Possible fraudulent activity - unable to contact c...

My account is not working properly. There is a message on my account telling me to contact customer support quoting a reference number. But I am unable to contact customer support.  I am following all the instructions, but I just end up back at this community support site.  Even the 'reporting fraudulent activity' tab refers me back here.  Skype is telling me to contact them. But I can't!!  Can anyone help?  I am now getting more and  more concerned that there is something fraudulent going on. Money has been deducted from my credit card, but I am being told I have no credit.  

Hello - can anyone help me? I have bought a Europe Unlimited subscription (for calls to mobiles/landlines). It worked for fine for about 3 days,  but has stopped working.  When I checked my account it tells me I have no skype credit (which doesn't make sense as I definitely paid for a month and have used nothing like that).  But when I try to add a new subscription, it tells me I stil have an active Europe Unlimited subscription.
I also get a message saying there is a technical problem with my account, and to contact customer support. But there is no customer support. I just get stuck in an endless loop of faqs and 'community support'.  How is that possible? How can a company take money from you, and then simply refuse to provide an e-mail or phone number for support when things go wrong? It's totally unethical.  I can understand FAQs for people looking to join Skype.  But once you've paid for a service surely you're entitled to a basic level of support.
Very very angry and frustrated customer who has just wasted about 2 hours trawling through totally unhelpful FAQs!

  • Fraudulent activity on my account

    Hello,
    I noticed fraudulant activity on my skype account. I received some email about recharge, which never reached my account. Anyway 57.5€ in 5 transactions were recorded on my credit card (mastercard, belfius). Obviously skype is saying i should go to the credit card company, and the credit card company says i should get in contact with skype and the police,... How to get in contact with skype? Impossible to send any email to any customer service? Writing this message seems to be the only contact option possible!
    So how can i contact skype and do something?

    Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? If it's not, or if they can't/won't activate, then you will need to do as the message says and contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt)

  • AAM unable to contact Adobe

    Hi,
    I have been using Adobe Cloud for few months and today I wanted to download the InDesign with AAM....unfortunately it does not work!
    When I open the AAM it just keeps loading for ages and then prompt for my adobe ID and password. Once entered again the same...loading for ages....and then message: Unable to contact Adobe. Please connect to the internet and try again.
    If I try to use the adobe download assistant an Error 100 appears......Error communicating with Adobe.com Check your network connection, and restart Adobe download Assistant
    As you do understand I have tried all suggested...and of course I am always connected to network.
    I work on Mac and I havent changed or deleted anything from adobe.....
    I will appreciate any advice.

    Been unable to contact customer service for past three hours.

    I wish there was an easy way online with Verizon to report possible SCAMs.  I have been looking for a spot.  NOT in customer service.  I have received 3 calls today  2 of them were 000-000-0000 telling me I had won some money and was in the running for more.  At the end, they wanted me to pay $3.85 to have something sent to me.  I was once told that if you TRULY won something, they would NEVER ask you for ANY money.  So it appears, they were just wanting my credit card info and charge a small amount to it first to see if it was one they could use.  I hung up!  Wondering if Verizon could trace the calls somehow and report them.

    Just received the security patch ios 6.1.6 and installed. Now iMessage and Facetime are acting like I have never justed them.  iMessage wants me to log in, which I do.     It sounds like you unable to connect your Apple TV to the iTunes Store. I would use this troubleshooting from the following article to help you resolve the issue named:

    If you discover that you aren't connected to a network, the signal strength is low, or some of these settings are incorrect or blank, try the following steps:
    Ensure that Apple TV is within range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.
    Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
    Make sure other devices (computers, iPhone, iPad, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
    Check your Wi-Fi network settings on Apple TV:
    Choose Settings > General > Network > Wi-Fi and press the center button on the remote to display nearby networks.
    Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list.
    If your Wi-Fi network uses a password, make sure you are entering it correctly.
    Restart your Apple TV by choosing Settings > General > Restart.
    Try restarting your Wi-Fi router or modem by turning it off and then on again.
    If possible, connect an Ethernet cable and verify your Internet connection.
