Possible to assign apps to one device?

I have an Iphone 4S and a Ipad 2 on the same account.
Is it possible in iTunes to assign each app I have to either only my iPhone, or my iPad or both.
I am tired of seeing apps I got for my Ipad end up also on my Iphone, and vice versa.
btw, just noticed that my Ipad2 don't show on my registered list down below. It should be as I have been using it with the same account since I got it new last fall. Did I miss to do something?

Turn off automatic downloads for apps (settings > store) and sync the apps you want on each device via iTunes.

Install apps on one device, shows up on others - how to prevent?

Hi all - currently I have an iPhone 5, iPad Air 2 and iPad (original), all using the same Apple ID - if I use the App Store and install an app on one, it shows up on the other two (at least when the app in question is compatible with the other devices). I know this is supposed to be a 'feature', but its one that I'd like to disable. Does anyone know if its possible to do so, and if so, how?

It's a feature called automatic downloads. Disable it on all of your devices by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store and under automatic downloads, turn the green switch next to apps to off

I am so lost since iTunes was redesigned! I like to manage my children's apps from the computer. We have multiple devices and I want different apps on each. I've lost this ability and I am floundering! We have too many apps to manage from individual devices. With my vision deficits, I find it easier to select and delete apps with the device connected and to move the apps to the page I want it on from a larger computer screen.
I used to be able to connect my device, sync it, and then go into a screen where I could manage the apps. No more! Why not? I get that the new design is all about the sale for Apple, but please don't take away functionality! Help!

After an hour of messing with this, I think I found my own answer.
The new iTunes automatically shrinks the left sidebar that has device information. It does not automatically tell us this. Control S returns the view to the familiar one.
For some reason,my device is not always appearing in the sidebar. This might be a problem with my USB port, again no idea why. I did see questions from other users experiencing the same problem. Once I did get the device to appear, I still did not have the ability to view the old screen that had a list of my loaded apps with a page by page view. The device info summary page was there, but the toolbar for the device was not visible.
I had to restore my iPod to its original settings and update before the old app screen and device toolbar returned.
I had been putting off the update because everytime I tried I got a message saying there were apps purchased on my iPod that needed to be uploaded or they would be lost with the update. I would agree to upload them but was never taken to a prompt to begin that process. Since I could not find a way to sync and the device specific settings were concealed I finally opted to update and lose the apps in order to solve the bigger problem. Hopefully, they are there somewhere.
Disappointed to see how many consumers are as lost as I am with the new iTunes appearance. Hope Apple is tracking these forum questions and thinking of us as clients and not just as wallets! Way too much emphasis on purchasing and not enough on user friendly accessibility in new iTunes. We're hooked, Apple. Try harder to keep us on the hook.

How do you have multiple account apps on one device

I have an iPod touch gen 2 and it's set up on my parents computer. I want to be able to sync apps from there accounts and my account on the one device. When I do it, it asks me to authorize it on the computer. I do it and it copies the apps on to there computer. When I'm done they delete the apps from the computer. When I sync again it deletes the apps. How do I do it?

No you can't.
Audio can be sent to multiple speakers in some cases (eg from iTunes), but not video.

2. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
3. Make sure Time Zone is correct

How can I access apps on one device from two iTunes accounts?

I have been told that apps can be loaded on the iPad from multiple iTunes accounts. Is this true? If so, how does one do it. My son has a school issued iPad. The school IT lead informed us that we could use apps that the school provides form the school's account and apps from our personal iTunes account. Please advise. Thank you.

You have to sign in and out of the accounts in the settings.
Settings>iTunes and App Store>Tap on the ID and sign out then sign in with the other ID. If you are running iOS 5 or under, it is Settings>Store>Tap the ID and sign out and sign in with the other ID.

Do one final sync and backup of the old iPad and then restore the new iPod from that backup. Make sure that all the apps are in the iTunes library so the app data has a place to go.

Self-assigned IP on one device at startup which eventually corrects itself

I use a Time Capsule as my primary wireless router (full disclosure: an Airport Express also acts as a repeater, and a wired Netgear router is also connected). 8 out of 9 devices connect wired and wirelessly without any issue, except for a wireless MacBook Pro which always boots and wakes with a self-assigned IP (no internet connection) despite a successful connection to my WPA wireless network. After 3-5 minutes, and perhaps coincidentally after a Time Machine backup is started manually or automatically, the internet connection rights itself.
I have tried every solution I could find - at least a dozen - including resetting all devices and waiting, deleting airport preferences, renewing DHCP lease, uninstalling and reinstalling Airport, deleting and creating locations, deleting keychain entries, turning off firewall, updating firmware and software, safe mode reboot, etc. Can anyone offer any last wisdom?

From your description I'm guessing you tried the steps below. If not, you might try the remaining ones.
1) Use the AirPort menu bar item to turn AirPort off, then on again.
2) In the Network panel of System Preferences delete the AirPort item from the left column, then add it back.
3) In the same panel as (2), define a new location and see if you can make that work.
4) In the folder /Library/Preferences (not <yourhomefolder>/Library/Preferences), move the folder SystemConfiguration onto the Desktop, then restart your computer. See if you can now make your AirPort connection work.

When iCloud is enabled for apps, if I delete an app off one device will it be deleted off of all devices?

I'm still trying to get used to iOS5 and iCloud. I currently have an iPhone 4 and the wife has the 4S. If I download/delete an app on my 4 will iCloud automatically transition the same app/remove the same app to her 4S? Does the same hold true for the iPad 2? Any additional information regarding the nuances of iCloud would also be appreciated. Thanks.

No if you delete the app off of the iOS device IPad/iPhone/iPod Touch it will be in your iTunes account so whenever you want to download it again just go to the app store and go to purchased in the update iOS 5.1.1 but in iCloud it save exactly what was happening on the app. Example: I have grand theft auto 3 and I “accidentally” deleted it and so I restored from iCloud and it had the exact same place I had last saved but if I just downloaded it again I would have lost my saved game and would have had to start over. iTunes saves your purchases and iCloud saves the data (if you know what I mean).
