Possible Adapter???

Greetings! My CRT monitor that was connected to my G3 finally died so I thought, "Hmmm, time to get a better Apple display." So I did my homework, or so I thought, purchased a 17" Studio Display (M7649) LCD Flat Panel, and then purchased the older DVI to ADC adapter. My video card is a Radeon 9200 with both VGA and DVI connections. As I'm sure you already know, the connector on the monitor is too big to fit the video card and the adapter that I bought had the same connectors that I already have.
Now my question . . . Is there any way to connect this monitor to my B&W G3?

I have a couple of Apple's own brand DVI to ADC adapters and the design does seem to have changed fairly recently. In the older version the DVI connector, which plugs into the graphics card, is pretty chunky with plenty of excess plastic around the securing 'screws' on either side. In the newer version, the DVI connector is more stream lined with less excess plastic.
When you say the adapter has the same connections you already have, I assume the connector on the monitor cable is an ADC connector. This has extra pins for USB and power, hence won't fit into the DVI port on the graphics card. The DVI to ADC adapter provides you with a DVI connector which should fit into the DVI port on the graphics card. However, if the DVI port is too far over to one side, perhaps to accomodate the VGA and S-Video ports on the metal plate, a chunky DVI connector may not fit. If this is the case, I'm not sure whether you can buy a short DVI extension cable with more compact connectors.
Edit - there's also an ADC to DVI adapter, which allows you to connect a DVI monitor to an ADC port. I think you need the DVI to ADC adapter, which allows you to connect an ADC monitor to a DVI port. ADC to DVI adapters normally just consist of a cable. DVI to ADC adapters also include a power supply, in Apple's case in the white adapter 'brick', to power the monitor through the ADC cable.

Sender JDBC Adapter and Synchronous Interfaces

I have a Oracle/JDBC -> XI -> ECC/RFC scenario. The communication mode is Synchronous.
In the Oracle database I have a table with a "STATUS" field. When JDBC Adapter Sends the rows from this table to the Integration Engine, it updates the "STATUS" from "G" (GENERATED) to "R" (READ).
The response from the RFC contains for each row sent to RFC a "STATUS_from_RFC" field, that I would like to use to update Oracle STATUS field to "S" (SUCCESS) or "E" (ERROR).
Can the Sender JDBC Adapter use the response from the Synchronous RFC to update Oracle "STATUS" field itself ?
Or do I need a Receiver JDBC Adapter? In this case, I have to use asynchronous communication and BPM, ok ?

For the above response is possible

etc..
In general there can be a response if there is a request. In the case of File and JDBC there is no request message coming to the adapter, its the adapter which is actually requesting.
This is just an idea and my understanding.. might not be true If possible do try it and let everyone know I will also give it a try when time permits

The standard ESS package only provides steps to setup the original BSPs for the services of the Area Page Career and Job :

I want that this services call the EHP4 E-recruitment WDA applications.
SAP says that may be possible adapting the ESS role to include these applications.
What are the steps what I Sould do for include this service WD ABAP for the Area of Career and Job?

Force RGB Color Space over HDMI?

Does anyone know how to force RGB over HDMI on a Macbook Pro with Retina Display. This is driving me nuts, as I have two U2410's. One is connected via DVI (using the DVI thunerbolt adapter), whilst the other is connected via HDMI. The monitor connected via HDMI negotiates the YpBPr color space, whilst the DVI monitor uses RGB. This makes it impossible to get the two monitors to produce the same colour. I can set the monitor to RGB within the OSD, but that just produces a mismatch of green and purple colours - in other words, the signal coming from the mac is still YpBPr so obviously setting the monitor to RGB ruins the colours completely.
There must be some driver setting or something to force HDMI to output RGB instead of YpBPr. Through Googling, it seems this applies to pretty much any Mac with a HDMI port, hence it's got to be a software issue, that's why I chose this forum. I'm about to duck home (I'm at work) and grab one of my HDMI -> DVI cables to see if that provides a work-around.
What happened to Mac's being a professional device. Surely they can't claim superior colour management if something as fundamental as the monitor's color space can't be controlled.

I have given up trying to use a Mac with a Dell or Samsung or Viewsonic monitor. Just ordered and received a StarTech.com DP to miniDP cable and was disappointed to see only YpbPR being output to my 22" Dell monitor. This is on top of the general fuziness and inaccurate colors. I've tried all sorts of other cables and adapters, both Apple and 3rd party, and the plain sad fact is that none of them work properly.
I plug in an old Cinema Display or a new Apple LED display and it works perfectly, colors look great, type isn't fuzzy.
I boot into Windows 7 on the same Mac using Bootcamp and my Dell monitor works perfectly.
It's OSX's display drivers that just don't play nice with Dell or Samsung or Viewsonic monitors. There's no other explanation because every other combination has problems with OSX and non-Apple monitors.
I can get into the long description of every possible adapter and cable I've tried (as well as the terminal command to adjust font smoothing). If I want the type to look right and the colors to look right, I just have to use an Apple monitor, which is aggravating as I have plenty of larger monitors here at work that I'd rather use.
Brief summary:
Three different MBPs, one a Retina display. Four different monitors from 3 different manufacturers, each with various connection options (HDMI, VGA, DVI, DP). DP to miniDP cable, DVI cable with Apple DVI to mDP adapter, HDMI to DVI with mDP adapter, couple of other similiar combinations of cables and adapters.
Bottom line is that all the screwing around produces a low quality, poor color accurate picture when the MBPs connect to 3rd party monitors. Plugging in the MBP to an Apple monitor (as old as a 2006 era Cinema Display) using any combination of adapter or cable looks great. Plugging in Windows 7 machines, either a dedicated Dell laptop or the MBPs in Bootcamp mode, all monitors look great. Also note that in OSX, the signal recevied by the monitors is YpbPr, but the same laptop in Bootcamp Windows 7 outputs RGB.
Hence, my guess that OSX display drivers are wonky except when plugged into an Apple branded monitor.

Regarding Navigation Style in UWL

I am using EP7 and SP09 . In this version, UWL iView property Navigation style has only two value as None, Tab. Here I need one more value as icon. When I change Navigation style as icon, it should show icon instead of Tab(For Tasks, Alerts, Notification etc.). How can I achive it?.

This isn't a configurable option as far as I know, so your only alternative is to code your own version of UWL... or possibly adapt the current UWL code if you can find the DCs to import to NWDI.

Attempting to uninstall Elements 10 before installing Elements 11. Uninstall crashes - help.

Have made many attempts to uninstall Elements 10 but it crashes early in the process. Something about the specified path not found. Please help.

Are you using the uninstaller for PSE10 or on Windows Add/Remove programs via the control panel?

Hi, one of the great advantage not mencioned above about mixers is you can use the sends and returns of the mixer to route hardware effect processors, about to record the guitar and the vocal at the same time i´m not agree beacause your mics pic a mix of both in each of the two diferent tracks even if you use one mic for guitar and another for vocals. It is not the way to go. The most important to get good recordings from vocal and acoustic guitars is how good are your mic preamp and your mics. But a mixer is an essencial tool in a studio environement. Me too i records guitars both electric and acoustic, i havent yet a mixer, but i use a SSL XLOGIC Superannalogue channel and a Nueman U87 mic. The result are miles away from using software emulation amps. But the budget too, I don´t belive that the Tascam pre amp are enought good for recotding acoustic guitars and vocals. recording acoustic guitar and vocalsi t is one of the most difficult taske to achieve with satisfactory results. I think you must to learn more about studio recording mixing ect... before you buy anything, get your own budget and with your knowledge try to buy the best possible adapted to your own budget.

Is it possible to use a cable with two headphone jacks on either end and an electric guitar adapter to record in Garageband?

I got my Macbook Air (Mid 2013 model) last month and I want to record my acoustic-electric guitar on Garageband (which came with the Air).
I don't want to buy a guitar that has a USB. I have a cable with a 3.5 mm headphone jack on both ends like the one pictured here on this website http://www.bestdealaz.com/item.php?id=628 (i didn't buy it from this site though).
I connected a 6.3 mm guitar adapter (http://www.ebay.com/bhp/headphone-guitar-adapter) to this cable. Then I connected one end of the cable to my guitar and the other end to the Headphone/Microphone jack on the left side of the MBA.
I saw how other people were saying to go to System Preferences / Sound and then change audio output to audio input.
I can't do that. I tried.
Please help!

The FireWire cable is just for the FireWire ports on the display. The display will run without it.

Mini Display to VGA adapter stopped. The Mini Display to HDMI is still working fine. How´s that possible?

The mini display to VGA adapter had stopped, whinle the Mini Display to HDMI keeps working fine. The minid display to VGA adapter was replaced and the VGA cable as well, and the problem is the same. This test was made with two diferent monitors with VGA entries. How´s that possible to happen? Is that a configuration trouble in the MBP?

The Apple´s customer support gave us the solution for this problem:
SMC reset
PRAM reset
The VGA adapter return to work properly aflter this procedure.

Is it possible to use old Apple Flat Panel Display (62 watt power adapter) with a MacBookPro 13" Mid-2012 laptop? Would like to use larger screen when working at home. I have a mini display port to VGA cable and have tried to hook up the old display but it seems not to work. When I try to activate the screen on the old display-- a window comes up in the MacBookPro and asks me if I want to shut down the computer. What little I have read it that the MacBookPro had Thunderbolt and the old display may not be compatible? Any assistance would be appreciated.

This doesn't have anything to do with your problem, but it will likely cause other issues with your e-mail.
Here's my standard recommendation concerting the use of A-V software to deal with potentially infected messages:
Never use ClamXav (or any other A-V software) to move (quarantine) or delete e-mail. Read the message and if you agree that it is junk/spam/phishing then use the e-mail client's delete button to delete it (this is especially important when the word "Heuristics" appears in the infection name).
If you disagree and choose to retain the message, return to ClamXav and choose "Exclude From Future Scans" from the pop-up menu.
If this is a g-mail account and those messages continue to show up after you have deleted them in the above manner, you may need to log in to webmail using your browser, go to the "All Mail" folder, find the message(s) and use the delete button there to permanently delete them from the server.
To fix the corrupted mailbox index(es), highlight each one that was corrupted and choose Rebuild from the appropriate menu.

No, its not possible because the graphic card is a little small chip which was fixed on the mainboard. The graphic card design is not the same like on the PC desktop.
