You can try it with this examples, but there is another easy way. Please do not forget that you need at least the DAQmx 9.0 driver.
1. Open the MAX and create a task for your linear position measurement with the PCIe-6321
2. There you can see all the connections you need and you can set all parameters fot the acquisition
3. Save the Task
4. Close MAX and open LabVIEW
5. In the block diagram go to Measurement I/O >> NI-DAQmx >> insert Task Const (DAQmx Task Name)
6. Right click on the task constant and choose >> Generate Code >> Configuration and Example
7. Run your VI and have fun

My positive experience with FCPX.

In an effort to present the other side of the coin on this forum, that FCPX can work very well, here is my story.
For the last 8 years I've been using Final Cut Express on an older Macs. It worked fine for my various projects, although the incessant rendering would be very frustrating. (I never did find the proper format to prevent it.) When Final Cut Pro X was released, I read about it's shortcomings, so I passed.
Five months ago I was planning to video my nephew's wedding so I looked closely at Final Cut Pro X, but was very daunted by how completely different it was from FCE. A few days later I was in my local Apple Store asking their video expert about the rendering in FCE, basically he said to get FCPX, which not only handles many formats, but renders in the background when needed, and has a lot more features than FCE.
I went home and looked at my first FCPX tutorial online and thought, OK, it looks like I'm going to have to start from scratch to learn it. My MacBook Pro was going on 6 years old, so I also decided to buy a new one that could handle FCPX. I had to stay on Snow Leopard OS 10.6.8 for one vitally important application that was not being upgraded, so I went to the Apple refurb site and found a 17" 2.2Ghz i7 late 2011 that fit the bill (I wanted the ExpressCard slot), marked down from $2600 to $1900, I grabbed it.
I immediately installed 16 GB of RAM, and replaced the internal drive with the one in my old laptop, a fairly new Seagate XT Hybrid 750 GB/16 GB HD/SSD. I then bought FCPX. (After completing one small project, I actually replaced the 750 hybrid with an OWC 960 GB dual platter RAID 0 internal SSD, wow, is it fast. I work my current project there, then when complete, move it to the 750 hybrid or a 3 TB I put in a Seagate GoFlex Thunderbolt adapter .)
I have to admit that it took me a couple of days to let go of FCE and get used to the FCPX Events/Projects system, but I got through it. I did look at tutorials, but actually learned far more by exploring the menus, panes and icons, experimenting, trial and error, and reading this forum.
I finished the wedding video (32 minutes long) in about a week (learning as I went). It was shot with one camera, which forced me to do some creative editing by lifting, moving and zooming various pieces (and cutting around a very oblivious professional photographer), which gave me a multi-camera look. I added a title, transitions, adjusted dark scenes, leveled the audio in many places, diminished airplane and wind noise, and dropped in a sound effect of my nephew breaking a glass under foot (which did not actually break at the time).
I shared the wedding video to my AppleTV2, and to DVD (3 copies), and to YouTube, without any overt problems. Yes, each operation had it's learning curve, but I accomplished them all in a rather short time. The first time I uploaded it to YouTube, it took about 8 hours for a 1080 2.8 GB version, but when it was done, the YouTube site had a message that it was too long, I had to register to have longer than 15 minute videos. I then used FCPX to upload a 720 version (the actual original format), 985MB, which took about 2 hours (even with a 1 mbps upload internet service). It looks great via the YouTube app on my AppleTV2.
The only overt problem I have is a crash once in awhile either at launch or very shortly after, but I delete the prefs and continue on. I also installed some free plugins that seemed to cause some crashing, so I removed them, but the next time I opened the wedding project, I had all kinds of warning triangles. Turned out I used some of the plugins and FCPX warned that they were missing. It took a few minutes of searching this forum to learn how to get rid of those effects, I didn't even have to ask anyone.
I just bought two new 1080p AVCHD video cameras and really look forward to using them for a festival on Sunday where I'm playing with a ukulele orchestra (which I also took up a few months ago). I'm going to tackle the multicam operations with that project (something I did in my own way with FCE, even though it did not actually have that function).
My view of many of the posts on this forum is that either they have a system/hardware problem outside of FCPX, or they do not make enough of an effort to learn and understand FCPX. It takes diligence and patience, which in my experience, really does pay off. I used to dread doing tweaks in FCE, now I look forward to it in FCPX.

I'd just like to add my positive-ness with FCPX! I've used it from 10.0.1 and, since 0.3, I have loved it and raved about it when anyone asks. The multicam feature is amazing! I used to use Vegas MS for some casual editing and the biggest annoyance with FCPX at the start was the magnetic timeline but after a day or so I got used to it and now can't imagine using anything else. I've had the odd crash but they are few and far between. I won't say I haven't sworn at it a few times but the fault is usually mine in the end!
I use an upgraded 2012 MacBook Pro with 16GB memory and a Seagate Hybrid XT disc for my more "beefy" projects but I've found my 2011 MacBook Air works great with smaller projects (4GB RAM and 256GB SSD). Interesting article on fcp.co about MBAs and FCPX if anyone is considering purchasing one.
I tend to learn things as I go along; I know what I want to achieve and then work out how to get there, often with the help of the nice people in this forum . With FCPX, once you understand the basic structure it's not too difficult.
It seems one of the common themes is problems with importing AVCHD / MTS files. Since 0.3 I've never had any problems as long as I follow my basic rules -
Format the SD card in the camera just before use (use "low level" if offered for the first format) and shoot your footage. Use the same quality format on that card throughout the shoot.
Remove the card and plug it into the computer's card reader. Do NOT interfere with or modify the files in Finder in any way!
In FCPX create an archive from the card on a separate external disc. (If the card doesn't show up then try another card reader - there can be differences in USB chipset implementations).
Import to the events from the archive. Once done, repeat from 1.

Now, in the body pages : there is some pages in witch the content ca be organized in two parts (in each part I can have a report).
I know that I can not have a region within another region...
How can I manage this type of pages/regions.

Use 2 or more regions in Display Point Region Position 02, with different region templates as necessary to display titles, buttons etc.
e.g. Region with items at sequence 10; region with report at sequence 20, using region template Region without Title or No Region so it appears seamless with the first region.

In Firefox 3.6.4 and later the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings".

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select ''No Proxy''

Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION get_prkexx(saplckmo) in position 10 with RC

When we try to post good movements in MFBF, the system gives the error message C+099 which says "Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION get_prkexx(saplckmo) in position 10 with RC".
We have been implemented the sap notes which are shown below:

I was able to resolve these issues using the following steps in our sandbox/test environments. I have also included other problems I faced in material ledger month end closing steps for the benefit of readers.
**** Caution: Do not do the following steps in production environment. You will destroy your production data irretrievably. Material Ledger is unforgiving!!! ***
1. For the materials with "Internal Error in Form/Function etc issue, I performed a CKMM in the respective plants changing for 3S to 2S and then did the same in reverse (2S to 3S). Then ran the ML close. This seems to have temporarily solved the problem.
2. I was also getting a short dump -- either during MMPV or during period close in the cockpit. The message at both times was "Error in MLCCS ...". I realized it related to Cost Component Split. I identified the company codes of the materials that caused the errors, then got all the plants within each of these company codes. I ran MLCCS_RESET and then MLCCS_Startup in SE38. Then ran MMPV/ML Close. This seems to have resolved the issues at least temporarily.
3. Occasionally I noticed some "material valuation is inconsistent in valuation area xxxx" error. I executed steps 1 and 2 above in succession. This seems to have resolved the issue temporarily.
4. There was also the issue of "duplicate entry in CKMLKEV" while performing Single/Multi-Level steps in the closing cockpit. This pointed to MLCCS. So I ran step 2 above. Again this seems to have fixed the issue temporarily.
I was able to accomplish all of these using the steps above because these were in our test environments. The reasons as to why these happened are manifold:
MMPV was not carried out for a long, long, long time in certain plants within a company code. When ML is active, it is necessary to close previous period. In cases where MMPV was not carried out for a long time, I ran CKMHELP program to set the material status to 70 for the immediately preceding posting period. This helped run the ML cockpit for the current/previous periods.
Users were processing too many transactions with unrealistically large quantities and prices resulting in overflow errors. I carried out reversal of movements for each process category to reduce the inventory balances to reasonable quantities, and ran MR21 to set the prices correctly. This helped resolve the overflow issue.
Reckless, repeated running of CKMM and MLCCS_Reset/MLCCS_Startup also contributed to these problems. Every time a standard had to be released, but the material status in ML is "30-Quantities and Values entered", would prevent users from doing that. So they resort to CKMM and then reset status using CKMHELP program to set the status to 10 and then release the new cost. It works, but wreaks havoc on ML as a whole eventually.

The order settlement terminates with the error Message no. MLCCS 099 "Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION CKMLKEPH_ROLLUP in position 2 with RC 4".
The material ledger is active. The actual cost component split is active. I want to carry out the order settlement for one plants.
With the same production material no.in the plant. There are many other productin order are settled in thid period. But, only one production order got the error message, why?
I knew that I could change the Price determ. (in material master) from 3 Single-/multi-level to 2 Activity-related, then I can continute settlement transaction in CO88. But , I want to know what's wrong this the order. What should I check about the order. Why other orders are settled without error with the same material no, and plant.
I had check about SAP note 711416 & 729901 & 523100 & 623701 & 653523, those can't slove my problem in CO88.

But, I have two production orders product the same material in the same plant and will be settled in this period. Both of those two orders were consumed material in 3 months ago. But, only one of them were terminated with error message in CO88. Why? How can I find out the difference between those two orders? They seems the same.
For SAP note 623701 & 871926 & 867755, I think we already implemented those. I had found program "MLCCS_KO88_TREATMENT " in SE38. And, I can find the message 013 & 015 in message class MLCCS. So, do you have other commendations?

HI Everyone,
I have mentioned error (Internal error in LMLCCS_UPDATEF02 LCL_DB method get_normvector position A with RC 1) only when I try to process IB GR in transaction VL31N.
This problem does not occur in other Material related transaction.
The Plan that we have problem was created many years ago and also ML was activated at that time.
We did not any changes to ML settings since.
I had revived followings notes:
639675 - Initialization of the actual cost component split
710808 - Activating actual cost comp split: check actual costing
584904 - MIRO: no procurement alternative/wrong price diff in ML
Seems like first one fit our problem the best, but in our cases we do not activated component split after the material ledger production startup and also we do not have such problem besides VL31N. In addition using above solution, even try, would lead to lost of historical data which we would like to avoid.
Does anyone faced similar issue and have an idea how to deal with this?

Hi Tony,
The error during the order settlement is produced because in earlier
periods the cost component split for standard price is missing
for the materials involved in the order that you are trying to settle
with KO88.
Please, change the settings in report MLCCS_KO88_TREATMENT to treatment
option "S" for this order as explained in the note 623701.
You need to delete the existing entry settings in program
MLCCS_KO88_TREATMENT first.
Afterwards, it should be possible to maintain the new settings for
period ?/2011 (treatment type 'Split Delta by S price').
Therefore, the steps should be:
1. Delete the existing entry in program MLCCS_KO88_TREATMENT
   (-> processing type: delete settings), for the company code
   and period X/XXXX.
2. Maintain option = 'Split Delta according to Standard Price,'
   with report MLCCS_KO88_TREATMENT for the orders that are causing
   the problem and period X/2011.

Positioning image with DIV

I have a row with 3 columns. I want the two outsid columns to
contain images that but up against an image to the left and right
respectively. Problem is that Im getting a gap or border between
the image in outside columns and the image (outside of that it
should be butted up against). Long story short Im trying to figure
out how to use css to position them with -1 margins. I remember
seeing something about this but done know the details. Is this a
feasible route to take or is there a better one?

Ive decided not to use the corner graphics. But that leaves
two other questions. On the page notice the border to the right of
the gradient graphic? That is not supposed to be there and I can't

How to display positive value with a trailing plus sign

I want to display positive value with a trailing plus sign and negative value with a trailing minus sign. How can I do it? Is there any character in custom format for this? I don't want to convert number to text and use case statement because I need two decimal places and thousands separator.

Okay, try this...
You will need to do a "UNION ALL" of three queries, one for positive values, one for zero values, and one for negative values.
In the "negative values" query, do the following:
1) Add a filter on the measure for values "less than 0"
(This will ensure all values are negative.)
2) In the Data Format tab, select "Custom" and type in #,##0.00-
(This will add the trailing negative sign.)
3) In the Edit Formula tab, add the absolute value function, ABS(insert measure here)
(This will take get rid of the default leading negative sign.)
For the "positive values" query, modify the above as follows:
1) Change the filter to "greater than 0"
2) In the Data format, change the custom format to #,##0.00+
Step 3 is not needed since all values are positive.
For the "zero values" query, just add a filter "equal to zero."

Position Measurement with PCIe-6321

Hi,
I have PCIe-6321 card and I want to use it for linear position measurement. I have an interpolation device that provides A and B channels that I`m going to put in the counter inputs of the card. Are there any examples of using the position information with LabView (Graphing the position, using it for control purposes etc.) There are some examples in the example library of LabView but in most of the, PCI6321 isn´t on the compatible cards list although most PCI62xx cards are. Can I still use these examples? Thank you in advance.
