Position of a field on the layout

Using Oracle 10 g, what code should I write in a trigger to make the position of a field on the layout dynamic (set location on the layout)

At this time it is not possible to move the Description field in the page layout and you can not change the size of this field. I would recommend that you submit a enhancement request to CRM On Demand customer care.

    Userexit EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 is a component of enhancement MM06E005.            
    With that enhancement, you can                                                
      -   Maintain/supply your own customer fields                                
      -   Update your own customer-specific tables                                
    You cannot:                                                                   
      -   Change standard fields                                                  
      -   Change data that depends on the document header in the items            
      -   Change data that depends on an item in the document header                                                                               
    Please have a look at Business Add-In (BAdI) ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST.

    Of course you can - SPRO: Financial accounting - Accounts receivable and payable - Vendor accounts - Line items - Display line items - Define additonal fields for line item display (view V_T021S) and add table BSEG, field BVTYP.

  • Adding new fields in the layout.

    Hi gurus,
    I have a requirement in which i need to change the layout of a report v.25 through transaction VOKF. Actually i have added one field VDATU in the table VBMTV and the fields of this table are getting displayed in the output but not all fields. so through the transaction VOKF a variant has been created with some fields and there is also option for additional fields addition. But the field which I have added new through append structure doesnt appear in the possible value fields.
    So do anyone have any solution for this or if anyone has ever encountered this type of issue.

    I have added the field VDATU in the Structure VBMTV and the structure is active. This field is getting filled in the my Standard report and and is displayed only when change the layout after displaying the output.My requirement i need this field by default in the output.

    I am facing a problem and expect your help on this..
    <u><b>SCENARIO:</b></u>  After putting in the required values in the fields like the G/L Account, the fiscal year, company code, etc the transcation prompts you with an grid containing the debit, credit, balance..
    Once you click on any of the balances you will see an ALV grid which can be customized according to your requirement.
    <u><b>ISSUE:</b></u>  I want a particular field called the offset account in the layout but it doesnt appear in the hidden fields list. Although i can see the same field in another server located in Delhi. I dont know whats the issue here but im not able to see it at all and dont know from where do i get it. The offset account is the field GKONT in the table ANLE..
    I want to get the offset account into the hidden fields.. Please help me out guys..

    I am facing a weird problem .When I try to add my custom fields(Requestor Price/Currency) to the end of Item Basic data screen(Similar to fields "Price/Currency),by enhancing the web dynpro component,then all the fields above the custom fields are shifted 1 place down in the layout(Right Container).I have no clue why it is not happening?could anybody pls help me in solving this issue

    Thanks for your reply.My requirement is to add the custom fields similar to the Price/Curreny field in the Currency,values and Pricing section of Item basic data in Shopping cart.Whenever I try to add an ui element(say a label with ui element of matrix head data) to the RIGHT_CONTAINER in the layout page,all the elements in the container are getting changed.Is deleting the RIGHT containe and creating again is the only solution because it is quite a tough job to recreate again(with so many fields and ofcourse I should be careful).It is working fine in my sandpit system but not in my dev system(SRM version with latest patch ).This issue is really driving me crazy.Could you please help on this.

  • Replicate data on subsequent page with Fixed Number of Fields in the Layout

    Here is a tricky one. I have a Report that is generating a sort of Master Detail Report. This report prints on a Pre-printed form.
    1. 1/3 of the Page is dedicated to logos and Company information.
    2. Second 1/3 part of the page is dedicated to the Customer information (Name, Address, Phone/Fax details)
    3. Final 1/3 part of the page is the detail which can accommodate up to 4 rows. In this section, there are individual fields for the 4 Lines. The goal is to show up to 4 records in the Detail and if there are more records being fetched in the cursor (More than 4), then I need to print the Header section again since its the same Customer and the Detailed records start from Record Number 9 and then 17 and so on.
    I am populating the Header and the Detail records in a Formula Column and not in the Main Query. The Main Query is pretty simple, it just gets all Customers based on a Zip Code. This is why, there is only one Repeating Group and all the items (Master record) and the Detailed Records (Which are basically individual fields placed one below the other) are part of the same Repeating Group. They are being populated in a Formula Column and not a Query.
    Having said this, is this a very cumbersome way to take this approach? The Report already exists in this state and I need to make some modifications and this feature I am talking about would be a big leap.

    I have changed the Report and it has become simpler and more manageable. What I now have are two separate Queries. The Main Query gets all the Customer Information based on Zip Codes and lists all the Personal Information in the middle section (The top section is left blank for the Pre-Printed form). There is now another Query which is linked to the Main Query based on Customer ID. The second Query is retrieving Multiple Records.
    Q_1 = Main Query getting Customer's Personal Information
    Q_2 = Detail Query getting all the Invoices for the Customer with different dates
    Now, is there a way to say that if Number of Records > 5 (Invoice Detail Repeating Group), print the details on the following Page? However when I am doing this, I also want the entire Header section to be replicated on the following Page.
    Example: Customer ID 1001 (David Taylor) has 10 Invoices that need to be displayed. My output should be like below

    Trans Name:CJI3(Display Project Actual Cost Line Item)
    ECC 6.0
    CJI3->F8->ALV GRID REPORT->Dbl clik on a rec with PERNR value->List O/P seen
    List O/P contains certains details corresponding to that PERNR.
    I need to add a field(Name of PERNR) to this layout.
    CJI3->F8->ALV GRID REPORT gets displayed->Dbl clik on any rec in the grid which has a PERNR value->Takes you to a List O/P.
    Now that a field has to be added to this list o/p.
    Is there an exit or BADI availble to do this?

    Go to transaction SMOD. Click utilities->find.
    Example : Give exit name as SAP* and short text as mast to find master exits.

    We need to amend our custom integrator's layout by removing a field from the layout.
    However, in Desktop Integration - "Define Layout" - we do not have any option to delete a field (options are - Move Up/down, Read only, width,Frozen pane)
    (Making width - 0 is not solving the purpose since only the field is not visible in layout but mappings remain as is)
    Is there any option to remove a single field from integrator layout?

    I got a requirement where in which ,default layout has the field name Time.......To......... which is (2 input box ) and one lable assigned to the container.........
    Now my requirement is to hide this field from the layout for all cases of leave......(all types of leave)....

    Create In context => Value attribute => Say Visibility
    Go to its properties
    Select com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Visibility
    In View Layout
    Select UI Element Set Visible property to this context variable Visibility.
    In wdDoModifyView() You can set this property to false
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setVisibility(false);
    Can you people tell me where to create the value attribute........
    In the view context or in the component context...........
    and field that am talking about is assign to the container you want me to assign this context variable property to all ......Like to input box ,label and the container..........

    As per your guidelines I have created the value attribute in View context (which has the field..... which needs to be hide)inside the value node say FieldVisibility.......and attribute name OldTimeDuration......and I set this value with uidefeneitions Visibility .......
    and I bind this vaule with the field property visible(Time.......To..........)which I need to hide...........
    Now in the view implementation tab ..........I have coded in the doinit method(since my requirement to hide the field from the layout in all cases).........
    wdContext.currentFieldVisibilityElement().setOldTimeDuration(WDVisibility.NONE);
    But if I deploy the application and see still am getting the same field dispalying in the screen.........
    I even tried putting this code in wdmodifyview method.........same results........
    Kindly tell me how to hide the field permenantly from the screen............(without any conditions.)

    there is a field: VERZN  --> Days in Arrears by Net Due Date that I would like to add in my layout.
    I check by the standard way using the "change layout" but the field doesnt appear.

    This is indeed possible with a few changes to the structures used. The structure UDM_S_WORKLIST_ITEM_ATTR_C will need to have the customer include (CI_WORKLIST_ITEM_ATTR) implemented to add any new fields to the worklist.
    Similarily the table UDM_WL_ITEM needs to have the customer include (CI_WORKLIST_ITEM) implemented with the same fields.
    Once this is completed the BAdI UDM_WL_ITEM_DISP_C will need to be implemented to fill the data in the new fields added.
    Once you have done that it should be able to be shown within the worklist.

  • LiveCycle says mixed when fields have the same Y coordinate

    After using the Layout menu align option to align the top of two fields, I again selected the fields. The Layout panel showed that their Y coordinate was mixed, even though they showed the same value when each field was selected individually. I modified the Y coordinate of both fields individually and changed them back. When I selected both fields again, the Y coordinate showed as the correct number.
    Apparently, using the Layout menu to align fields doesn't reset whatever it has to reset in order to show that multiple fields have the same Y coordinate.
    The most annoying part of this is that it affects tab order. A field which has the same Y coordinate may be looked at as lower on the page.
    I'm using Adobe LCD 7.0.1 on a Dell Optiplex GX620 running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2.

    This is a bug in Windows 7 (maybe 8 and Server as well). One of my customers are sometimes affected by this. I have not a perfect solution but I've arranged so that the IT responsible person on that company can access the server where
    the files reside through RDP (Remote Desktop). Already open is there Shared Folders->Open Files. This gives the IT responsible person means to force closing of an already saved file that for some (bug) reason stays in the cache (MS loves cache but never
    updates them) and falsely claims the file is open.
    Please try! Shared Folders are reached by right-clicking Computer and select Manage.

    LVC_S_FCAT-COL_POS = Position of column
    LVC_S_FCAT-NO_OUT = 'X' = not visible
