The page size there appears quite small and, after the initial novelty of turning the pages, it could become tiresome leafing through many images.
Why not use the new .Mac Web Gallery and link to it from your iWeb page?
http://gallery.mac.com/emily_parker#100388&bgcolor=black&view=mosaic&sel=0
...On that page at lower left the viewer can choose from four different display modes and the Slideshow mode displays in +full screen+. Here are details about .Mac Web Gallery:

Well,  this is the first time that I use the Adobe digital edition, but after I open an e-book, I found that the page always stays in the first page unless I fullscreen it. Can anybody help me out?

Sounds that you have some malware on your computer.
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I have a problem with the application iBooks when I read an Arabic book the pages are misarranged in all the Arabic books. You can try it yourself just load an Arabic book and try to read it you will not find the pages the same like the original book you will have to turn many pages forward and back to get the true arrangement of the original book. This problem is not found in stanza or kobo inspite of the fact that the iBooks look is better

You will just have to use other apps for Arabic.  You can ask Apple to fix this via
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/
I think Apple's iBookstore does not yet really support Arabic books.

  • Auto page turn with PDF on iPad

    Hello!
I have a PDF which on the Mac I have set to a transition and a auto flip of 4 seconds.
When I use it on Adobe Reader on the iPad the auto flip doesnt work.
Does anyone know how I can rectify this, as the client would like it to play without touching it?
    Thanks in advance.
    Grace

    Hi Gracie,
    Thanks for contacting us.
You can't do auto flip with latest version of Adobe Reader on iOS.
I would recommend trying "single page" view mode. This mode is actually very similar to the page turning on the Kindle application, so it may be close to what you want but not automatically , it can be perform manually. You can easily swipe from one page to the next . You can also use the "tap zone" on the right and left hand side of the page to tap to flip pages. You can choose "single page" by tapping once on the page content to pull down the toolbars. Tap again on the icon that looks like a newspaper page. From there, tap to select "Single Page".

  • Initiate a page turn once media has played.

I posted this question on the Acrobat forum but was advised to pose it on the scripts forum. So being new to Acrobat I have to say I am even less familiar with scripts.
I have a multimedia document which contains a video clip on some pages and audio clips on others.
I would like to initiate a page turn or page advance once the video or audio clip has finished playing. Is this possible without compiling first in PPT and Adobe presenter?
I am using Acrobat 9 pro on Windows XP platform.
    Many thanks

Did you ever figure this out? I would love to know.

  • Page turn class for AS3?

    Hi...
I´m looking for a class for making page turn (flip page) effect for Actionscript 3 .fla project. I have found a few quite nice ones but I can´t find a way to implement to my project.. most of them requires that pages of flipped book or magazine should be either separate externally loaded files or movieclips in local library...
In my case pages are keyframes in timeline of externally loaded swf. I have a next/previous page buttons, and when user clicks them, he/she moves in timeline of that loaded SWF. So I should find a way to make kind of page transition that triggers when user moves from keyframe to another.
    Any ideas?

Yep, what I thougt was that when user pushes the next page buttons, few things happens almost simultaniously
-a new bitmap copy of current spread appears on the top of current spread
-swf goes to next spread (next frame) behind bitmap copy
-some page turn animation will be applied to bitmap copy, it reveals next spread that lies behind
I just thougt it would be nice to find some class that creates something like that but I have almost given up...=)

  • Is it possible to have multiple search results page using one Search Enterprise Center site?

    Hi,
We're using SharePoint 2013 and I'm trying to modify the search results page for one site collection. By default, it uses the search results page from the parent site which is the search center being used by default for the web application. I need to make
sure that the site collection will only retrieve search results within the site collection (search everything has to be disabled). I found a way but I had to create another search center site to accomplish this, otherwise, it will affect the search center
site of all other site collections on the web app.
Now is it possible to have multiple search results page using one Search Enterprise Center site?

    Hi,
According to your description, you want to retrieve the search results within the site collection.
As a workaround, you can create a custom result source for the site collection and you will retrieve the search result within the site collection.
More information about how to create result source in SharePoint 2013, please refer to :

  • Why do I have to turn off and on my HP office jet 7500A every time I want to print a page?  I can print one and imediatly try to print a second and it says it cant be found on the network.

Since going up to Lion I am having problems with my HP Officejet 7500A printer.  It is on the network wirrelessly.  After every page I have to turn the printer off and back on again because my mac cant find the printer on the network.  The windows mechines here can still find it, but not my Mac Pro.  What is going on?
Obviously I have it set up right because I can print to it.  problem is my mac thinks it goes off line every time I tell it to print another document.
    Anyone know of a fix?
    Thanks!

Lion may have replaced files that partially made up your printer drivers. Either way, HP saw fit to make a new set of drivers specifically for 10.7 so you may want to use it simply to avoid any bugs tehy found.

I have been sent a .pages document and would like to extract the photos included in the document as jpegs (need to edit on photoshop and put back in), is this possible? can't figure out how to do it.

I'm going to answer my own question:
    Easy steps
Locate the document in the Finder.
    Control/Right-Click on its icon.
    Select Show Package Contents
All images and embedded objects appear in ‘Data’ folder

After updating to the latest IOS 8 on my ipad / iphone etc I do not have any documents on pages, keynotes etc. I have them on my iphone 5S and I can log in on my pc and see al the documents. I have icloud turned on and idrive.
If I start a new document in pages and then try to share this document with the top ring link in pages "share Link via iCloud" a screen notification tells me to "Set Up iCloud. Go to Settings and select iCloud. Sign in and turn on iCloud Drive for Page".
When I go to settings I see that I am signed in.
Please help as I need the documents back on my ipad.

Did you have iCloud photo stream turned on for photos?  If you did, then you can view your photos at iCloud.com.  If you can verify that they are all there, you can do the factory reset.  Once you turn on iCloud again after the reset, the photos won't be on the phone but they will still be in the photo stream which you can view on the device.  You should be able to copy the photos down to the computer from iCloud.  On an Apple Mac computer, iPhoto can view photo stream and you can download photos there too.
Personally, with syncing issues with iTunes, I prefer to use an app called PhotoSync (which is an app in the App Store, Mac App Store, and available from the developer's website for Windows PC's.  This App (once turned on for both devices) lets you send photos back and forth within wifi.

Every morning at 8:00 am there is a loud page-turning sound from my iPhone 5s.  I have no idea what is causing it and it can be quite startling earlhy in the morning if you are alone.  Any one have any idea what it could be?

If it goes off at 8am every morning, then you have probably set the alarm without realising it.
Check the alarm and turn it off.
