when i call from skype to mobile number, receiver sees me as unknown.
How can i change it to my name or phone number?

Caller ID is not one of those systems which can be guaranteed. Community Contributors WD9EWK/Patrick and Neil have detailed the vagaries of networks not transmitting caller ID data, and so on.

I recommend checking your prompts and alerts to turn this feature off. This may be you "Call Connect" or "Readout" alerts. Listed below are steps to update this feature.

At the moment it just appears as "Vector Smart Object" in Photoshop and I have to take another step and change the layer name.

Show a different view when called from different app.

Hi,
I have the requirement of showing a different view in the same window when called from different apps (urls).
I have created different start-up inbound plugs and assigned them to the different apps but I can't figure out how to code the view switch.
Any idea?

hi,
It is possible.
Click on the Properties tab of application.In that screen click on the seach help option against Interface view.It will show all views you have created. Select the desired view to which the application has to point.
Don't forget to give the plug name which is under that interface view
Now the application invokes the new view which u have pointed.

Nokia N95 not displaying callers name when call co...

Well I guess I'm having problems all around with my new phone
Anyways when I call somebody that I have in the contacts I don't get his/her name in the ballon, it only displays the number and not the name, same thing goes for incomming calls It just won't show the callers name and only shows the number for some reason, I tried re-adding the contacts, deleting them and writing them again but nothing works.
Is there anyone that can help me ?

First in contacts -options-settings check you are using only one memory phone! Not sim or sim and phone memory (several ) Next you need to check you don't have multiple entries, that is to say a number with more than one name attached to it, could be John, John Smith, Smithy, johnnie all with 1234567 as number, but in fact the same person, but the phone doesn't know this so only shows the number, you must use contacts from Phone memory and only have one contact attached to a number for caller id to work (it is fine to have several contact number attached to one contact, but not the other way round), this is a common problem and is always multiple entries, suggest checking your contacts in Ovi Suite is the easiest way to check !

How to specify realm name when calling weak( ) method on ServletAuthentication class?

I've created a bunch of custom realms and for a specific user logon (form based "uname" and "pword"), the system knows exactly which custom realm to look up against. However, in using ServletAuthentication class, one can only specify realm name in strong(req, res, realmName), not the weak() method. Any clue?

Is it possible to show clips as Red when offline?

Does anyone know if it is possible to show clips in the timeline as Red when they are offline? Much like the way Avid does.
I know that in the browser it marks the clips as being offline, but In a large complicated project with lots of Bins it's not practical to go through and look at every clip. And I find the online green and offline grayed out kind of green as difficult to notice at a glance on the timeline.
Is there a way to change it or have I just got to get used to it?

This may or may not help, depending on what you are wanting. Find the offline clip(s) in your Browser, select it/them, then press OptionCommand3 (on the top row of numbers). Assuming you have not changed your key combinations, this will change the offline clip names to red in your sequence. You can choose between 2-6 for different colors. The clips will still be white, but have the text highlighted in your chosen color.

Recently the VB activex components were upgraded to C# .NET.But some of the activex components referenced within the C# dlls had to be retained as is.
There were issues of the C# components not being launched since the Activex components cannot be Instantiated
in a Multi threaded Aparatment thread. Java as far as I know does not support single threaded apartments.
So we had to create a new thread in the C++ dll (which acts like the interface between Java and C#) and then
the components were launching properly.
Now the issue is that even when the forms are being called using ShowDialog, the modality is lost.
Does anybody know why this happens and a possible solution to the issue.

It seems like this issue is similar to this one
ShowDialog call of a windows form is not really modal when called from a java Application.
Since we could not test it directly, I would recommend you try to call it by specifying the owner for that form.

Called form crashes, when called with default option

Here is the problem statement.
My problem is regarding the called_form built-in function of Oracle forms.
I am calling call_form within a loop.
call_form('schdule_task');
In first iteration it opens the called form and when the user clicks on exit button it comes back to the calling form and starts next iteration.But in next iteration the called form comes up and crashes immediately, causing the application to crash.
The calling form does not get a chance to become visible because by default call_form executes with 'HIDE'(hide the calling form) option.
Now if I execute the above mentioned call_form statement with "NO_HIDE" option then the called form does not crash in any of the iteration and the loop runs fine till the end.

I have activated so my cell phone number is showed when making skype out calls.
I also want to activate a "skype in" number so people can call me on skype using a Swedish number.
If I activate "skype in", can I still make calls on "skype out" and that the reciever of the call sees my cell number? I don't want the "skype" in number to be showed.
I would like to know this before enabling "skype in". Thanks in advance!

Why does my ibook HD show a different name when accessing over network?

I am including the details below for some industrious soul to peruse. In a nutshell, I have renamed my old computers internal drive (no problem), but when I connect to it via network from my new computer it still comes up as the old HD name instead of the new name that I gave it.
Is this normal to have the name of the HD sitting on the desktop not be the same as the name seen when connecting over my LAN? Or am I seeing the beginnings of trouble? Permission repairs don't come up with anything, nor does Disk Utility.

After buying a new iMac, I decided to rename my ibook's drive from Macintosh HD to iBook HD-- so I wouldn't confuse myself when networkign the two together. Seems I have confused the computers, however. After renaming my ibook HD, when I connect to it over my network I see the following under My Network:
TBB iBook G4
TBB-ibook-G4
Thomas Bailey 2's iBook G4 (apparently this comes from an administrator account I temporarily created and then later deleted)
When I click on the first computer name, I get the Connect to Server dialog Box, where I put in my main admin user login info. I then get a shoice of volumes to mount, which shows my admin user name and the old name of the hard drive (Macintosh HD).

This could be one of those questions for things that only seem to happen on the TV. But is is possible to have a contact picture appear when I receive a sms from a contact who is already stored in my phone. I know you can do this when a call is received, but wondered if it can be done when they text.
