Possible to download already purchased Audiobooks a second time?

I've been searching the discussions but found no clear answer. I accidentally erased some audiobooks while, ironically enough, making backups. Ha HA! EEEeeediot.
I see that the policy as stated: "When you buy a song, video, iPod Game, or album from the iTunes Store, you are entitled to download it only once." --does not include audiobooks.

As I understand it the Audible policy is that you CAN download a purchased item more than once. So is there a way to get my audiobooks back either via iTunes or somehow at Audible?

Sorry, I wasn't clear - I don't have an Audible account, the books lost were purchased through iTunes. So... I, er, uh.

You get one and only one download of audiobooks. As always it is your responsibility to back up your content.

What country are you in ? Re-downloading music isn't currently possible in all countries (the record companies need to agree to it for each country). If you are in a country where music can be re-downloaded, then if the tracks are still in the store then they should show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.

Okay.... I need help pleeeeaaase! I've exhausted all efforts
I have purchased and downloaded songs/albums... overall experience is great, however, every now and then after the download has completed I only got part of the song (like min 40 seconds or a minute)! I have tried everything I can think of. What's irritating is that it doesn't happen all the time, so I don't think it's a conection or firewall issue. I just want to listen to my songs/slbums in it's entirty... bah, especially because it's paid for. Never had this issue when I was buying CD's LOL
So... How do I download already purchased items without paying for it again? I've tried to do it through iTunes but it says it's already downloaded. Now what?

yes. But I would recomend using Icloud. If you have purchaed the app or ownloaded it you can serch it on any of your other devices app store and you will se a different icon where the download button is suposed to go. Like a cloud. Click it and you will get it.

I could not find an option to "report a problem".
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

In France we can download Music, Books and Apps from the Cloud (no movies or TV Show unfortunately). But Can't we download previouly purchased Audiobooks? Did I miss something or is it the same than with movies or TV Shows? I can't see anything about this specific media on Apple Support FAQ.

PS. If anybody knows when the "Previously Purchased" servicewill be available for Movies and TV Shorts in France, let me know too

You haven't got copies of them on your backup of your downloads/library ? You are only guaranteed one download of each item from the store (audiobooks and ringtonesare one-time only downloads ; other items are redownloadable depending upon what country that you are in and if they remain in your country's store), so you should be keeping a backup of all of your downloads. If they are still in your country's store then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a redownload.

Audiobooks are one of the few items for which re-downloading is not available. You'll need to sync them again from iTunes on your computer.

I can't download already purchased music. I've tried connecting to my Macbook but it doesn't recognise my ipad mini.

Try deleting the waiting app then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

No. You can view it, and save or print it a page at a time as screenshots. But unlike Amazon MP3, the iTunes Store does not provide a way to download your Purchase History all at once.
Some folks on this forum have said that upon request to iTunes Customer Service they will email you the complete list, but others have said they were refused. Worth a try I suppose.
