Please correct)
Message no. 06213
Diagnosis
Possible causes:
o The net price is negative.
Check the prices and conditions entered.
o An error has occurred during currency translation.
Check whether the foreign currency is defined in the system.
o The unit of measure of an item is not allowed.
Check the units of measure entered.
o An internal error has occurred during the price determination
process.
A mandatory condition type is not defined in the system. Please
In the analysis under item details condition tab I got message 301 as Acess 0002 12 is missing.
Acess seq. 0002 is assigned to condition type PB00.I know this thread is very old but I had the same issue and found the solution.
Enter the SubTotal in the pricing scheme for condition P101 (in my Case 9 - Copy values to KOMP-BRTWR (gross value)).
Than it works for my case.
Hope this helps. -
Moving average price calculation logic of material with Price Control "S"
Dear Gurus,
As you know that there is a Moving price and standard price icon in the material master.
I want to understand the calculation logic of the moving average price of the materials having price control "S"
How the system calculates the MAP for standard price materials? The receipt from the process order I suppose is valuated at the process order cost after settlement, but if the issue has hapened for the material does the system recalculate the issue price also?
Below is the sample process order receipt and issue scenario:
Receipt from process order 161000000223
300 kg and GR at standard cost value is Rs 5892
Issue to process order 162000000294
250 kg and GI at standard cost value is Rs 4910.
Thus the balance at period end is 50 kg and balance at standard cost value is Rs 982.
Here in process order 161000000223 the actual cost is 10 Rs. Then how will the system calculate the MAP?
Thanking You,
Amit DhanurdhariHi
Try the following calculations,
One of them will work depending upon your version and support pack
Expected MAP calculation ( As with price control V)
= ((Qty before transaction*MAP + Transaction Qty * transaction
Price)) / quantity after transaction
New Method ( when price control is S)
= Old MAP + (Price Variance w.r.t Standard Price/Qty after transaction)

Article with Batch management in POS Inbound
Dear SAP Experts,
I encountered problem for POS inbound for articles that activated Batch Management in SAP Retail. The system always send error message to require the batch, however, I cannot give SAP the batch number I want to update the stock by using POS inbound (both aggregated sales and sales per receipt). I cannot find any IDOC type that support that.
I don't know whether SAP Retail supports batch management for article or not. In case they support it, how can we do the POS inbound for the articles.
Hope to get your supports,
Thanks in advance,hi,
"Batch management requirement cannot be changed" -
Once the material is made relevant for batch -by putting a tick in any of the relevant views in material master -it cannot be changed again if any delievry / stock is already maintained for that material.
