Possible to import mx.core.Application ?

Is it possible to import mx.core.Application from flash CS3 ?
With that i could make a call from this pure flash swf to my
flex main application that is loading it with SWFloader...
I ask that cause i've seen that before on the web, but
compilator says No!

Is it possible to import and display/plot (Google Earth) KVM files as overlays in Mac OS 10.9 Maps application?
Here is the particular application: (note I haven't gotten the code to compile yet -- seems to be several differently named environment variables in Mac unix than in Linux that are making the compile blow up -- but that's another issue) there is a freeware application that can do radio path loss prediction and plot path loss contours on a map. It has an option to output the data as KML files which can be imported into Google Earth, in order to display the path loss contours on Google Earth maps. I guess you could liken it to displaying overlays of GIS-like data in Google Earth. I would like to know if there is a mechanism to facilitate importing KML data files to overlay (preferably in a translucent fasion so that you could see the underlying map) onto Mac OS 10.9 Maps?

As I stated, "possibly."
While the commerce side of it has little to do with the KML files, per se, the API for the layer data should allow for any type of overlay.
Also, the patent was filed Dec 19, 2013. There was a related patent filed in 2012. Not sure what it is about.

Desktop Software 6.0 (PC) does not show OS 6 system software and core applications

I have installed DM 600_b047 on my PC (running WinXP w/ SP3). I have also installed both OS 6.0.0_rel862 and 5.0.0_rel1385 on the same PC. When I connect my Bold 9000 to the PC, DM shows everything that is installed on the device. However, when disconnect the Bold and I connect my Torch 9800, DM shows only the third-party apps installed on the device. DM does not show the System Software, Core Applications, Phone, etc. that are installed on the Torch.
On another PC (also WinXP w/ SP3), I have installed the same DM and OS software. DM on the latter PC shows all System Software, Core Apps, 3rd-party apps, etc. of both the Bold and Torch.
I would appreciate any suggestions how to get my other PC to show all BB software installed on the Torch. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the DM and OS software on the one PC. It did not resolve my issue.

Is it possible to import one spark component without importing the entire spark library?

I want to create an actionscript mobile application project because the total size will be smaller than a flex mobile application - the SDK is smaller because it doesnt contain unnecessary libraries e.g. the spark, mobilecomponents, framework etc. are not included. There are however 1 or 2 spark and mobile comonents that i would like to use and it seems a little silly to import the entire swc libraries for a couple components. So herewith my question... Is it possible to import a spark or mobile component without actually importing the entire swc library?

Im using option 2: Merged into code. I have just recreated this on a colleague's laptop as well with the same result.
Could you perhaps see if you can follow these steps and see what happens on your side.
Create a new Flex Mobile Project > SDK 4.6.0 > Google Android Platform > Blank Application Template > Finish
Add <s:TextInput/> under declarations tag
Export Release Build > Intermediate AIRI package that must be manually signed later > Finish
Decompile the SWF from the .airi package (I'm using Sothink SWF Decompiler)
Expand Action > Spark > Components
My components folder contains many spark components im not interested in packaging - see screenshot attached above for the full list. All we added was a spark textInput and the swf contains Buttons, Scrollbars, TabbedViewNavigator etc. Thus the reason for this post.

I have created OBI dashboard on top of Hyperion Planning application. I needed to do quite lot of changes to Planning to get the analysis working. Naturally I have worked with test application.
Now that I want use the production application, I am wondering if I need to do the analysis all over again. Is it possible to import the analysis, so that I could tell that there's a new subject are that needs to be used? Would there be any solution so I don't have to do the work all over again?

I didn't put my problem clear enough. I have been working with "PlanAppTest" as the source. Now that I know what changes I needed to make to the source app I am ready to make them in "PlanAppProd". So to source will change and I have to import it in the BI admin tool etc.
If I do the archive and unarchive I can not say that the subject area is different ( or at least I couldn't).
I'm using 11g.

There is no way to directly import any of the programing blocks from The MathWorks, Inc. Simulink® software into LabVIEW.
However if you wanted to use your own code that you programed using The MathWorks, Inc. Simulink® environment in LabVIEW, we do have the NI Simulation Interface Toolkit which you can use.

Is it possible to import disc at once with markers to the tracks?

I now have to import my cd's twice. Once, so I have access to all the tracks and once for the disc at once. All I want is to be able to play the album like a CD. Listen to the thing as a whole and have access to each track if I wish. Why can't apple add this simple application to itunes? It would free up so much hard drive space. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

No, it's not.
But if you are trying to get gapless playback from something like a continuously mixed dance CD you could try this.
Chec Crossfade playback in iTunes>Preferences>Playback and then setting the slider to 0 yields pretty good results. Not perfect, but pretty good.
This will only effect playback in iTunes, not CDs you burn from iTunes.

Desktop Software and Core Applications Upgrade

About 2-3 times a week when I link my phone with my Desktop Software, I am told there is an upgrade to the Core Applications software. I did the upgrade yesterday (Wednesday), and when I connected them again today (Thursday) it says there is another upgrade available. Is this normal, or is my software not really installing the upgrade each time? When I was on the Blackberry site, I had it check my phone and was told there are no updates available. Is this only checking the OS or does it also check Core Applications software?

Here's how I resolved my issue:

We've made subclassing components in AS straightforward, but
subclassing Application isn't trivial. There is some support code
that an Application needs thatI the MXML compiler sets up. think
you're running into the problem that you don't have a global CSS
selector. (The MXML compiler parses default.css and creates
ActionScript that sets up the CSSStyleDeclarations that the
application needs.) We can probably make this easier in the next
release, but it's unlikely to get better for Flex 2. Is there some
particular reason why your app can't be an MXML file, or it is just
a preference?
Another possibiliy is to turn on the
keep-generated-actionscript option, compile an empty
<mx:Application/> app, look at the subclass of Application
that the MXML compiler produces, and copy any relevant -looking
autogenerated code you find there.

Undefined symbol error when importing PyQt5.Core

If I try to import (in python) PyQt5.QtCore, issues arise:

Unwrapping that symbol with c++filt, I get:
typeinfo for QFileSelector
This issue pops up when compiling sonic-pi-git. It also prevents the launch of applications like leo that import PyQt5.Core.
This is only an issue on one of my systems, a laptop with an Intel i7 (Haswell) processor. My AMD-based desktop does not have this issue.
I think it's probably a poorly installed library, but which one it is and how I fix it is a mystery to me. Any thoughts are appreciated, more info can be provided on request. Thank you for your time.

Well I've got good news and bad news it seems.
Bad: installing the latest development snapshot of PyQt5 (PyQt-gpl-5.5-snapshot-f6bfd44ba749) from their website did not solve the problem. The same error occurs on trying to import PyQt5.QtCore. This issue is still non-existant on my Antergos VM with the official packages, which have the same version numbers as those in the Arch repos.
Good: removing the python2-pyqt5 package solves my issue with launching the program Leo, so it seems the library import and Leo issues might be unrelated. Still need this package as a dependency for other programs though...
I'm kind of stumped. Is the next best step just removing packages until I've found the one that's breaking this part of the library, or seeking some help upstream? And is anyone else running into this issue as well, or is it really just me?

I need Mozilla 33.1.1 to work with Java 7u67 for my organization's core applications

We'll soon be using a core program in are organization that works better on Firefox than in IE.
However, We are at a point where Java 7u67 is the supported version of Java.
Having installed Mozilla Firefox v.33.1.1 I find that it is rejecting Java 7u67 for security reasons.
Is there a way to allow the use of 7.67 with our core application?

Can you enable the Java plugin via the Lego block icon on the location/address bar?
Note that you may have to create an allow security exception to make the applet run and possibly clear the Java cache and exceptions and certificates stored in Java.

APEX supports backward compatibility. It means that 3.2 version can run any application that was developed in earlier versions.
In your case, just export the full application from 3.0 and import it in the 3.2
