Possibility to import colors from Indesign

Hi there! Since I am probably not the only one who does the first layouts and colors schemes in Indesign before even starting the design in Muse:
It would be amazing to have the possibility to import the colors already set in Indesign directly into Muse.
Best,
bartl

Hello Kurt
I'm on SPO5. So I guess this error isnt linked only to SP03.
I have the issue with Indexer also. However I'm using the workaround suggested in this
[thread|Re: MDM Indexer Issue !]
After using the option Import Template, I did try publishing the publication in In-Design to see if the template has been applied, but it was not.
When i use Edit Template option, i'm able to edit a .indt file and save it. But whats the use of that when i'm unable to apply the template
I think anyone from SAP wil be able to answer our questions.
Regards
Swarna

  • Is it possible to import photos from a disk and retain the same order?

Is i possible to import photos from a disk and retain the same order they appear on the disk?  When I import them, the come out in random order.

When first imported the photos will be sorted in the Event chronologically. On the disk they well be sorted by the Finder and that's usually alphanumerically by file name. So select the photos in the event and type Commnad+N.  That will create a new album at the left with the photos in it. Then go to the View ➙ Sort Photo menu and select "By Title".  That should give you the same order as you view the photos on the disk via the Finder.

Is it possible to import slides from one Keynote presentation into another. If so how do I do it on iPad 2?

You do it sort of like the way you arrange your apps on the iPad and how you drag apps into groups. You do the same technic with your Keynote slides.

  • Is it possible to import songs from your ipod to itunes?

Somehow, my itunes got screwed up on my pc. So, I am missing about 100 songs. The songs are all on my ipod because I haven't synced them in a while. Is it possible to import the songs from my ipod into itunes? If so, how do I do it?
To make matters more complicated, my itunes now says that the ipod is synced to a different itunes, so if I sync them up, the songs on the ipod will be replaced by the songs on itunes (causing me to lose those 100 songs). Can anyone please help me?

If you're using iTunes 7, you can copy music that you purchased from the iTunes Store back to iTunes directly. You will have to prevent automatic synchronization. While connecting the iPod to the computer, hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys in Windows. This should stop the iPod from auto synching with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 25 seconds depending on your computer.
If you're not using iTunes 7 or want to copy other tracks, the easiest way will be to search VersionTracker for "iPod". You'll find a number of utilities that can transfer your tracks and your playlists from your iPod back to your PC.
It's also possible to do this manually, but the procedure is rather involved. If you're interested, though, see this thread:

Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Discussions page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums, in the User Tips Library and in the Apple Knowledge Base before you post a question.

  • Is it possible to import values from tables directly from an import packg.?

    Hi there.
I want to export my UCM configuration to another environment. I create a package and I add all the tables and schema views I need. I download the package and then is installed in the enviorement without errors. In the new environment the tables are created in database and the schema views are installed correctly.
But the table is empty and the values are not imported.
Is it possible to import table values from two environments with the package component or I should do it importing directly to SQL sentences?

    Hi ,
You can do this using the Archiver tool where in Tables can be added to archiver collection and be exported .Target ucm server can then use this export collection to import the values to the tables .
    1. Navigate to UCM - Administration - Admin Applets - Archiver
    2. Create new archive collection and highlight it .
    3. Under Export tab select Tables - add the required tables and update .
    4. Actions - export .
    5. Once export is finished then from the target server select this export collection and run Import .
Values for the tables would be populated with this method .
    Hope this helps .
    Thanks,
    Srinath

  • Is it possible to import tunes from your IPOD to your Mac?

I thought I had a good back up copy of my music & I was wrong. I had to restore my MBP to factory so now my music only resides on my Ipod. Is it possible to import it back into my Itunes library from the Ipod?

I suppose I could cut/paste the whole link since you don't seem to have read it, but the pertinent part of the link starts at this point.
"Switch the iPod to manual update and enable disk use
The first thing you need to do is make sure have configured your iPod to enable disk use. To do this:
Open iTunes on your old computer.
Connect your iPod to your old computer and wait for it to appear in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source pane under the Devices section to display your iPod preferences in the main library window.
Click the Summary tab in the main iTunes window.
Click the Manually manage music button. Changing from automatic updating to manual puts a check mark by Enable disk use. A message says"
Continue with the rest of the instructions after this point.
As a suggestion for future posts, it's always better to start your own topic rather than disrupting someone else's topic. It's more courteous to the original poster, & it can become very confusing to try to troubleshoot with several people in the same thread who may have similar but actually unrelated issues. Thanks!

  • Is it possible to import users from AD?

    Hi,
I am trying to configure AD authentication and have a question. Is it possible to import users into the repository using AD as the LDAP Server?
    Thanks

I assume, if I cannot import the users into the BI Server, then I would have to maintain the user - group name list in a table in a database. Is my this assumption correct? Not entirely. You need a way to read them so you can use an Init Block to initialize the GROUP variable so that OBIEE knows which groups your users belong to. There are a several of ways to do that, depending on which RDBMS you are using. Here is a possible solution if you use Oracle, reading them via PL/SQL: http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2007/10/12/oracle-bi-ee-101332-and-oid-user-and-group-phase-2/
This is a much better approach than importing your users since you will need to maintain your user list for ever if you manually create them in your RPD. It's far better to use LDAP authentication.
