Possibility to set default border to zero

Hi there,
I noticed that hardly any designer is using borders for the elements he is creating. Though in Muse the borders are set by default already, and we have to change it with every element we add, again and again. Especially all the states of all buttons and links which we have to correct each and every time. Wouldn't it be good to have the default set to "border: 0;" instead? It would probably not be a huge effort to the Muse developer team and I think it would spare us lots of effort.

are you using 7.0 or 3.x?
in 7.0 you can use the webcommands of the webTemplate.
Use Dataprovider commands and there is an option for assigning a default value.
To eliminate All Values, unchecked it for the dropdown box.

It should be possible to set default behavior for all file types

It should be possible to set a default action for all file types. I'm so tired of having to manually sit and say "save this file" because Firefail always defaults to "open with" and has disabled the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on."

I do want users to have full control to be able to set any folder view they want by using Apply to Folders; I just want to set the initial/default view to Detail because that matches what the majority of my users want.
That is, what registry setting changes when I go to a picture folder, change the view to Detail, and click Apply to Folders? Having done that, I still retain the ability to change it to some other view and apply that to folders. But what registry setting

This settings is simple via GUI, but it is related a lot of registry keys, I made a test in my machine, capture the "Apply to Folders" process using Regshot tool (this is a small tool which can compare the regsitry changes after you change some

What I am doing now is to parse the above json data and draw the table( like report) using mx:Grid component according to the parsed json metadata.Everything works fine except the left/right/top/bottom border color setting.
I have been learning flex for only three weeks. Maybe It does work using a datagrid component or .grid component.
Could you show me how to do it.

Is it possible to set default table attributes?

The default font in my tables is different than the default composition font I selected.
I know I can work around this by editing the table properties, then going to advanced settings, and specifying font attributes under the "inline styles" tab (every single time I create a table :\), but why should I have go through this when I have already declared my default font styles for all compositions?
Can't figure out a way around this :( It's making me reconsider using Thunderbid altogether (as much as I love Thunderbird - I need an easy way to send simple clean tables.)

Confirm you are not pasting anything into the table cell; you are actually typing the text in the cell.
In my version the default settings are being used in the table.
This is what i'm using:
Tools > Options > Display > formatting tab
Default font: Times new roman
Tools > Options > Composition > General tab
HTML: Font: variable width
So can you try these settings - set the font you wish to use in Display, so it is used generically and set Composition font to variable width.
then retest and post results.

Possible to Set Default Termination on NI-XNET Device?

Is there a way to change termination for an interface to be enabled by default? I would prefer to change this once for the device rather than having to add the property node for every VI that creates a NI-XNET session.

Is it possible to set default column widths in list view when using a finder window in Mavericks?

The default 'document' column is way too wide and forces you eye to track all the way across the screen to read info like "date modified', 'kind' or 'size'.
Tried several times to create a narrower default 'document name' column with no results. Couldn't find anything in preferences or view options. Tried dragging column headers while holding the down the option key with no results.
Every time I open a new finder window, all columns except the 'document' column affixed to the right side of the window. Also, when you grab the bottom right corner of a window to resize smaller, the lists become re-affixed to the right side of the window when opening the window back up.
Experiencing the same problem in Mavericks 10.9.3 on an iMac and Macbook Pro Retina.

I took profdant139's suggestions a bit further as my real goal was to have the "Document column" narrower. The goal to be able to see all the other document info that was usually hidden way out to the right
To achieve my results I right clicked in the upper bar with the column names and chose from the drop down box "comments" column (as suggested). I then dragged it to the far right. This pushed all the other columns over.
In the end of the day I ended up adding "Size" and "Date modified" columns as well to get my desired results.
Remember one can move different columns around to be in the order you need by clicking on the column to get it active and then left click and drag it to where you want
Another great thing is that by default (Using Mavericks) the date modified, opened,created columns have date and time. One can shrink them down to xx/xx/xx format by manually adjusting the column width like one does in Excel - click on column separator up top and drag
Once all that is done, at least on my box, I closed it out and opened up a new finder window and everything was as I wanted.

Process open items: how to set defaults for the additional selections

Hi FI experts,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set defaults for the additional selections in the processing of open items.
I am using transaction F-04 (or F-06 or F-07) to post with clearing.
When processing the open items I can use additional selection parameters. In my case I need to use the document type. I would like to save this selection as a default but this doesn't seem to be possible.
1. it is not possible to save a variant for the processing of open items
2. I can not create a variant transaction (with trx. SHD0) for F-0x since this is only possible for dialog transactions
Do you see another way to store defaults for the additional selections in open item processing?

Hi,
When you create a transaction variant from FB05, then also you will not able to default the value for additional selections variable. Hence SHD0 is not going to help.
As said above, either you can change the additional selection screen parameters, but here again you can't default the value. You can only reduce the number of entries on the screen.
Else you can create a custom transaction code by copying the standard. Even SAP recommends to create custom codes from standard tcode for clearing purposes depending on requirements.

I created one request with logo in the header an page in the footer etc. and called StyleSheet. After you can import this formats by each request.
You can do this in compound layout.

Yes, you can do this. Edit your entity object attribute, and in the Edit Attribute dialog select "Derived from SQL Expression". Then you can enter your expression in the Expression text box.

How to set default SQL Native Client in SAP BO?

is there any possibility to set default SQL Native Client? We must have two SQL NC installed unfortunately, 2005 and 2008. Issue is, that SAP BO chooses the 2008 by default and user must manually switch to 2005 to see pre-defined instances. Is there any way how to select SQL NC 2005 as default? Many thanks

Try this procedures.
1. Dont open your SBO program.
2. Goto C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\Conf\ folder
3. Delete file b1-local-machine.xml
4. Log to SBO program.
5. Apply all necessary authentication then select SQL_2008 then log.
6. After logging exit to SBO program.
7. Re-log again if SQL_2008 is already in default.

Could you please share any idea how it is possible to set default Interaction Record result? By default it is blank and user needs to select the value from the list on the IR page, but it is not convinient. Unfortunately I can't find the way how to do that.

I suppose you're talking about the "Goal" field of the Interaction Record?
This can be done quite easily, first you need to know the transaction type of the interaction record you use. (the SAP standard transaction type for interaction record is '0010')
In SPRO>CRM>Transaction-->Define Transaction Types.
Look for your transaction type for IR (SAP std 0010) and select it, then select 'Assignment of business transaction categories' and select 'BUS2000126 Business Activity'. Then select 'Customizing header' and there you can default the header values including the default value for 'Goal'.

Is it possible to set default to "classic style" control/indicator so that when I create a control/indicator from the block diagram, I will have a classic style control/indicator on the front panel?
Somehow, I still like the classic style control/indicator more. Many times, after I create a control/indicator from the block diagram, I have to replace the new style control/indicator with a classic style control/indicator from the front panel. It can be done, but it would be nice if I can create what I want from the block diagram directly.

Well, to manually place a classic control, you would just go to the classic palette, no settings needed.
Have you read the detailed help for this option? Maybe it's not exactly what you think it is.
