  • Sending Serial numbers of the article to IS RETAIL to POS system

we are doing implementation to an Electronic Retailer. For this retailer we have to maintain <b>serial number</b> in our inventory for each and every article for Goods Receit as well as Goods Issue. Here we are getting Serial Number option at the time of Receiving GRN through MIGO. But we need to send the same serial numbers to POS system through IDOC. After sales we receive the same serial number through inbound IDOC.
For this Process i need information how to send/receive IDOC for this serialised articles. Message Types. If possible T-code if it is having seperate t-code

    Hi Venkat
IDOC WPUUMS how much segment you have used for data transfer
There is one enhancement type segment u can use that segment for serial number
segment that u can use E1WXX01

  • Third Party POS System Recommendation For SAP IS-Retail

    Greetings All IS-Retail Guru,
Would appreciate your input on this. We are planning to implement SAP ( with  IS-Retail ) in our company and in the midst of replacing the legacy POS system.
Since we are in the lookout for a new POS system, we would like to get a 3rd system can integrate with SAP
( POS integration ) seamlessly with minimal effort/customization.
Appreciate if you can recommend potential vendors that fits the bill and if possible, the pros and cons of the vendors.
Looking forward to your input here.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Rgds.

I will forward your posting to the responsible solution manager. He will get in conact with you and will give you an unbeatable offer for a POS solution.

  • I am looking to implement a POS system using my iPad, What is the best software and hardware for POS?

One of my clients wants to transition to an iPad POS system and I want to know what are the best software and hardware options?
I am going to completely upgrade the hardware so I'll need solutions for card readers, printers, cash drawers and iPad enclosures that are compatible with an iPad POS system.
    Any help would be appreciated!

We're a small business and we decided to go on iPad POS deployment and started researching. We chose Maclocks iPad POS stand since it is the most secured way to use your iPad as a POS plus its design is awesome and takes 2 minutes to set it up! They have it for iPad mini too.

  • POS systems and SAP Business One

Does anyone know of any Point-of-sale (POS) systems that can work together with our SAP Business one application in retail stores.
Please can you advise us on our available POS options with SAP Business One for retail stores.
Also would there be a need to buy additional SAP licences for users with this solution or can there be a savings there?

  • Product Inventory System that Works With Business catalyst e-commerce site????  Tie into POS systems?

I am looking into getting involved with one of my long time design clients business more directly. Including, finding a solution for their inventory and being able to implement an e-commerce store for their products, which I would in turn get paid from a percentage of their online sales gross per month.
They operate a sort of mobile store that travels from various motorcycle events across the country with 3 different teams setting up at 3 different locations any one week or weekend. That aspect of the business is really seeing some serious cash sales, but they are constantly being asked about future online sales with the customers at these events which currently they have no solution for.
So I am curious if there are systems available that would or could work with a Adobe Business Catalyst e-commerce site that would allow for inventory to be scanned and bar-coded on delivery and would be able to have the new items logged into the website as sellable products while also giving the mobile stores a POS system that they can make sales from that track the current accurate inventory..  ???????

I did try unpinning but that didnt work for me either.
It took too long to get an answer so I am now using another system that doesnt have this problem. Hopefully when I use Muse again I wont have this problem. Sorry.
Thanks anyway. Maybe Ozaroth can send links to their site for instructions to get this solved.

  • Is it possible to code a store in a secure zone so it acts like a POS system?

We have a small theatre and want to use Bc for our online store to sell tickets and we want to hear if it is possible to code a secure zone to the extent that we can use it as a POS system? We don't want to pay for more than one system and it will be a hassle to integrate a POS with Bc using an API.
If we can supply the theatre with guaranteed 24/7 internet, we should be able to use the system all the time and by coding the shop in a secure zone we don't have to log into the back end of the site to do sales. Everything should flow nicely in theory, right?

  • Can someone review this nTPV (POS system) PKGBUILD, please ?

Hi, This is my first serious attempt to make a PKGBUILD, and I would like if someone can review it and make comments, bugfixes, and all kind of feedback you want. The package is nTPV, a POS (Point Of Sale) system for pubs, discos, restaurants, .... I think the program is very nice but the source tarball is not easy to build (It's mainly focused on debian). Right now the program is in spanish but the author says that for 1.2 final version it will be released in english also.
I have had to make many workarounds to make the program compile and I don't know if the process can be enhanced before trying it to be acce pted in the AUR. I Hope soon I would put a link to a binary package and a simple instruccions on how to build the complete POS system (database & customizations included).
Unfortunaly, this package depends on other one (gdchart) that hasn't an official archlinux package. So I submit two PKGBUILDS for your review.

  • Can BC tie into a POS System (Micros or Aloha) to track sales, employee performance etc.

Just wondering if anyone else has been asked this question or knows the answer.
"Can BC tie into a POS System (Micros or Aloha) to track sales, employee performance etc."

While you're waiting on an answer from the community I'd like to share the link with you that will give you an idea of what's possible to integrate. This is the list of all BC web services - https://worldsecuresystems.com/catalystwebservice/catalystcrmwebservice.asmx
Anything you are able to obtain through those services can be integrated. I don't see how employee performance can be integrated.

  • HP RP7 POS System

    Hi there,
I recently bought the RP7 POS system and the system came with FreeDOS OS preinstalled. Am not familiar with freeDOS and I need to install POS application but am having great difficulty with this. How can I remove freeDOS OS and install something like Win7 POS Ready OS or somethng friendlier?
    Please help!

    Hi,
System will contain the boot files for Windows 7.
HP_TOOLS will contain the UEFI which allows you to run extended diagnostics at start-up ( usually accessed by pressing f2 ) and allows the bios to be flashed outside of the Windows environment which is generally a safer option.
    Regards,
    DP-K

  • POS system reports daily totals for each store, not for each cashier

    Hi!
We are implementing SAP Retail (ERP 6.0 EHP4 stack 3), SAP PI (Netweaver PI 7.1 SP 8) and SAP BW (NetWeaver 7.0 ehp1 stack 4, incl BI content 704, SP 3 ) for a client. Their POS system is a 3rd party system, i.e. not SAP POS.
This issue concerns the fact that the POS system reports daily totals for each store, not for each cashier.
At my client, the daily settlements are done for each cashier. At the end of day, we will get cash drawers counted with sum of each tender (cash and checks) at the end of day. In addition, the POS system will send sum of each tender, sum of all sales and sum of different finance transactions made each day. However, this u201Ctotals messageu201D is not sent separately for each workstation, or for each cashier, but rather for each store. So we only gets the totals per store.
    Questions:
    i)     Are the tasks available for comparing totals to the aggregates for POS transaction able to handle u201Cstore-only figuresu201D?
ii)     If not, how can we adapt the tasks so they can handle u201Cstore-only figuresu201D?
iii)     Can we trigger outbound tasks sending WPUUMS and WPUTAB using outbound dispatcher automatically, or must we run this as a manual task of an employee, after checking that all stores have delivered their totals?
iv)     The u201Cstore-only figuresu201D does not include cashier statistics. Do we need the u201Ccashier statisticsu201D as total figures, or can we just populate the BAPI for each POS transaction with data, in order to populate BW infocubes for cashier statistics?
    Thanks for any advice !
    Best regards,
    Oeystein Emhjellen

    Hi Kees ...
Your profile indicates you are running Leopard v10.5.8
You need to upgrade to Snow Leopard V10.6 in order to use the App Store. This is an "upgrade", not an "update".
Make sure your Mac meets Snow Leopard's requirements here.
You must have the minimum of v10.6.6 installed in order to access the App Store.
You can purchase Snow Leopard here > Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store

  • Retail: In which POS system do we create SAP TLOG file

    Hi Gurus,
Can anyone tell me in which POS system (is it SAP Triversity?) we create SAP TLOG files( or) in someother POS sytem we create SAP TLOG files?I just want to know the POS System name  where this SAP TLOG files are created?Hope for correct answer.
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks
    Tonyrao

    Hi ,
The Genral Landscape for SAP IS Retail is  Store -> ETL -> POSDM -> ECC.
The TLog file in SAP Architecture  resides in POSDM  and the actual name of this deep structure table is /POSDW/TLOG.
When the BAPI CALL runs it pushes data in this table.  And when  data processing takes via PIPE Dispatcher
/POSDW/PIPEDISPATCHER program then it processes this TLOG data according to business rules or tasks as per POSDM Config .
This will push data to ECC via IDOCs or can push data to BW Cubes as the case may be...
So its the  POS data => POSDW TLOG => SAP ECC Transactional data like Billing doc / Art DOC / Acct DOC etc
Or it can be BW Cube data as well. You can jolly welll find these POS Tlog data in Daily Cubes as well.
However worthwhile to mention its quite difficult to read /posdw/tlog via SE16 in POSDM ....  as data resides in deep str in this  gigantic table...
    regards

  • Best POS system for use with Mac?

What is the best POS system for use with Mac?  Using Quickbooks and paper invoices and inventory.  Would like to upgrade to POS system.

Ideally it is best to have seperate (discreet) EHD's for a PC and Mac due to their differences in HD formatting. However, this is not always feasable but there are alternative solutions availble. Among those are:
Creating and useing a Dropbox account that can be shared by PCs, Macs, IOS and Android devices. Dropbox allows for 2GB of free storage and additional storage is available for a small monthly fee.
Another possiblity is formating an EHD so that it may be shared by both a PC and Mac, this format is FAT 32. The downside of doing this is the size of the files written to the HD are limited to 4GB.

  • ECC(IS Retail) between POS system

Hi in ECC where should i check aggreate sales trasactions, payment transactions at the day end.
    A) Does system creating single sales order, if yes where can i see...
    B) If i want report payment made through only credit cards and only cash and gift vouchers, in which transaction we can see.
    C) Billing list created in POS, where we can execute report in ECC(retail system)
    regards
    Satish

    Hi Satish,
You can use transaction code WPER (POS Interface Monitor) to check Aggregated Sales Data & Payment List Data.
    A. System does'nt create any sales document in the system.
    B. If you want to see Means of Payment like cash, Credit Card etc,
Go to WPER - Inbound Processing - Documents Processed - WPUTAB Payment List - Expand IDoc -    Double click on any  billing document.
    C. Question is not clear.

  • Caution: Apple Store POS system has a privacy and security leak

I made a small purchase in the Burlingame, CA Apple store the other day, receiving my receipt by email. No problem. 10 minutes later, I received another receipt. This time for someone else's transaction. The name, address, etc. of that customer included. There is a leak of information from one transaction to others, and no guarantee how much or how little information leaks.
I went back to the store and asked how this could occur. I was told that what happened is impossible. But it's not. I completed the customer satisfaction survey associated with the transaction. Normally, if you indicate dissatisfaction, the store manager gives a prompt phone call. No phone call. I sent email to the store. No response.
The software used in the point of sale system is not secure. You should avoid making purchases in store. Make them on-line to be picked up or shipped to you, but if you make a purchase at one of the roaming sales people, your privacy is at risk.

I have an email receipt which has name format of
    emailreceipt_yyyymmddR<TransactionId>.pdf
The Transaction ID is the bar code printed on the receipt in case it needs to be scanned for returns, etc.
For the case where the email address was not yours, can you check that the name of the file and the transaction id on the receipt match?
    The email comes from <storename>@apple.com.
