Possible to display overall size of attachments on the fly?

Is it possible to display the overall size of attachments to an email while creating the email and gradually adding more attachments?

I come from a Windows background so I assumed there would be a way to simply increase the display size of everything in one shot.  If not, what hoops will I need to jump through to have this adjusted for every application on the machine?
OS X doesn't have a UI size increase ability like what you expect on Windows, it's been a long complaint of Mac users for ages, but Apple simply refuses to listen.

I have a web browser solution here, the other opiton is to use a scroll wheel/head mouse and a Universal Access "control" key to press while scolling with the mouse up and down to zoom in/out where the mouse is pointed or some other trackpad etc arrangement.

  • Is it possible to display only dynamically selected fields in the out put?

    Is it possible to display only dynamically selected fields in the out put? i need to display set of columns in the selection criteria, but in the output i have display only input given fields. because i need to convert it into .csv file. So i have to display selected fields from internal table. In oracle they are using"execute immediate". is there any equivalent in SAP?
    thanks in advance.

    Hi Remya,
    Are you talking about dynamic programming in ABAP ?
    If yes, there are concepts like RTTS which facilitates it.
    Yes, the select query also supports dynamic selection of fields. ( Please care about ( ) in dynamic sql ).
    Do more research on Field Symbols and statements like ASSIGN COMPONENT OF.

  • Is it possible to display in a front panel indicator the units name (for instance, N "Newtons" or ºC) from a virtual channel that you previously defined using MAX?

    If possible, how can I do it?
    Thanks in advance With LabVIEW 6 it is clear that we can display the DAQ channel name of previously defined virtual channels, so it seems to be possible that we would be able to access to other information defined in MAX as channel units name...
    Thanks

    Yes it is possible.
    Locate the LLB:
    LV folder\vi.lib\daq\dqchnutl.llb
    There you find useful vis to handle virtual channel.
    The Get DAQ ChannelNames.vi return also the channel units

  • Renaming attachments on the fly with CFMAIL?

    One feature of our app allows our clients to send email to a
    specific contact with an attached PDF. This PDF is built from
    stitched together files in a previous step, so it has a
    dynamically-built filename.
    The filename consists of the subject, date, and some other
    info. We were adding a hash value to the end of the filename so we
    would have a unique value and avoid overwrites, but now it's
    setting off spam filters, and people aren't getting the email.
    I replaced the hash value with the timestamp, including
    milliseconds, which seems to work well enough to keep the file
    unique. This is fine for our database, but the boss wants the
    receipient to see a "friendly" version of the filename as their
    attachment. In other words, I need to strip out that other data
    (timestamp) when I send it.
    I thought there used to be a way to send attachments where
    you have the source file name and the destination file name... but
    apparently there isn't now, as far as I can see.
    Does anyone know how to do this? It seems like it would be a
    common issue. I know I could try to copy the file to the
    tempdirectory with a "Friendly" name, then send that as the
    attachment and delete it... but that seems excessive.

    Hopefully it will help me organise things. I’ve liked having twin drives on my G5. (Though in that case there’s the added advantage of the physical security of holding vital files on two real drives.) And I always intended to partition next time I got a new Mac.

  • Is it possible to display a macbook with a broken monitor on a TV?

    A little while back I broke my Macbook display screen and, as I'm sure you all know, it is extremely expensive to replace. While I am saving up to have the money to fix it permenantly, is it possible to display it on a TV with the DVI adapter even though I can see almost nothing on the macbook screen itself? I don't want to spend the extra money for the materials if it cannot be completed. Any help would be great

    It is ... however, you will need to use an external mouse and keyboard. Connect the display adaptors, turn the MacBook on, and, when you've given it enough time to get to the desktop (you may or may not see anything happen on the TV), close the lid, allow it to go to sleep, then click the mouse to wake it up. It should use the TV as the main display.

  • Display Query results in excel on the Web

    Hello,
    I am trying to display data from a query in excel on the web without creating an actual file. I know that I can create a CSV file using UTL_FILE and display it but I was hoping there was a way to do it without actually creating the file. I have a procedure that looks similar to
    PROCEDURE displayAsCSV is
    cursor STUD_CURS is
    select * from students;
    BEGIN
    for STUD_REC in STUD_CURS loop
    htp.print(' " '||STUD_REC.FIRST_NAME||' " , " '||STUD_REC.LAST_NAME||' " ');
    end loop;
    END;
    Does anyone know if it is possible to display these results in excel in the browser by altering the MIME types or something similar?
    Thanks

    Check Tom's owa_sylk utility together with the appropriate mime-type.

  • Limit the size of Attachments in Portal

    Dear Group,
    I have a question. We're on SRM 7.0 + EP. In SRM 4+5 it was possible to limit the file size for attachments. Now in SRM 7.0 is not possible in the same way. This is a huge problem as users upload big files which are then sent-out by mail to the approvers. This causes lot's of traffic and some of the attachments even exceeds the file limit for the e-mails. We could easily switch off the send-out but this not what the clients wants to have.
    I know that there is a badi around which can be implemented but I wonder if there is a customizing in SRM which can be used to limit the file size for attachments to a Shopping Cart.
    Any Idea?
    BR Jens

    Hi Krishnan,
    If you look at most of the major documents (FI line items, purchase order, invoice, delivery, etc.) there will be a little dropdown icon in the upper left corner of the screen beside the "Display Document:" title and below the execute button.
    That icon is the 'Services for Object' button. Clicking on it will display a small popup window with several options including one for creating attachment, create note, create external document, etc.
    We want to limit the file size of the attachments to 2mb.  How can we set that limit.
    thanks,
    kbas

  • Is It Possible To define a size of the Procedure Parametere?

    In Oracle Is It Possible To define a size of the Procedure Parametere?
    If i have the procedure like

    Is it possible to define a size
    Test_sp(no int(5),name varchar2(255))

    As Anthony said - no, not in the parameter signature of a procedure or a function. Which could have unexpected run-time errors as one could wrongly assume that using a "derived" type will allow this.
    The following example illustrates:
    SQL> create table datatype(
    2 varchar2_5 varchar2(5),

    3 n1 datatype.number1%TYPE;
    4 begin
    5 begin
    6 DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line( 'len='||length(s)||' value='||s );
    7 DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line( 'value='||to_char(n) );

    9 DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line( 'parameter display failed with error '||SQLERRM(SQLCODE) );

    22 exception when OTHERS then
    23 DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line( 'number assighment failed with error '||SQLERRM(SQLCODE) );
    24 end;
    25 end;

    Note that only the string assignment fails. The string parameter works fine. And there is no impact at all on the number side, despite seemingly constraining it to a single digit.

    is it possible to display my measurement on my iPad3?
    I am having cDAQ 9191 and NI-9234, I would like to see my measurement on my iPad3.
    Q1: do I need to have a MacBook Pro to do this application?
    Q2: do I need to buy extral license to my Labview developer suite?
    Q3: is there a step by step manual for displaying measurement on iPad3?
    Solved!

    Hi,
    Thanks for your support.
    I managed to apply the example, and tried to access my  measurement Data from cDAQ 9191 with NI 9234 as per attached project and vi.
    Please review it and tell me what is wrong. The problem is after  the Web method connects successfully, I have seen the Web Link icon turned green.  But To link my  Poll to the Graph  indicator I should  select the adorner of the variable I want to link but this adorner never appeared this time on the iPad Dashboard.

  • How to change the default window size display font size on Lync 2013 main window?

    Hi champs,
    Just a simple non-technical question: How to change the default window size display font size on Lync 2013 main window on Windows 7 desktop?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    Did you mean change the Lync: Change the Default Font and Color of Instant Messages just as Edwin said above?
    If not, as I know, there is no natural way to change it.
    If yes, on the latest version of Lync 2013 client, there is a new option “IM” on Lync client “Options” list. And you need to change the default Font and Color of IM in the interface of “IM”.
