Possible to edit description field for TV Shows and Movies?
When I buy a movie or TV show from the iTunes Store, a description appears in the aptly titled Description field. Is it possible to add descriptions for movies and TV shows that I add to iTunes through other sources? I don't see any place to add that information.

Airplay Audio for TV Shows and Movies
I just purchased Airport Express for Airplay using my MacBook Pro, iTunes and iHome speakers. My music and radio stations on iTunes stream to the speakers with no problems. The audio for TV shows and movies on iTunes will not stream. Airplay is set for my iHome speakers and the audio only comes through on my computer speakers. I'm watching the movies/tv shows on my computer, not streaming to a TV. Any suggestions?

Update PO Header Description field for Blanket Purchase Agreement

Open interface runs successfully and not getting any errors but, the description field is not getting updated.
Is it possible to update BPA using Import Price Catlaog. If not is there any API for this?

PrashanthIf you are having trouble with API, you can update DFF directly. Typically, it is a little/no risk update.
Just make sure that the new DFF value satisfies the value set attached to the DFF / DFF context.

How to edit "Credit" field for lots of shots all in once?
I can't seem to be able to know how to edit "Credit" field for lots of shots all in once.
I made a mistake of not focusing on the autofill feature which did put my friend's name instead of mine.
How to correct this mistake without modifying EACH shot been imported alone (and there is plenty of them), I don't know about you but it looks like a total time waste.

Just updated to itunes 12.1.0.71 - big problem - can no longer access the legacy "Get Info" where you could change multiple files, easily add artwork, add album name for TV show, and much more. In previous iTunes 12 you'd right click and hold shift key and be able to get to it. Anyone figured this out?
The "legacy" metadata editors, for which there was a "back door" in iTunes 12.0, have gone from 12.1. However, the revised editors in 12.1 provide access to (almost) all the metadata elements that were available in iTunes 11, albeit in a different layout and with some additional constraints based on media kind. Some users have / will have an issue with the statement that "Get Info has been completely redesigned in iTunes 12 to focus your attention only on what’s necessary for the selected item" since that removes some metadata elements that people may have been using in creative ways. iTunes 12.1 basically gives you access to the fields that Apple think are necessary ... . Some of the things that have been excluded by this rule:
track and disc number fields for video media kinds
show and episode fields for music
description tab for audiobooks made up of more than one file
Obviously the first two examples can be regarded as "overloading" the metadata elements - i.e., using them in ways that the designers didn't intend - but given that some users do find valid cases for this it's a shame that they've been deprecated in the new UI. There are couple of workarounds:
in songs view (or any of the other columnar views), you can still select any fields to display, independent of media kind, and these can be edited (though only one at a time) by double-clicking in the relevant "cell"
you can (temporarily) change the media kind of an item (or group of items) to get access to metadata elements that would otherwise be inaccessible.
It may be worth submitting an issue via https://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html - I can't see it as a huge development task to have a user preference to switch between "show all fields" and "filter fields based on media kind".
One other oddity/irritation is that some of the tabs don't, by default, show all the available fields - you need to scroll up/down to access them or to expand the window by dragging on one of its corners. Fortunately, the latter seems to be persistent - once you've done this to make all the fields visible the editor will open at the same (larger) size when opened again. -
How do I completely erase all the old tv shows and movies from my IPad? Have to plow through so many to find the ones I want to watch. Edit and x doesn't work on most of them and I don't want to store them in ICloud

you should try with FM: CRM_DATES_READ_SINGLE_OB or CRM_DATES_READ_DB.
There is something in table SCAPPT and SCGENAPPT.

I can tell you where the pricing records are saved, replicated from ECC.
The data from ECC table Axxx (e.g. A304) is replicated to CRM table
CNCCRMPRSAPxxx (e.g. CNCCRMPRSAP304).
Here you can find fields TIMESTAMP_TO and TIMESTAMP_FROM.
About the dates: what Sreekantha Gorla stated, about table 'SCAPPTSEG' is correct.
What might help is to execute program "CRM_ORDER_READ". Here you can find
the relevant entries also.

One of my imported MOV files turns "black" after editing with it for a time and I can't retrieve the images. This has happened three times, only this file. The placeholder is still there. Files are fine on hard drive. What gives? how to stop this? is in final cut pro 10.1.4

I just downloaded 5.2 and both my Apple TV shows and movies won't come up. Hulu and Netflix works fine, but when I go to select a purchased move or show through the apple menu, spiral comes up for about 10 seconds and then brings me back to the main page

So I bought a video on iTunes, how do I make it compatible with iMovie so I can edit it and make my own video? If I can't do this, then how do those people on YouTube make videos with clips from TV shows and Movies?

I would buy these shows and movies on itunes but they are not available how can i find them on itunes or somewere else that does have the shows and movies that i watch instead of the limited amount of content on itunes store now.
Apple can only sell in a particular country's store what the content providers/rights-holders grant them licenses to sell. You can try requesting that they be added to your country's store, but unless the rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell them there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
Have you checked to see if they are available on other film/TV programme apps that you have access to ? e.g. is Netflix available in your country and have they got them ? -
Mavericks + Quicktime and forced subtitles in TV Shows and movies
I have noticed that when I now open a TV Show or a movie from my external drive (M4V files) forced subtitles will not show. They don't even appear in the subtitles menu so I can manually enable them.
I usually use Subler to edit my shows and movies' metadata and add SRT subtitles after I download them. This has worked flawlessly in my Mac and my iPhone until I updated to Mavericks, so it must be related.
However, if the subtitle track is not checked, Quicktime automatically enables it (I suppose that's because default audio in OS X is Spanish but the audio track in the file is English). I'm not sure if VLC has changed its behaviour too (That would be strange, but forced subtitles don't appear either).
I have over 355 GB of TV Shows and about 2,1 TB of movies that I wouldn't want to edit, so is there any solution to this, like a hidden preference I hae not found yet? However, After Effects is only where the animation happens. You design and previsualize your effects in other applications. Well, there are some fabulous presets you can purchase but, of course, they are relatively expensive. Once your familiarity with AE goes beyond the most basic stuff, you wil appreciate why presets and effects packages cost what they do. -
ITunes TV Shows and Movies (UK)
Why am I not seeing TV shows and Movies in the UK store yet? I think it would be brilliant as TV is full of crap here, I'd be able to watch what I want, when I want, all in one place.
I watched the latest webcast "It's Showtime : Apple Special Event" held in San Fransisco, brilliant revision news about media for apples - however this sort of thing builds up my hopes only to dash me down as I live in the UK. Some things aren't here yet.
An idea about movie and TV show downloads is that i need subtitles which is something I look for when purchasing movies in an entertainment store. something which has no mention in any of the iTunes stores. Maybe quicktime should have this capability built in (I'm not sure if it has already!), this way I would be very compelled to make iTunes store purchases if movies and TV shows appear here in the UK.
Does anybody know anything about this or have any thoughts??
Post back.According to the keynote and followup coverage, Apple hope to provide Movies/Videos in international markets (including obviously the UK) by the end of 2007. From what I can gather this means something like September/October.
It has also been revealed recently that apart from Japan, Asia as a whole will not get getting iTunes Movies. However as far as I am aware the only Asian country with a store listed is still Japan in any case.
I already find iTunes tracks too expensive on the store (compared to a full CD quality physical CD on Amazon), so I don't expect to buy movies/videos even when they are available on the UK store. However what is of interest is what the BBC are going to do. In theory they have to provide programs free to UK citizens (since we have already paid via the TV license). This would be technically possible by the BBC pricing them at £0.00 on the UK store and $1.99 on the US (for example).
The current mechanism the BBC uses is iMP which uses Windows Media Player (for Windows) and therefore does not support Macs.
Hmmm, just noticed that Amazon's Unbox does list Dr. Who (from the BBC) at $1.99 per episode (not per story), however as Amazon's Unbox is not available in the UK (yet) we still don't know what policy the BBC are going to adopt.
