Possible to Sync / Input Music from 2 Computer on iPhone?

I have all my music at home.
But all of a sudden i want to put a specific ringtone on my iPhone at office. ( To have fun )
Is there anyway to put the ringtone in there without Destroying the library i have in my iPhone?
From what i read, Apple havn't solve this problem yet. Is that still the case?

"From what i read, Apple havn't solve this problem yet. Is that still the case?"
NO this is not the case. There is no problem to solve. Apple has designed the iphone this way. You can sync to one library - on purpose.

  • HT1296 My iphone 4s is registered on my mac boo pro. Is it possible to sync my music from iphone to laptop without losing music content on iPhone

When I try to sync the music from my iphone 4s to mac book pro, I get a message that suggest that if I continue, the contents in my iphone will be replaced with whats already in the itunes on mac book pro (in other words my iphone 4s music collection will be all lost).  Is there a way of syncing the 2 devices without losing any of the music.  I seem to manage to sync other items like calendar, contacts, photos, books etc.

If the answer to the above question is "yes", FIRST, set up a backup of your new computer before you do anything else so the next time your computer breaks you will not be in the same situation. Backup solutions are numerous and inexpensive, and there is absolutely no excuse in the Third Millennium not to have one.

  • No sync my music from itunes to iphone 5

No sync my music from itunes iphone 5, which is on my PC. Photos and
notebook synchronized perfectly. My iPad synchronized to music at the
same time. I tried absolutely everything.
I am a musician. Why can not I upload my own music, which I wrote
    myself to my iPhone 5?
    How to solve this problem?

You were told wrong. You can sync only what you want to sync.
Yes, iCloud is taking place of Mobile Me over time. MM will be turned off in June of next year.
With iCloud, you can store the music in the cloud and download the tracks that you want to listen to without having to sync to your iTunes.

  • Is it possible to sync purchased music from the Itunes store to a non-Apple device?

I have a shuffle but my sister has a non-Apple MP3 player. How do I take music from my library that i purchased and add it to her non-apple mp3 player?

You would have to read the directions that came with the MP3 player to learn how to put music on it.
    itunes syncs Apple devices.

  • Why can't i sync my music from computer to iPhone4s?

i download a new music into my itunes library, and when i'm trying to sync the music to my phone it shows "The phone could not be synced because the sync session failed to start". What should i do to fix this??

I restart my phone and computer, then it let me sync. If you have same problem try this, it might work.

  • How to transfer music from computer to iphone without deleting existing iphone purchases

I am putting CDs into iTunes on a home computer (PC) and I want to put that music onto my iPhone.
But the only option seems to involve deleting all my iPhone music, which includes purchases that I have recently made which I cannot synch to my computer.

Syncing music does at least two things.
    1.  It can add to the device any music that is resident on the computer that is used for the sync
    2.  it can add any music from the mobile device to the computer if both are logged in (and authorized) to the same account that purchased the music.
By the description in your post, I suspect that some music is on the device that was purchased with different Apple ID than the computer is authorized to.

  • Can't sync my music from itunes to iPhone

I recently updated itunes on my computer and now I can't sync my music to my iPhone.  Any suggestions?

I'm only trying to sync 350 songs. When I click "sync" the process will start but it won't end in my iTunes. My iPhone's sync symbol dissapears and the sync symbol in iTunes in my PC is still there. The sync process that consits of 5-7 steps won't finish the last step and keeps "downloading Safari secure browsing data" (I don't know if this translation is correct, I'm Spanish and iTunes is set up in Spanish too)
I've tried turning off Wi-Fi because some people got rid of this problem this way supposedly, but it didn't work at all

  • Is it possible to sync 'Read Later' on computer with iPhone?

I need help syncing my iPhone with the Read Later links I create on my computer. Is it possible? I should point out that my computer runs on Windows 7. I hope that's not an impediment...

I will reply to my own question with information I learned by calling Apple customer support. Perhaps this will be helpful to others.
I was told that I would need to have an Apple computer in order for the Reading List I created on my computer to sync with my iPhone.
Because of this, and several other deficiencies I've run up against, I have decided to send my iPhone back and return to Android.

  • Not authorized to transfer music from computer to iphone?

I have 2 iphones. Mine is synced to my laptop and my wife's as been synced to her laptop but it identifies her phone as mine (on her laptop)-now mine was never synced on her laptop, thats the first problem. Second problem, I have an account with itunes which is accessed by my wife on her computer and also accessed by me on my laptop using the same password. When we download songs to the laptops and try to send them to the iphones by syncing to the laptops we both get a message telling us that we are not authorize to do this on each of our computers. She downloads songs to her laptop and I download songs to my laptop and then to each iphone respectively (well, at least we tried). I do not sync from her computer and she does not sync from my computer-we keep both separate. Why are we not authorized to upload to the iphone and what do I need to do to fix this. Thanx. ailimac

Dah on me, I never tried to play the songs -just tried to upload to iphone. After reading your reply I tried playing them on the laptops and I was asked to put in a password. Problem solve everything is going to where it should. Thanks alot.

  • Copy music from computer to iphone

How do you transfer music purchased in Itunes from your PC to your Iphone? This was much easier to do with earlier versions of Itunes than the current version.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Its done exactly the same way as it was before. What are you finding different about it.

  • Is it possible to transfer all music from an i-pod classic onto the computer's i-tunes platform by syncing or any other means??

Is it possible to transfer all music from an i-pod classic onto the computer's i-tunes platform by syncing or any other means??

If at all possible, keep the pc alive.  You will need a place to backup your stuff that will not go to the cloud.  If your pc supports the current version of I tunes, then load it up and make that your central storage place.   If your problem is simply lack of disk space on the pc, external USB drives are pretty cheap.
In any event, you will need I tunes to get the non purchased music o to your pad, so you will need a pc at some point.
