Possible bug when using Key Command

Greetings,
Can someone confirm this behavior in Logic 9? When I'm editing a plugin and hit my key command to go to a location, enter the measure # and hit enter - all **** breaks loose. It's as though I'm scrolling through a bunch of screensets and the enter location window still stays on top.
Am I the only experiencing this? Misery sure does love company.

First my organize has Exchange on 2 site like
site A (internet facing) : 2CAS 2 MB all are Services pack1
site B (DR Site , no user active on this site) : 2CAS 2MB all are Services pack 1
so today I upgrade Exchange 2013 from SP1 to CU5 start on "site B" and I found this issue and the details is....
When I open EMS on any CU5 for query something (like get-mailboxdatabasecopystatus) the response return very slow and some query will not return at all (like get-owavirtualdirectory).
But If I using EMS on SP1. Everything is ok then I try to use EMS on SP1 connect to CU5 and try to query something. the result is
some query command cannot return for any result that are server on siteB (just some query command)
Problem
EMS on CU5 return very slow result.
EMS on SP1 still ok.
Does anyone face this problem before for CU5??? Please help me figure this out. Thank you

Have you used the above cmdlets to check your Exchange server health?
"all other command that I ran on EMS didn't logged on event viewer.", my environment is the same with you. I use Exchange 2013, only errors will be displayed in MSExchange Management. Actually, it is not related to slow EMS response.

I had saved one copy as an .asp but then resaved it to .xhtml
I'm assuming this is a static web site. Rename (F2) all your pages with .html or .htm extension.
.xhtml is not a valid extension.

Compositing aliasing When using Key light

Good morning all,
My office has been having and issue when we composite green screen footage in AE using keylight. We are all on the new Mac Pros, running Yosemite 10.9.5 or newer and the latest version of CC. We generally work with footage shot on a Sony EX 3 at 1080/23.97p, (Though I have run into this issue on multiple systems with various types of footage ranging from the a-fore mentioned to 4K from the red.) It has happened when we round trip out of Avid MC as well as when we bridge footage out of Premiere Pro.
What is happening is, when we key something, or if we add a layer for jelly bugs or lower thirds graphics, a gray bar will show up for a frame, generally, across the top third of the screen spanning the entire width and approximately 20 pixels high. Has ANYONE else run into this? What causes it and how do we fix it so that it never happens again.
I am assuming there is something in our process that is causing it since I have been able to replicate it on systems from Orlando to Michigan and all 3 of our systems in my office. Any information would be most helpful.

Transcode the footage to be keyed to an intermediate codec before you use Keylight. Don't use the footage straight out of the camera. And purge your caches frequently.
I presume you're w4ell aware that the first step to a good key is good lighting, and that you have it.

A possible bug in RMAN CATALOG command in 10g on Linux (SLES9 SP3)

I ran into this issue while using RMAN command "CATALOG DATAFILECOPY <filename> TAG <tagname>". In this instance, RMAN is actually trying to write 8K data at block 1. Since a copy is being cataloged, it doen't make any sense to modify it. Please note that this modification doesn't happen without TAG option. This behavious doesn't seem to be present on Oracle 9 on Solaris 8. For more details, please check the following thread:

Unfortunately this is a bug, bug 3612370 in fact. I've published the bug so that it can be tracked via metalink if you have a support contract.
The bug is as you suspected with JDev's parse of the modules. We don't have a workaround at the moment but I'll post here again if we make any progress.

Bug when using IBOT

Hi all,
has anyone had this kind of error?
I am using IBOT, and I set Schedule_ to Start Date=21/09/2009, Time of Day=08:00, Set Time Zone=GMT+01:01, and Recurrence_ to Every 1 week(s) on MON.
When I look overview of this IBOT, everything is fine, but when I go Show IBOTs acting on my behalf Next Run is not date that I had set. And IBOT is not running in time that he should. But when I set Recurrence_ Daily Every 7 day(s) every thing is OK. IBOT is running and Next Run shows correct date and time.

This looks the same as bug 5539348 "Schedule an iBot to run immediately and weekly, the immediate run doesn't take place". According to that bug when you say start immediately and run every 1 week you are actually saying start the schedule now not start the ibot?! So a schedule is created in the scheduler to run your ibot every week on Mon but it does not run it immediately.
I think this is a bug with the weekly schedule though as setting it to 7 days seems to fix it. The bug database seems in infer that later releases of 10g fixed this problem so it might be worth upgrading to a newer patch release if it becomes a problem and seeing if this fixes it.

Strange UI bug when using People view/face recognition

I've started playing with the face recognition in LR6/CC and have encountered an odd display bug when viewing the groups of 'named people':
The thumbnail for each named person includes a count of how many images (or perhaps that should be faces) are attributed to their specific name. However, once the number of images for a person exceeds 100, LR only displays the first two digits in the thumbnail and drops off the third one, e.g. 254 is displayed as 25. If you hover over the thumbnail, the full count (e.g. 254) is displayed so long as the mouse cursor is kept on the thumbnail. Interestingly, once the number of images attributed to a named person exceeds 1000, it does the same thing, only it adds an extra digit (so 1400 becomes 140).
I'm running this on Win7.
Anyone else seeing this?

Error when using "say" command

Hi guys,
VERY new here, but as i signed up i wanted to ask a quick question.
When using the say command in terminal today i noticed an error pop up in the two following lines saying;
MTBEAudioUnitSoundOutput::PropagateProperty Error -10851
MTBEAudioUnitSoundOutput::PropagateProperty Error -10851
The sound still played for the command, but i wondered if this error was important or something needed to be done.
I have tried looking elsewhere online to find an ansswer but can't find any information.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you using the stock voices, or something else? In general, I'd keep to the stock voices with say.
As a test, see if the following works:

I am getting an error when I run the below load java command on a 9.2.0.8 database on Sun/Solaris platform.
Command:
loadjava -user user/[email protected]:1529:OLS2 -thin -force -resolve -verbose filename.jar
Error:
/olcdbt/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.8/bin/loadjava: /olcdbt/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.8/jdk/jre/bin/jre: not found
When I tried creating a new Jre soft link from $ORACLE_HOME/bin like : 'ln -s $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/bin/java $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/bin/jre' its giving a new error:
jre was not found in /olcdbt/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.8/jdk/jre/bin/../bin/sparc/native_threads/jre
Strange thing here is that this was working fine in 9206 home and after upgrading to 9208 1 month back I am facing this issue. I am sure I am missing something here but not sure what.. Please help me resolve this issue.

Even though the problem manifests when using loadjava, it has noting to do with the embedded Java VM in the database; it's rather an install /upgrade problem.

Using key commands while editing text...?

I love key commands. They help get things done sooo much faster...UNLESS I'm in the middle of editing text with the type tool and I want to, say, change to the arrow/selection tool. I can't just hit "A" or "V", since it will just add this to my text.
To all you folks out there who are like me and love key commands, isn't there some way to get around this? Either a key command that can be used while editing text, or a key command for "exit type mode"?
I'd welcome any thoughts on the subject. Thanks!

I did try to add a Control modifier, but it seems that tool shortcuts don't allow you to use Control or Alt or function keys.

Potential bug when using Parsley 2.4.1 and Cairngorm's module 0.17 in Flex 4.5.1

I have an issue when using cairngorm's ModuleViewLoader along with ParsleyModuleDescriptor to load a simple module consistig mainly of HBoxes, VBoxes and Datagrids.
The module consists of one child (let's call it ViewA) and that child consists of several children as its components.
When I use cairngorm's ModuleViewLoader along with the ParsleyModuleDescriptor and Parlsey to inject the modulemanager in my main app, the module loads, as well as ViewA but some nearly all of ViewA's children are not loaded (in fact they're initialized but creationComplete is not invoked).
When I use Flex's mx:ModuleLoader all ViewA's chikldren are initialized and creation complete is also invoked.
I will attach the source as a zip file later on....

Did you ever find an answer to this? I am running into the same issue with needing to upgrade parsley to 2.4.x, but with parts of application heavily relying on cairngorm module, upgrading it from module-0.11 to 0.17 seems to break compile!

Data refresh bug when using inheritance?

I am getting unexpected behaviour when using the pm.refresh(Object) method.
Refresh works correctly and reloads data if the lock has been updated on
tables/objects with no inheritance. However, if I try to use refresh on an
object that is part of an inheritance hierarchy, the query that is executed
to get the jdolockx value is missing the table join.
Example:
Table Entity
id
displayname
jdolockx
jdoclassx
Table Individual (inherits from Entity)
id
firstName
lastName
jdolockx
Query executed when calling refresh and passing in Individual
SELECT
t0.JDOLOCKX
FROM
ENTITY t0,
INDIVIDUAL t1
WHERE
t1.ID = 1151
Problem
Missing crucial join t1.ID = t0.ID
These classes work correctly with correct SQL when inserting/selecting.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Possible Bug When Binding Data to ContentPresenter ToolTip Attribute

Hello everyone,
I'm developing a small application using WPF. I have a custom ListBox control which contains a number of CheckBox entries paired up with a ContentPresenter object which displays some text obtained from a custom generic object.
If I bind the ContentPresenter 'Content' node to one of the properties of my class, it will display the text I want correctly. However, I cannot do the same with its 'ToolTip' attribute.
Here's an excerpt of my XAML.

This line works absolutely fine like this,

However, this doesn't work
<ContentPresenter Content="{Binding Element.TypeString, Mode=OneTime}" ToolTip={Binding Element.TypeString} Margin="2,0" />
Note I'm using the exact same pattern here, only that I'm applying it to the ToolTip attribute instead of Content. This doesn't work. It compiles, no exceptions, but no tooltip is displayed.
However, if I bind the ToolTip attribute of the CheckBox node or the parent WrapPanel node in the exact same way, it
does work. This works,
<WrapPanel ToolTip="{Binding Element.TypeString}">
And this works too,
<CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding IsSelected}" ToolTip="{Binding Element.TypeString}" VerticalAlignment="Center" />
I've searched the documentation and nowhere does it say I should expect ContentPresenter's 'ToolTip' attribute to behave differently than with any other XAML component.
This has led me to believe this is a bug in the WPF runtime. If, on the other hand, I'm missing something here, please, do let me know.

Your problem is because you're putting a tooltip on a contentpresenter - which isn't going to respond to mouse over unless you get your mouse over it just so.
You can easily reproduce that if you throw a little markup in a new mainwindow:
<Grid Name="myGrid">
<ContentPresenter ToolTip="Banana"/>
</Grid>
Substitute TextBlock for contentpresenter
<TextBlock Text="Whatever" ToolTip="Banana"/>
And it works easily.
<TextBlock Text="{Binding Element.TypeString, Mode=OneTime}" Margin="2,0" />
Maybe I'm missing something but I can't really see why you have a contentpresenter at all.
Assuming typestring is a string as it's name rather implies.

But Magnus is right in that you do have mouse-over events with ContentPresenter components; only that for some reason I don't know, they only work when the ToolTip attribute is set to a hardcoded string and no bindings are happening. So it does respond to
the mouse but it doesn't display anything that has been dynamically bound to it, for some reason.

I think I found a pretty bad bug.... I don't think this behaviour is intended:
I create a selectOneListbox which uses a map for storing the selectItems. The property holding the value is type compatible with the value in the map. When the component is shown, the wrong item is selected (ie NOT The one that is returned by the value property). If I use SelectItem[] for the selectItems, it works. Here is some sample code:
The methods in the bean (managed bean with the name helloBean). The value property always returns 12 .....

If getValue returns "12" (a String value), the situation is reversed.
See the page 9-31 of the specification. It says:
4. A java.util.Map where the keys are
converted to Strings and used as labels, and
the corresponding values are converted to
Strings and used as values for newly
created javax.faces.model.SelectItem
instances. The instances are created in the
order of the iterator over the keys provided
by the Map.

Runtime.exec() - Problem when using cvs-command

I have a problem with the Runtime.getRuntime().exec() - Command. I try to execute a command to export files from our cvs-repository. As you hopefully know, cvs produces a lot of output.
When I start my 'cvs export ... '- command from the console-window of windows, everything works perfect. But when I try to use the Runtime.getRuntime().exec("CVS export ...") the created cvs-subprocess stops after the export of the first three files. When I close the main-window, where the cvs-process was started from, the cvs-process continues working.
I could see, that many others had the same problem, but I couldn't find a real solution there.
Is there a possibility to clear/delete the output-buffer of the cvs-subprocess, because I don't really need the information, that cvs gives me. It is enough for me when cvs stores the files :-)

if the buffer is overflowing, then you don't want to do the waitfor until after you've hit the end of the inputstream, me thinks.
