Possible to add Flash Vid? (FLV or SWF)

Vision2Media or Dr. Moy <-- something like this is what I'd like to do.
--Seems like the hyperlinks are not working. The pages are -www.Vision2Media.com & www.DrMoy.com-
Basically, shoot my Girlfriend on GreenScreen, then KEY her out and have her appear on my site.
Possible to do this with iWeb?
By the way... 'Sandvox' does NOT compare to iWeb. 'Sandvox' has waaay too many problems as it's still in BETA/Customer testing.

VERY Cool Site!
Your opening page is definitely one of the Best I've seen yet.
To clarify...
- You created your Opening Page Movie in FLASH.
- Saved it as FLASH 5.
- Published from FLASH 5 w/LOOP & AutoPlay TRUE & Controller FALSE to QT.
So...
- I would need to bring my Video into FLASH.
- Save it as FLASH 5.
- Publish from FLASH 5 w/LOOP & AutoPlay TRUE & Controller FALSE to QT. (in my case since I would NOT want my Video to loop... I would just set it to STOP or if I want them to be able to control the playback... set the Controller to TRUE.)
Thank You Soooo Much for the help. I'm a Video Guy that's trying to build a Website to keep my family posted about the happenings of my Baby Daughter. They are in VA and we're in CA.
From my entire Family... Thank You!

  • Possible to add cue points to a FLV recorded by webcam?

    Hello,
    I am wondering if it is possible to add/inject a cue point to an FLV server-side that has been recorded/published from a users webcam using FMS3.5.
    Thank you

    Sure, you can do that on the server side. Assume you have a stream named foo that is recording, you can do something like:
    var s = Stream.get("foo");
    s.send("myCuepointFunction", var1, var2, var3);
    When played back, the client side function "myCuepointFunction" will be invoked on the stream's client property (or, in AS2, you'd need a function on the netstream object named myCuepointFunction).

  • FLV to SWF to embed in a PDF?

    Hi All,
    I have been given a pdf (possibly built with InDesign?) and
    two flv files. I have to embed the video into the PDF. How do I do
    this, or more accurately, what is the best way to do this.
    I have Acrobat Professional 8 and the Professional Studio
    suite, including Flash Pro 8, at my disposal. I think I need to
    convert the flv to swf (how is this best achieved) and then embed
    the swf into the PDF using Acrobat Pro 8 (how is that best
    achieved)?
    The video's are no longer than 1.30 minutes, fairly static
    (man speaking at a desk and woman cooking).
    Thanks for any pointers.

    With the link tool of Adobe Acrobat you can overlay a link which does nothing.

  • AS3: Could we convert .swf into .flv and .flv into .swf

    I'm searching for a program that can take an .flv and convert it to an AS3 .swf file. Is it possible in as3, Does anybody have any ideas?
    I am not talking about any third party converter software.
    Thanks,

    Hi swati61,
    I'm not sure why do you want to play an swf file in flv player. Will you post it on your website?
    If yes, here is a solution:

  • Exporting to flv or swf

    Is it possible to export an anmation made in Dircector MX
    2004 to an flv ot swf file? In 'Publish Settings', it allows me to
    create a shockwave file, but this creates a DCR file not a swf.
    Does anyone know if this is possible?

    Hi Neal,
    As Sean suggested, you can export to a video format and then
    convert that to a FLV.
    You cannot export to a SWF from Director.
    I've converted Director animation to video and the process I
    use is to export the
    frames as an image sequence, then import these into a video
    editing program and I
    add the sound there. That way, I can ensure i have the best
    quality of the images
    and I have total control over frame rate and other video
    formatting properties.

  • Flv or swf

    Could someone please explain the differences, advantages,
    disagvantages of using either flv or swf.
    is there a site with a comparison chart of the two
    formats?

    Close...
    You can convert avi to flv, if you are using Flash 8 Media
    Encoder you can also add cue points to the video. You can then use
    these cue points to trigger events in flash, like starting a new
    animation, making buttons or text appear, really anything you want.
    The flv file then gets placed on the stage of a .fla file,
    which is a flash file. When you add all the elements and code that
    you want in flash you publish the swf file. Then you have a
    webpage, an swf file, and a flv file that need to be uploaded to a
    server.
    If you are a beginner to flash and video I suggest going to
    www.gotoandlearn.com and watching some of Lee's video
    tutorials.

  • Add flash to view

    Hello people, Im wondering how do I add flash in iWeb 08? This website is great but I don't get it. http://web.mac.com/catucker/InsideOutside/Flash.html. What happens if I'm not using an actual .com or .mac site? I just want to publish to a folder in my desktop and view it. Is there anyway to do it? Thanks :>

    [Here's how I display|http://web.mac.com/wyodor/iFrame> QT, Real, WMV, SWF and FLV.

  • How do I convert from AVI or FLV to SWF file?

    First, I'm a complete Flash novice...this is the first time
    I've dealt with any FLV or SWF files. So, please forgive my
    ignorance on these topics. I have several small AVI files and have
    successfully converted them to FLV format via Premiere Pro CS3 and
    Adobe Media Encoder. But the client is also asking for SWF files of
    the same videos. I've looked and looked for a way to save SWF
    files. I tried pulling the video into Flash CS3, and saving as SWF,
    but since I know nothing about using Flash, I don't seem to be
    doing it correctly...seems like I'm getting just a single blank
    frame. I've looked at the dozens of third party programs that claim
    to be able to convert FLV to SWF, but the one I downloaded "Free
    Video to Flash Converter" generated an SWF file that doesn't seem
    to be playable anywhere. If there is a click-by-click method for
    using Flash to perform the conversion, I'd be ever so grateful.
    Again, please forgive my Flash-ignorance. Thanks for your help.

    Why doesn't Flash have a built-in capability to convert FLV
    to SWF? It's an obvious need and there are 3rd party programs of
    varying quality that do it. Why should people who have already
    purchased Flash need to look for something that handles this OK and
    then install it on their machines?

  • Is it possible to add a logo layer to an H264 video

    I just found out the following Adobe FAQ :
    quote:
    Q: Does the H.264 implementation in Flash Player support
    alpha channel?
    A: No. Our first implementation does not support alpha
    channels using H.264...
    Would that means that it is not possible to add a logo layer
    to an MPEG4/h264 video

    Unfortunately, fading out at the end and fading in at the beginning does not create a seamless loop, since there are a few moments when the clip alpha is 0% and everything is completely black.This might be ok for some situations. But for creating a seamless loop, I need to have something, well, more seamless.
    Actually, I think I may have come up with a possible workaround to simulate a true seamless loop of an embedded video (at least get closer to it) by placing a still image (which has been converted into a movie clip) of the first frame on a new layer at the last frame, and then copying that keyframe and pasting it about 25 frames before the end, then alpha fading from the first keyframe to the final frame.
    It is not perfect, but it's something.
    Perhaps someone else might have a better solution?

  • Is it possible to add a codec to an exsisting pla

    is it possible to add a video codec to the creative zen vision m via firmware upgrade so i no longer have to deal with the bloody .m4v format that almost all (video) podcasts come in as

    "Another great advantage is if it will be possible to tranfer images directly from a camera to the vision:m! "
    The full size Zen Vision has a compact flash slot, and an adapter is available for that slot for other formats of flash memory. Transferring images from a digital camera is typically extremely slow. Removing the flash memory card from the digital camera and placing it into card reader (such as one hooked up to a pc or the one incorporated into the full sized Zen Vision) will transfer the images so much faster.

  • Is it possible to add HTML inside of a cfgridcolumn

    Hello All,
    I have been searching extensively for an answer, but have
    not yet found it and figured I would post here. Thanks to everyone
    who takes the time with this :).
    My question is this: Is it possible to add HTML to a
    cfgridcolumn?
    My form looks something like this:
    <cfform format="flash" etc..>
    <cfgrid name="mygrid" quer="myquery">
    <cfgridcolumn name="aColumn" heade="myHeader">
    </cfgrid>
    </cfform>
    I have been using Actionscript to adjust the height of the
    column since I am appending multiple columns into one. I can add
    new breaklines and do word-wrapping. The code looks like this:
    function formOnLoad(){
    contactList.variableRowHeight = true;
    contactList.getColumnAt(2).labelFunction = setLabel;
    contactList.getColumnAt(2).wordWrap = true;
    function setLabel(item:Object, columnName:String): String {
    return item.companyName + '\n' + item.description +
    '\n\nMember Since: ' + item.memberSince;
    All I want to do is have a link in the grid (for example I
    want the Company Name to be "clickable" by the user), much like the
    Developer Exchange grid in
    the
    Adobe website.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    if you don't have more tha one clicable event per row, just
    use the row to fire the click event and open the link that way.
    Otherwise, i have no idea what the allowed tags are in a grid
    cell.
    sorry
    tim

  • Flash 8: FLV

    Hi All,
    I have a webpage where 4 flvs can be viewed. The problem is
    that the playback is very stuttery. Now ive experimented with
    lowering the quality in the flash vid encoder but to no avail. The
    flv file sizes range from 500k to 2MB but there seems no disernable
    difference between the lowest and highest quality in terms of
    playback.
    Hopfully someone can shed some light on this,
    Cheers,
    Dave.

    Is this an FMS application (versus progressive download)?
    If progressive download (not FMS) then the problem could be
    your web hosting
    service is not providing adequate bandwidth for a steady
    progressive
    download.
