Possible to hide but not supress Crosstab column totals?

The reason I ask is because I really don't want to show the whole crosstab column totals section.
Only reason I need the column totals of a crosstab is because I am taking some field values off of it by defining variables using a supression formula.
I then take the variable and make a calculation on the crosstab itself... just not on the column totals.
So simply put,
Any way to 'hide' column totals in Crosstabs? Supressing it in Cross-tab Expert would render my declared variables to zero.

Unfortunately, the column that would-be hidden using your method would also be something I need to show in the actual Crosstab summary calculations.
Ultimate goal is to show all the summary calculations but just hide the "Column Totals" which also has a supression formula declared in order to use that variable in a display string within a Crosstab summary field.
A bit complicated without showing the Crosstab but that's the best way I can explain it I guess.

I am searching for a particular word 'instalment' which is used in forms. when I search using 'Find and Replace PL/SQL' there are no matches. But in Toad, when i search in 'Find in Files', its displaying the code containing the above word in a particular .fmb file. why this is happening?? I am in urgent need of that code.
Pls help me.. its urgent!!

When I open that file in Quick view from ToadWhich file are you referring too when you say "that file"? I assume you mean the Forms Module (.fmb), but I hate to assume things so could you please confirm this for me? ;-)
How can we see attached library details?There is no way to view the PL/SQL code of an attached library except by opening the library in the Forms Builder. If your form has an attached library, the Object List Report will indicate there are attached libraries in the "Attached PL/SQL Libraries" section of the report.

But through forms builder, I cant see the below details. Don't quote me on this, but believe TOAD's quick view displays all of the code in the .fmb, even the code of an attached library, whereas Forms Builder will allow you to see the signature of the program units in the attached library, but not the code.
Also the ct_message display item used here is not created in this particular form. It is in some other form. How this happens?Is the CT_MESSAGE display item a Subclassed item? Meaning, it was included in your form file through an Object Library or by copying the item to the form and choosing to subclass (create a reference to) the item rather than copy of the item in your form. Oracle Forms implements inheritence through the use of subclasses. By subclassing an item (be it a Visual widget [like a button] or a Program Unit) Forms stores a refernce to the object rather than the actual object. This allows you to share and reuse code and objects.
Check the Object List Report of your form and see if there are any attached libraries. If there are attached libraries, open these libraries in Forms Builder to find your code. It is also also possible to subclass objects in your form file through the use of Object Libraries. Check your Object List Report to see if there is an Object Groups sections:
* Object Groups
   * Name                                            CALENDAR
   - Subclass Information
   - Comments
   * Object Group Children
     * Name                                          WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE
     - Subclass Information
     * Real Object Pointed to by the Object Group Child

     * Real Object Pointed to by the Object Group Child
.....If the CT_MESSAGE item was added to your form thorugh an object library, it will be listed in this section of the object list report.

Crosstab column totals

I have a web intelligence crosstab report which contains 10 pages in the report.Once I select a column and insert a sum for a column the column sum is displayed in the last page footer.Is it possible to display the column sum in the first page in the header of the report so that the users can refer to the column sum as soon as they view the report?Is it possible to add a row beneath the column headers and display the totals there?

it is simple, go to last page and click on total, drag and drop the above of table where you see blue border....
it is like a MS WORD (ms office) Header type.

I purchased the following items and I can see them in my iTunes library but not on my iPod (Total Confidence HD, v2.0, Seller: Darren Marks|287310150 (4 ) and Confidence Now, v1.0, Seller: Tommy Connolly (4 ) )

I purchased the following from itune and they show in my library (on my computer) under Apps but don't show up in my iPod
1) Total Confidence HD, V2.0
2) Confidence Now, V1.0
Does any one know how to sync the Apps from my iTune library to my iPod?

Sorry, but Apps purchased from the App store are not compatible with your iPod classic. Apps are only compatible with an iPod Touch, iPhone, and/or iPad.

Sorry , I don't want more space in cell.I want a combo box in a cell.But when i am setting the combo box it is applying to whole column and in every row i am getting a combobox .But i want to have a combo box in one row and a textfield in another row in the same column.

When I upload a cvs file not all the column display in the Data / Table Mapping screen

1. I have created application using Apex Data Loading wizard. There when I am trying to load data from .csv file, but not all the columns display in the "Data / Table Mapping" screen. But if I go through AQL --> Utility --> Data Workshop, there all column display in "Data / Table Mapping" page. I want to get same thing in application I created. Can send but not get mail....

This is strange - my mailserver has imap/ssl/password. Before 3.0 upgrade all worked fine (hm... except a couple of days when I just got my Iphone where actualle the very same problem showed up, but suddenly started to work).
So, I can connect to server and send mail. But I can't connect to server to read/fetch mail (connection failed message).
I've exact same configuration on my macbook - working like a charm. Tested to remove account on Iphone and recreate, resync, you name it. Still not possible to read, only send.
Why???

Anyone with any ideas are welcome....
Now I dropped all mail accounts on the phone and resynched with iTunes to recreate all mail accounts. Still - one of the accounts will not work. Possible to send but not read mail. And it is working on the mac.

Supressing/ hiding columns in Crosstab

Hi, I have a crosstab report and it contains columns as:
Qty Increase | Qty Decrease | Net Qty | Cost Increase | Cost Decrease | Net Cost.
I want to display only Net Qty and Net Cost
And hide/suppress all other columns.
Anyone please let me know is there any option to do this.

Hi, Thank you and it worked. But only for 1st column. If I do for 2nd col, 1st column values are displaying again. And I need to apply this formula separately for column heading. I have written formula as:
not(GridRowColumnValue("Table.Cost")="Net Cost")
where Cost is column and Net Cost is a Calculated member. (Cost Inc - Cost Dec.)
Again I have to write this formula for suppressing another column and its values.
Is there a way to suppress all these columns & its values in a single shot except Calculated members.

When creating a "lookup" column be able to display not only one column from the other list, but additional columns

With the lookup technique, it is possible to select an item from another list and display one column of this item
It is obviously possible to create several lookup columns on the same list and therefore display several columns
There’s a high risk of not selecting the same item and therefore have inconsistent columns
The Requirement therefore consist of being able of displaying several columns of the same item from the other list, based on one unique selection
Example:
In list(x), define lookup column on list (y), column Title (possible today)
Then define a “secondary” lookup column on same list, column Code
The effect would be that when selecting an item from list (X), both Title and Code would show up consistently in 2 different columns of list (Y)
All possible solutions are welcomed

If you are using SharePoint 2010, you can retrieve additional columns when adding a Lookup. If you are using 2007, there is no direct OOTB way, but the following two posts provide potential work-arounds:

Is it possible to hide / show columns in Dashboard?

Hi All,
This is my very first post in this OBIEE forum.
My requirement is to allow users to select what columns they want to see from the answers request in Dashboard. For example in Answers request there are 10 columns and 5 of them are hidden. Is it possible to change this hide property of these hidden columns in Dashboard?

My requirement is allowing client to add columns in the result section from the Column selector or some other drop down list. For example lets say we have 4 columns in the result section and 10 values (columns) in the drop down, client could be able to add these some columns to result section, which means 4 columns in the result + selected column from drop down.
Its not normal column selector which replaces one column to another.
Is there any way to achieve this?

The work around is to do two documents, one in portrait format and one in landscape format. When finished export to Pdf. open in Preview by select both files and use Cmd + O or doubleclick. You can now in Previews thumbnail column the pages from one document into the other and then save.
If you have created only one with i.e. all pages in portrait format but with the content for the landscape pages rotated on the pages, you can rotate the pages in Preview. Two ways to get the same result.

I think you're out of luck... except if you're on 11g where you can use DBMS_SQL.TO_CURSOR_NUMBER to convert the REF CURSOR to a DBMS_SQL cursor, and then benefit from the DBMS_SQL package to get column details.

I have done settings in SICF Tcode in ECC system as Following:
~Webgui = 1
~Webgui_simple_toolbar = 160, 2, 4, 16, 32, 64 and some more values... It is hiding the Back option but also the Save Option....
I also want to disable commands as Ctlr + S , shift + F3
Suggest me some solution so that this can be done from portal instead of ECC systems.....

I have done this problem using SICF but instead of Hiding Back option .. I have allowed a user to run only one transaction using an iview....
Put following parameter in SICF:
~webgui = 1
~theme = Sl
~SINGLETRANSACTION = 1
By this configuration user will be able to execute only one transaction i.e assigned him in his transaction iview.... It's an alternate solution of hiding back......
when user click front screen back option of an transaction iview he will get message ... Logged off....

No, you can not delete the pre-installed apps. However, you can hide them by placing them in a folder (create one by dragging one app onto another) and putting that folder on an unused page.

No, since the iPad 2 is iOS 8 compatible it can only be updated to iOS 8. Apple does not support upgrading to interim iOS versions, and removes those files from the servers when a new version is released. The only path for that iPad 2 is iOS 8.0.2.
